The customer service sucks. Went in to purchase a retirement gift of a bourbon and the clerk was very rude. He said he only sells certain things to his best customers and maybe I should look at release dates and not try to find something that was released 8 months ago. The staff is terrible. Selection is big though. When I first walked in an employee walked right past me with no greeting. I then greeted her and asked where something was. I was told " read the sign" The store is huge there are plenty of signs I just wanted to minimize my time in there and wanted the employees help since she works there and supposed to know where things are. After finding what I was searching for I went to pay and was ask for my ID which is fine but I had left it in the car. I went to go grab it and came right back in and walked to the counter to pay but she told me she put it back already. I couldn't have been gone but 2 minutes. So she clearly knew where it was so it was more confusing as to why she couldn't tell me where it was to begin with. I was also the only one in the store so it's not like she was busy. The wal-mart of liquor stores. Prices and variety you literally cannot beat. I love this place! I went here for 4 years and if I ever needed help finding anything someone always helped me. In addition to the regular good service, one time I requested that they should add Bubble Gum Vodka to their repettoire of vodkas. It tastes delicious with soda water and is my favorite. This review goes out to the Rite Aide Staff at 140 Village Shopping Center in Westminster. Today I came into your store around noon asking for help calling Animal Control about a German Shepard with no collar running out in the middle of Main Street I had accidentally left my cell phone at home. You were the 4th business I asked, all the rest said they didn't want to get involved. Perhaps this sense of community has something to do with Rite Aid being a Maryland based business or maybe I just got lucky and found staff who were also concerned about some poor animal unlucky enough to have irresponsible owners. Well, thank you for the leash. Unfortunately, by the time I got back the animal was gone. I will have that leash for the next poor dog. Thank you. Your efforts were greatly appreciated. read more

I went to Rite aid to get some medicine for my blisters on my feet was not sure what was the best for the Job I asked for help and the staff was very helpful to get me the medicine that I needed.they even took the time to explain how to use it.they were very helpful.I felt good when I left there. read more

This is the worst pharmacy in Westminster. They gave me an antibiotic solution for one of my kids unmixed. Meaning they gave me a bunch of powder. When my wife called in they told us to mix it ourselves. Not until I went down myself and did the angry dad routine did I actually talk to a reasonable person who took the powder and made it into the medicine I payed them for. I avoid them as much as possible but their hours are so good I end up there at times. Went there today and they had a million reasons why they couldn't get a simple script filled today. It's getting filled at Wahlgreens while I write this review. Honestly it is todays experience that po'd me enough to review them. I am in retail and they were basically telling me to go ---- myself. I wanted to call corporate and complain but that number's been turned off. I work in Hanover PA and the riteaid there is awesome. Nice pharmacist, friendly prompt service. I wish they'd puy this location under the same management team. read more

Set in an innocuous suburban center between Joann Fabrics and Food Lion, this is like a liquor Disneyworld! Huge place. Prices are on par with other area stores. Service is adequate -- they can tell you what aisle the vodka's in, but don't ask for a specific Argentinian red wine or they'll have a bit of a spasm. read more

This is my go to place for beer, wine, and bourbon. The prices are great and they have a great selection. Nice thing about this store if they do not have what you are looking for just ask and they will get it in if it is available. The parking lot can be a little busy but I cannot hold that against them. The other nice thing about the store is you have a nice selection of restaurants surrounding the store (Little Caesars Pizza, Mediterraneo Ristorantet, Forbidden City Chinese Restaurant, Chick-fil-A, and Sakura Japanese Steak House). This makes it easy to order carry out and then go get something to drink, you cannot go wrong. I believe Tyler got this store confused with the pharmacy across the street. This used to be my go to pharmacy and there is still several people that are great there, but the night pharmacist is not nice and very condescending. He gives attitude even if you are nice to him. That is probably why he works at night. I would suggest waiting for the day pharmacists unless it is an absolute emergency. With the new Maryland prescription policies it is getting harder and harder to get scripts filled in a timely manner. It is not our fault they have to deal with everyone last minute, so they need to reevaluate the attitudes. People only have two days to get their prescriptions before their due so if you are going out of town or need it earlier, you will have to do without, which makes it hard on patients. Rite Aid needs to make the process easier or be nicer about the process. Other than that this location is typical pharmacy that I started using because it is 24 hours a day so I can call in and pick up my scripts at any time with long work/school hours. Now that the night pharmacist is working there I choose not to go at night, unless the script is sitting there waiting or it is an emergency. You cannot talk with him on the phone, because he gives you attitude, and he's rude. Sad because I have never had a problem in the past with anyone there. One person can ruin it for an entire business. read more

This pharmacy is terrible if I could give them 0 stars I would. The staff and pharmacist are beyond rude. Somedays they will fill your prescriptions and sometimes they don't depending on who is working or the time of day. They always have excuses and lie right to your face. They are all beyond disrespectful and no one should ever be treated in the manor that they treat customers. I was just told tonight by a pharmacist that was there (I believe his name was David) that he hopes NO ONE ever fills my prescription and he doesn't care what I have to say and walked away. That is the behavior of someone in middle school not someone I would want filling my prescriptions anyway. I know why they contInue to loose good techs and pharmacist, it is because of the immature and nasty behavior by 98% of the staff. People work to hard to be treated that way. There are checks and balances for everything and riteaid should understand these employees are a massive liability and give the company a horrible image. A pharmacist should oh had enough schooling to have common sense and do the proper due diligence before not only denying something but doing it in a down right nasty manor which makes customer feel like criminals. I would urge as many people as possible to find a new pharmacy or at least let rite aid know how Horrible you have been treated or how many prescriptions you have had filled incorrectly. read more

I will never go back there again. The employees are rude. I'm a 32 year old woman and I went in there to buy a case a beer for a party me and my husband were hosting. I was buying the beer but because my husband went in the store with me and didn't have his license with him they wouldn't sell us the beer. Never in my life have I heard of such ridiculous "rules". Not to mention that my husband had been in there and bought beer numerous times so it's not like the woman there had never seen him before. He's 35 years old too it's not like he's barely 21. If they are going to card everyone then they should card EVERYONE. There was a man ahead of us in line that they didn't card at all! That's discrimination. So because I may look young for me age you have to card me and not him? On top of all that I decided to give it one more try so I went back to this store to buy a wine & I guess they were having a problem or something but they were only accepting cash. I did not see a sign on the outside of the doorway in the entrance stating that so after I drive there, parked my car and walked inside picked up my wine all to find out I couldn't get it...AGAIN?!?!? I then saw the one employee girl putting a "cash only" sign INSIDE the doorway. Wouldn't she think to put it on the outside so people could see it loud & clear before they decided to park their car & walk in? And after all that I didn't even get an "I'm sorry" from an employee at the counter. She could have cared less. I will never be back to this place to purchase beer or any alcoholic beverage of any substance. They have lost my business as well as my husbands & I'm sure there will be more people who feel the way I do. So what rite aide liquors is a couple dollars less than other liquor stores. I would rather pay a couple extra bucks for good service then to waste anymore of my gas or time driving there! read more
