The man who checked us out was friendly and shared some funny stories. The store also has a large area for board and card games, but I didn't spend much time in those sections. They were large, clean, and well stocked. The back issues were varied and cheap. There wasn't very many that were super old, but they were all in good to great condition and the newer ones were in new condition. Great shop, great atmosphere. If I lived anywhere near here, I would be spending a lot of time in the store.

We came over on a weekend where a car/motorcycle show was going on and it made the experience a little more palatable, but overall, the mall has definitely seen better days. Not a terrible place to kill an hour running around, but a tough spot to find much more than the basics.

The home decor and clothing sections are as equally beautiful, as they are dangerous...because you will literally want to buy everything if you take a walk through. If this Target didn't exist in Mason City, I'm not sure I would have made it through living here. Also, as far as the pandemic goes, Target has been ahead of the ball game per usual. All of the employees have been wearing masks for quite some time, and I'm happy to see customers are now having to wear them as well. They also moved the carts and scooters from away from the front entrances so you have to do a bit of walking, and for us disabled it's even more difficult and seems like half their scooters are no longer available.
