They also sent me a cabinet that did not fit the dimensions I provided in the design stage (too big). When I brought this to their attention, they told me I should use a saw to cut the front face of the new cabinet to fix their mistake. They also provided trim that did not fit my design. I ended up buying the base trim at Home Depot because I could not get them to even call me back. Most discouraging of all, even infuriating at times, was the fact that they would not return my phone calls. I called several times and was told they would speak to a particular person and get back to me but never did. When I left messages for the person I worked with in the design stage, she did not return my calls. The company, as a whole, seemed to have no concern that their errors delayed my kitchen rehab project for more than a week, which is extremely disruptive for a family without a functional kitchen. I feel that once they were paid for the order, they had no interest in providing any further service, despite the multiple errors they made with the order. Buyer beware people.

When we priced everything out the cost ended up being the same as going with a fully custom local cabinet maker. They also had a painted door made for us 2 years ago to check the look of the door and told us it would be $100 if we ended up not going with them. We had to delay our project and picked up the door earlier this year after they got to use it for 2 years as a floor model and Lucy mentioned it had been damaged during that time. When I returned the door and informed Lucy that we were going with another cabinet maker Lucy said it was damaged and said she'd reduce the $400 (!!!) cost of the door to $150 to be "fair". Worst of all, she was condescending and accused me of using the door for another cabinet maker to copy the design which is not the case. We went elsewhere due to cost, better customization, and better customer service. If you're considering semi-customer cabinets, you can get full custom local made cabinets for the price Northeast charges. If you're considering stock cabinets you would get a much better customer service experience at Caroles (https://www.kitchenpeople.com/), we also considered Carole's and would have gone with them if we hadn't decided to go fully custom.

They had someone come out and measure then we went down to the showroom and picked out some samples to bring home to see how they looked in the space. We picked out a carpet and they scheduled the install once the carpet came in. The showroom is stocked with a great variety of samples that you can bring home. The staff at the showroom was very knowledgeable about the products but didn't offer much interior design & style advice. As long as you are willing to decide the style for yourself I would recommend them completely!
