Toscoga Market place is one of my favorite stores in Thomasville. It is 3 floors of unique home decor, antiques and vintage treasures. The store is always decorated beautifully. Given an unlimited budget, I could go absolutely crazy :-) My two star rating is based on the staff. My husband and I have been in many times and have always felt that the staff is unfriendly and unwelcoming. When we popped in on Thursday, we walked into a room with many employees who were assembling what appeared to be a bed. Not one of them said hello to us. No one even acknowledged we were even in the store. In a customer service/sales position, it's not only your job to make the store beautiful but to also make your customers feel welcomed. A warm hello or just eye contact and a head nod would go along way. read more

Toscoga Marketplace - This seems a bit much - Antiques Near Me - Thomasville, Georgia

We recently left home due to an unexpected hurricane. Visiting Toscoga was one of the highlights of our trip! The three floors of Toscoga are visually beautiful and the items are unique and high-end. The quality is high and prices reflect fairly. Unlike other reviews, we found the staff very friendly and we were even given an outstanding recommendation for local lunch (you must try Savannah Moon)! This is my absolute favorite place to spend an afternoon. There is so much to see; beautiful stylish furniture downstairs and two levels of gorgeous antiques upstairs! A multi-story antique mall in downtown Thomasville and a very fun way to spend a few afternoon hours. Visiting should definitely be included on your Thomasville itinerary. I've been to many antique malls, and this one has plenty of unique and quality items, from old books to awesome art-deco/retro 50s/60s/70s appliances, furnishings, and housewares. Many of the "booths" are surprisingly uniform in their theme, from a military booth to a western booth, and so forth. Some prices are a bit high, not surprising given the rather upscale nature of modern downtown Thomasville, but there are also plenty of cool items you'd love to have that can be found at a reasonable price. read more

Best antique mall in the region, would be hard to leave without taking something home.

Rudest service I have ever seen from a place. They obviously didn't want my business. They knew we were upstairs and they shut the lights off while we were up there. There were no windows and no lights! Seriously? I had to turn in my flashlight on my phone to find the stairs. They close at 530 and they shut the lights off at 530 even though they knew customers were in the store. Rude and apathetic! I am sure they have an excuse but really, there is none for this behavior. read more

Stopped here on vacation and may have to go back with a moving truck. Several floors of beautiful antiques, iron light fixtures, as well as unique floral and driftwood pieces. Also some beautiful tables made out of the most unique pieces of wood I've ever seen. Show room is set up with eclectic mix of antiques and one of a kind items. We enjoyed just walking through the store. Agree with previous review that some items are a bit pricey, and considering the quality and variety of the items, can't really say unreasonable. I went with my 17yr-old son today on a day trip to T-ville. We had a ball browsing though the different stalls. There were items of all different genres, decades and centuries. Pricing is independent according to each booth/stall/store owner and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I will be returning!! read more

My husband and I are from out of town. When we entered the store no one even said hello. That makes me wonder if that is the way they do business from the start! They do have nice things for sale but a pleasant and helpful attitude toward customers might even encourage a person to buy. We left the store feeling as if our presence did not matter to them one bit! The best place to look for antiques and collectables. You would not believe how affordable this place is. And the staff are awesome. I was looking for a dining room set, and while looking in furniture stores, the prices were outrageous. $2000 just for a table. And furniture now days is so cheaply made. I found a antique Mahoney complete set_9 pieces for only 1500! It is so well made that I will be able to pass it down to my children! So excited! You have to check it out! read more
