Run from this scam company. They sent me the wrong item after waiting over 3 weeks for my order. I immediately returned the garbage they sent me and they received it on 2/19 and as on 2/27 have received NO refund. They took no accountability for their mistake and blamed it on a new, untrained employee. Apparently their customers/victims have to pay the price, literally and figuratively. They have my hard earned $87 and nothing to show for it. They'll pay for it in the end. Companies who do business like this will always crumble. Its more like Unchic River Mafia. They didn't issue a review until I filed a complaint with Affirm over a month after they received their incorrect, substandard products back. I have since engaged with the owner and realized that they are a growing company going through some growing pains and are trying very hard to manage the customer service aspect of their business. I ordered 2 Christmas globes- one of Santa in a truck and one of Santa in a camper. Somehow through a glitch, the truck was duplicated and I received 2 and was charged for 2 Santa in a truck Christmas globes. When they arrived I didn't even take the duplicate out of the box and immediately looked at River Chic Designs refund policy. Their policy states that I have to contact them within 30 days to initiate a return. This was no problem because it was literally the day I received the item. I emailed them, no response. I called and left messages, no response. I send them Facebook messages, no response. I completed their website form, no response. I have repeated these measures for the past 30 days with no response. I order the circular tilted pitcher in October total cost $70+ What I received in November was a container of carpet deoderizer. There is no way I ordered this as I am currently living with relatives and my house that is being built has no carpets. I've tried to contact them twice from their website with no response. Not worth the money they are very expensive mine came all cracked and I can't even smell them

I was gifted a bowl candle a about a year ago, and its lovely. What is spectacular is that the refill kits they sell are absolutely worth it. They are easy to use and there are a variety of scents. I will also say that I may be the least crafty person on the planet, and yet even I can follow the included directions and refill my candle bowl. I recently just placed my 2nd refill order from the company and while shipping does take a while ( i think this is just the world we live in) I ended up with a post office mix up. I emailed the company and they quickly responded to me, on a Saturday no less, and give me a few options of what to do next. The correspondence was professional and helpful. In the end it all worked out and I will continue to be a customer because there products are wonderful, and they customer service is good too. read more

Shipping is terrible and ridiculously long for being in the US. No sense of urgency or ability to put the customer first. Have been purchasing refill kits for over a year and its clear from the last few orders that they switched their wax as it burns ridiculously fast. A candle used to last a few weeks/month while burning an entire evening every night. Now a kit will only last 3-4 days. My order never changed, just their product. Intend to start making my own refills for 1/2 the price with a long burning wax and scents as a result, and am not happy about having to do it but the cheap wax they are now using is terrible. read more

Worst customer service experience ever! My interactions with the team at River Chic designs was disrespectful. It took over a month to receive my order and it was short. When i called and emailed them all I received was excuses stating we are growing ... Honestly they never said sorry we will get that out to you asap.
