Over the years this place has declined dramatically. This is one of the worst pharmacies and store ever. The drive through is never open anymore. They have this super tacky looking card board sign in the window that says "closed for lunch 1:30-2:30" up in the window regardless of the time of day. So you are forced to go inside and stand in line. Went to urgent care, they sent my prescription here, got a text from the pharmacy stating rx was ready. I went to pick up 3 medications the same day, 5 hours after it was called in, and when I get there only one medication was ready! I was told to come back in 45 minutes. Seriously 5 hours later!!! Needless to say I left without my much needed medication. Next day, same bs! I'm seriously not joking, I went to urgent care on a Wednesday. I didn't get the next text from the pharmacy stating my rx was ready until SATURDAY! Seriously 3 days to fill a prescription. Wth! If this was a life threatening medical issue I would have been in a really bad place. I'm never going back to this pharmacy again. As for the store...... it's just as bad. Every aisle in the store has completely empty shelves. It's so bizarre. I asked the clerk at the checkout counter if the store was closing down? She seemed perplexed by my question but answered "no". Clean and organized store but low on products with high prices. Stopped in here to grab a supplement vs. having to go out of my way. They didn't have the mg I use, so I got the smaller version, which was a third more expensive than at Target where I usually get it. Hard to find as well. Even the pharmacy tech I asked to help me find it couldn't locate it, nor the staff member he asked to help us out. I finally found it later. Their shelves were almost bare for paper products but so is pretty much everyone at this point. The self check-out was my only option as there wasn't a cashier. I was there during the daytime. I walked in to get photo taken. There were only 1 customer waiting in line with 1 cashier helping her. I went straight to photo center to wait for her. But customers came in the line. However she did not say or do anything to me like nothing at all. Another worker came to help her. As she go next to me, she did ask what i need and told me that there is no one can take photo. read more

My reason for going with this pharmacy in particular is the hours in which they are open. I feel like that's such a great convenience for me as I'm never going off a set schedule, and you never know when you're going to need to go pick up that prescription at 830pm.. it's in a convenient location, also has a drive thru. Pharmacy staff are generally friendly and always knowledgeable. It is a bit awkward when im standing in line for pick up however, with my small child having to redirect their attention away from the various sexual health products the store sells. I mean, does it have to be in the one aisle people are for sure to stand in for at least a minute? sometimes 10 minutes? I mean, I'm all for the items as they are great. But would be nice if it could be somewhere else. might I suggest face wash? read more

I have tried to give this pharmacy a chance so many times because it's close to where we're living currently. That being said, I would rather drive 45 minutes North to get my prescription, I don't give a flying fart in space about gas or dealing with traffic if it avoids having to talk to a couple of the pharmacy techs that work here. One that stands out for me, is not once, but two times now being told that my ADHD medication (which is a controlled substance and I get that), isn't in stock. The shortage, I'm well aware of. It's the rudeness and incompetence of being told, "we don't have that medication for you, you should call your doctor and have your medication changed." MA'AM. Idk what bag of rocks you got hit upside the head of with this morning, but that's not how *my* medication works. Oh YES, I will call my doctor and tell him the pharmacy is out of stock and to just change my stimulants--that we have carefully adjusted dosages and such over a long period of time--to a new one! Because Vivanyse is the same as Dextroamp/Adderall, and does the same for everyone, right? Or what about Wellbutrin? They're all the same, yeah? ‍ Good grief. I can't believe someone in a pharmacy would just tell someone "we don't have it, change your medication to something else." WTF. An entire idiot. I only come here if I'm desperate to see if they have my medications so I can try to stay on schedule. Fun fact, I've been on my medication for a year now, and EVERY single month I am ripped off of my meds for 2 weeks (after I finally readjust to my meds again after being off of it suddenly from the previous month refill issue, and have had to go through the extreme cycle of sleeping, binging, anxiety, depression, and hell that comes from withdrawing from my meds) due to dealing with them or my insurance. Usually the pharmacy though. I can't even tell you how many times I've had to call my doctors office after they tell me they don't have it, just for the care team to put in an urgent order for my medication. You know what happens when the doctor puts in an urgent order? They *miraculously* have it ready within 2 hours. Wow, imagine that. Another fun fact: just because your customer is prescribed a category 2 controlled substance for the chemical imbalance in their brain, does not automatically make them a junkie that you have to withhold their meds from. This girl forgets to take them when I do have them, heck, I take my XRs and take a nap no problem. Needless to say, there's a few employees here (not all of them) that are incredibly rude and shouldn't just be telling customers that they "need to change their meds" nor put them through the ringer because they raise their eyebrows over what kind of medication it is. read more

