Brittany did a fantastic job, especially for being a first time client! She did a great partial highlight, and took time to give me a good style-out! Usually I have to go home and re-wash/style after paying for the same service, but not this time. I was able to walk out and finish my day confident my hair looked good. My only issue might be using Jess product next time. Too much tends to weigh my hair down and leave it looking like 3rd or 4th day hair on day 2. But overall, great service, Brittany! read more

I have been going here to Kristin (the owner) for many years. I go here for cuts and color. She is amazing. I am super picky- aren't we all when it comes to our hair?! But she always does an amazing job. I have thick naturally curly hair that I wear straight and she always blow drys it straight for me and then uses the flat iron. I really appreciate this because a lot of salons will not take these extra steps even when asked. She is excellent with color and covering up grays. I came in expecting my stylist to do my hair start to finish., She was late by 20 minutes and then rushed putting the color on me and it literally took her 15 minutes tops. Then she had me move to another chair to sit there for 30 minutes while she did another clients hair. Then a different stylist rinsed me out and I had chunks of color still in my hair under my neck. I let her know and she rinsed it out. She styled my hair and I never saw my original stylist the rest of the appointment. I moved to Weld County recently and needed a new hairstylist. I really lucked out and found a great one! Alicia at Rituals Salon in Loveland Co. She is an extremely talented and hilarious stylist, so the time goes by quickly and my hair looks amazing. It's a cute little shop with very talented staff and it's an Aveda salon, fully stocked with a wonderful product! If you're a little uneasy about going out during this pandemic, as I am, this salon is very socially conscientious. Masks, temp checks, and frequent hand washing and sanitizing. Social distancing is better than expected, considering you have to be close to someone to have your hair worked on, but they stagger staff and limit the customers in the shop. This used to be a great salon, but that's no longer the case. I made an appointment for a cut and color, and the stylist, who clearly lacked experience, did a lack-luster color, which cost me over $100.00. Then, she didn't even cut my hair. I clearly asked her to do a cut/trim before she did the color. Worst of all, the owner/manager was condescending as hell when I called to voice my complaint. Do not go to this salon, there are many great salons in Fort Collins, just a few miles away. read more

Went to see Lindsey to bring my hair from brunette to a light pink. She took her time with me and kept a close eye on my hair for the bleaching process, while also using certain products to keep the integrity of my hair intact. The end result is beautiful and I am very happy with it. I will also mention that I was offered peach-flavored water and also a wax/lotion treatment for my hands while I waited for my hair to process (something I was never offered at a salon before). The environment here is warm and relaxing - everyone is very nice and welcoming. This is a great place. Definitely recommend. read more

I've gone here for a few years and they are always great! Last time, I had Sophie and she was excellent. They also let you have free paraffin dip on your hands and it's my favorite part. I only usually get a trim, so I'm not sure what their coloring process is like, but in other aspects, I highly recommend them! read more

My hair is coarse and fairly unmanageable, plus has uneven graying. Darker underneath. Hard to fight it to be one color. So Michelle suggested a trendy look with dark under and lighter on top. Plus she thinned it. Not only am I able to quickly whip it into shape myself, the color is great, I get tons of compliments and I love it. Everyone is friendly, the place is cute and clean, and you get a warm wax hand treatment. While I was there ( twice now ) I saw several ladies and a couple of guys hairstyles and color treatments and all looked great. Definitely 5 stars. read more

This is my all-time favorite place to get a haircut ever! All the stylists are fantastic! It's super affordable, and the extra treatment they give you is exceptional. I can get a scalp massage, hands dipped in paraffin wax, hair shampooed before and after the haircut all for $22! I was sorely disappointed today with my stylist. I used to see Bethany, but she has left the salon, I ended up seeing someone who "was available" but not for the whole appointment. I was looking forward to this appointment since I haven't had a cut for 18 months due to Covid. My stylist spent approximately 15 minutes with me, washed and trimmed about 1-1/2 inches off my hair. Never layered the area I requested. She then handed me off to the...........receptionist, stylist in training? to "style" my hair. That turned out to be a basic blow dry..........I usually wear my hair short and layered but decided to keep the length for awhile so I know there wasn't much for her to do, but ignoring my request for layering and handing me off to someone else to finish just made me feel like she had no interest in me as a client. All of this for the low, low price of $75 plus a $15 tip. I feel she was more interested in taking care of her other client who was getting a more expensive service. We were the only two in the salon, so its not like she was overwhelmed with customers. read more

I actually would like to give them zero stars. I just moved here from Wyoming, where I had a great stylist. I thought I was going back to see her, but had to cancel and my hair grows fast! So, I called Rituals to make an appointment for a cut. I was given an appointment for Tuesday at 2:30 pm. I called them about noon Tuesday to verify the exact minute I was supposed to show up, however; I was told that, while my name and number was in the system, I had NO active appointments scheduled. Further, she told me they had "filled up fast" that Tuesday, and they no longer had an appointment available. She said she didn't know what happened, and I couldn't get another appointment for days. What disgusts me most is no one called to apologize or do anything to try to win back my business. I am going to the Centerra Aveda, I guess. I came from Wyoming specifically to get my hair cut, colored and eyebrows waxed at Rituals Salon for the first time today. Rachel did a fabulous job! I love my cut! The color was spot on. She really goes out of her way to make you feel welcome and provided me with great customer service. She did 2 extra services that will have done again! The shop is very clean, well lit, and had a good parking lot in the back. She made sure that I got my point's on a Aveda card that I had purchased in California! If all that wasn't enough she gave me a card good for 25% off of my next service, that I already booked! read more

What a disappointment. My hair is breaking off in pieces. My haircut is jagged and so uneven I've worn it pinned/ tied up for weeks now. I went to another aveda in Denver for extensive hair restoration and it's helping but I still feel so ashamed to see people in public. I've cried and cried and I know it won't change what I see but I just want you all to know that rituals ruined my hair and my self esteem. The salon itself is cute, but I did note to myself that it was quite dirty and that right there should have been my cue to run for the hills. I am an older woman with short natural curly hair. With a good hair cut, my hair is wash and go. I have never had much a horrible cut. My hair looks like a dinner plate was placed on my head and then cut around. No blending or styling at all. Very rushed stylist. It shows. I had my hair and makeup done at Rituals for my wedding. My stylist was Tiffany and she was absolutely fantastic. Seriously, I cannot say enough good things about her. She listened and gave me exactly what I wanted, even when I changed my mind a few times. There were also several times that I left decisions up to her and told her to do what she thought would look good and she made amazing choices each time and I absolutely loved what she did. I was only scheduled for one hair and makeup trial, and then the day-of, but she was able to squeeze me in when I got second thoughts about my makeup a week before the wedding, so I was able to get a second makeup trial. And, on top of all this, she was super friendly and awesome to talk to! I found the prices to be extremely reasonable and I absolutely loved the way I looked. One of the things I appreciated the most was when, on the day of my wedding, Tiffany was 100% devoted to making me look as beautiful as possible, but I ultimately felt unsure about my hairdo, so I very nervously went back to the salon to ask her if she could fix one part of it, and Tiffany said it was absolutely no problem, she didn't feel insulted at all, and that it was an easy fix. Within 5 minutes I was back out the door and my hair was perfect. I really, really appreciated that, since I felt so bad for asking her to fix something after she had done such an amazing job, so the fact that she fixed it perfectly and wasn't upset about it at all was really great.