If there was an option for zero stars, I'd give this Rite Aid a zero. I've lived here for 20 years, and every time I use this pharmacy I'm annoyed. The last 3 times, I've waited over 24 hrs to pick up my medication--always needed asap--yet it as if they are waiting for me to pick it up before they begin to fill it. Each time, I'm told it'll be 45 min-1 hr before it's ready, and to 'have a seat and wait'. This is ridiculous and unacceptable, Yet the excessive waiting is always a constant. Also, even if I'm second in line, it's guaranteed that I'll wait at least 15-20 min before it's my turn. It's much worse if there is a line. I've waited an hour before, only being 4th in line. It never changes, After I pick up my scrip 'in 45 min-1 hr', I'm never coming back. read more

I came by this morning at 6:50am and realized they weren't open until 7am. I was on my way to work but I needed some medicine so I decided to wait. At 7:05am, they still weren't open, and finally the staff lady came up with her iced coffee, walked in, and locked the door her. Eventually I gave up on waiting because I'd be late for work. I went to the pharmacy drive through to get my scheduled Covid test. Understandably I had to wait for the cars ahead of me to be taken care of. I had no problem with that whatsoever. When I got to the window I was handed off to a pharmacist that took a while and then was handed the test. He told me to drive in to the parking lot and complete the test and then drop it back off. That is ridiculous because my test was scheduled and according to the directions they had posted you are supposed to swab each nostril for 15 seconds. So basically they couldn't be bothered to wait the 30 or so seconds for me to complete it. After I was done I got back in line and noticed the second lane was empty and for drop-offs only. I placed my sample in the container and sent it to the counter via the vacuum tube. When the Rite Aid rep received it she roller her eyes, gave a huge sigh, and turned to her coworkers with a look of exasperation. Then she turned back to me and said I was supposed to go back in the first line to drop it off. I explained to her I wasn't told which line I was supposed to drop it off at and the 2nd lane said "drop-offs" only. She gave me another exasperated look and sent my test back to me. I then had to wait again for several cars to complete their transactions only to have the pharmacist come back to the window and tell me to place the test in the tray. That was it. You'd think it would make sense for them to take it in their vacuum tube since it said for "drop-offs" only and the pharmacist only needed to ask me to place it in the tray. What was supposed to take 5 minutes turned in to an hour long process. Horrible customer service and extremely disrespectful. I usually don't take time to write reviews like this but this was the worst experience I have had in quite some time. I won't describe or name the Rite Aid rep for privacy but my visit was on 6/14/22 at 2:15 pm. Hopefully that narrows it down for Rite Aid to address this with their unprofessional employee. P.S. I wrote this while I was waiting in line the second time to drop off my test. Super awesome use of my time. I'm sure I'll get my test results next year with the way they handle business. read more

If I could leave a 0, I would. Not only is this pharmacy out of everything, they're rude and generally just mean. I had someone tell me I should have known my medication I was trying to refill was 'rare' (wtf) and that if I wanted it i had to drive to Bellevue at 6pm on a Friday. I put the order in Wednesday. Apparently no one wanted to tell me they didn't have it in Stock. I might forgive if that were the first time it happened, but it's so common that they don't refill or they're out I can't even be shocked. I had one pharmacist, when I asked about a price increase, tell me I was "paying for convenience" in front of a line of people. No, ma'am, I'm pay to LIVE BECAUSE THESE ARE MEDICATIONS. Today I came through in the morning and I was helped by a young woman named: Rachel. She was extremely rude and had an attitude with me the moment I pulled up to get my prescriptions. Rite Aid bought out my little pharmacy because it was well run, convenient, quick and the staff was awesome. I've been in 3 times to this location and I'm done. I'll be checking out my Health Care Provider's prescription mail program. It shouldn't take 5+ minutes for every single customer and I guess I go at peak times because there is always a line. WORST pharmacy EVER! Customer service and organization is awful! Every single time I have a prescription they text me and tell me it's ready, then I go and try to pick it up in either the drive through or in the store and have to wait 35+ minutes just for it not to be ready and to be told to come back in 45 minutes. A good majority of the time they don't even have it ready the 2nd time I come back!! Not to mention that any time I need to acctually talk to someone about a prescription or a problem with my prescription they are extreamly rude!! I've talked to almost all of them I think and I've only had a good experience with two of them. The only reason this rite aid deserves one star is because the people who work the front counters in the store are very nice. I feel bad for them! Made the mistake of returning to Mill Creek Rite Aid Pharmacy. When I registered a complaint (details below) with the lab technician, she informed me that Rite Aid corporate says only managers handle customer complaints. My multiple issues were not her problem. Not her concern. Good companies don't make policies like this. Rite Aid does. Now the details. 1: Dropped off two prescriptions at Rite Aid pharmacy. As before one of these prescriptions was misplaced and totally unaccounted for. Once found, I left asking for a text when the misplaced prescription is filled. 2: Half an hour later, took a call from the Rite Aid Lab Tech. She claimed the dosage for the lost prescription, 40 mg of methylphenidate hydrochloride (generic Ritalin LA), is too high. Rite Aid cannot fill it, insurance will not paid for it. So my Doc needs to get in the loop. This is b.s. Novartis and the FDA agree with me. See link below - note the support of 60 mb dosing and the packaging of 40 mb tablets. This is my neighborhood pharmacy. I love their Wellness program discounts and they off set my purchases every month. The pharmacy people are all friendly and helpful. They have recently remodeled the store and it is much more pleasant. They have a great photo kiosk to print your own and they are adding a clinic in the back near the pharmacy. read more

This evening the guy working at the front has the nerve to tell me my insurance card isn't on file. And he needs to see my card in order to give me my RX.... which is really strange considering all my prescriptions have been coming here since I moved to Bothell last August. Regarding the actual store - they have a fairly decent selection. The employees are friendly and helpful. I like the wellness + program because of the discounts. Regarding the pharmacy - it's an absolute joke. There are so many people working back there, yet the lines get so long. I've had pharmacy tech's question why I was prescribed something, even though that isn't their business. Overall it seems like the people they hire for the pharmacy need a lesson in customer service. I bought a six piece patio set today from the Bothell Rite Aid Store #05180 on Bothell Way N. I have a Mini Cooper coupe and the box containing the patio set would not fit into the car! However, Mike patiently measured the box and tried several ways to get the box into my car but to no avail! However, he was willing to take my suggestion to open the box and load the patio set separately into the car and it worked! I was so grateful for Mike's patience and willingness to try "thinking outside the box"! He should be rewarded by the company for excellent customer service! read more

In regards to the pharmacy: I appreciate that it is open until 12am, but what is the point of being open so late if the pharmacists don't want to do their job? I needed to fill a prescription for gluclose testing strips. Not narcotics or opiates or any kind of consumable chemical. I arrived with my husband at 9:15pm and a nice woman behind the counter told us that they may not have the exact the strips prescribed and she would need to check. She came out a couple minutes later with the strips asking us if it looked like mine and thankfully they were. She said it would take only 20-30 minutes to unpack the small box they arrived in and check them in. This seemed reasonable. We said we would be back in 30 minutes so that my husband could drop myself and our very tired three old at our home that is only a few minutes away. When my husband returned at 10pm, the nice woman was gone and left was a man who was there when we were, but was sitting there doing nothing. Which at the time I don't blame him for, there was nothing to do seeing as we were the only ones there. When my husband asked for my prescription, the man told him that it would be another 30-40 minutes because he needed to "put it in the system, which can take a very long time." I'm disappointed. If it was some kind of narcotic, I could understand. But since my strips were already taken out of the small box the first woman found them in, I'm a little confused as to why it would take another 40 minutes in addition to the first 45 minutes? A total of one hour and a half hours to unpack a box smaller than my purse and input it into the inventory system? Sounds to me like someone expected us not to return for my prescription and was counting down the minutes until 12am instead of working. read more

I am so done with this pharmacy. I used to have no problems here. Now they never have my medication ready. When I call my doctors office to find out why they haven't renewed my prescription, they say the pharmacy never contacted them. I'm sick of being out of my meds because this pharmacy can't get their shit together. Also, I called today to get the status of my meds and the woman on the phone was incredibly rude until I was rude back to her and she snapped right out of it. What the hell is your problem? I went to this pharmacy ONLY because it was open later, and was the only one available near my doc when my appointment finished (my regular one was closed). After waiting 35 minutes in the drive through, my rx wasn't ready - oh, but they were quite willing to try and give me someone else's (with a different name). So - I had to go INTO the store - and stand in line behind a half dozen people there. For 20 more minutes. Then I heard my name paged to talk to the pharmacist. Went up to the counter - they wanted my insurance information (not sure why that couldn't have waited until it was my turn in the line). Takes my card and says "it will take me a few minutes to put this in the system." Fine, but I am NOT leaving my ID card with you and walking away. Then, after he loads the information (and has my prescription in his hand) he says "okay, go ahead and get back in line and the pharmacist will finish up with you." WHAT? You make me wait 35 minutes in the drive through, 20 more minutes in line, only to pull me out then tell me to go BACK and wait in the line you just pulled me out of (and had another group of people come and stand in while you were loading my information). I get this must be a miserable job for pharmacy techs, and I do try and be patient. But come on! Rite Aid - stop being cheap, miserly money greedy jerks and staff accordingly. Pharmacists and the techs - be more cognizant of what your clients are going through, too - and how to efficiently run your area. These people are not here for fun - they are in pain, or scared, or both. And need assistance and not to lose an hour or more of their personal time to you. Even if I have to delay getting any future medications by a day in order to go to my own pharmacy....I will NEVER give this one my business again. And have made sure that my friends in the area are aware of this poor service and management, and they are switching to other pharmacies as well. read more
