All of the employees have been wearing masks for quite some time, and I'm happy to see customers are now having to wear them as well. We came over on a weekend where a car/motorcycle show was going on and it made the experience a little more palatable, but overall, the mall has definitely seen better days. I've asked about it before, and the employees seem like they're at least trying to figure it out, but it has been multiple months now, and I think this is the second time this year it has happened. They're usually decently busy, so sometimes I'll see somebody running around the store putting things away or doing something else, and then there's somebody else up front. Other times I'll only see one person in the whole store. I don't know how they keep this place running as is, so hopefully they at least get breaks once in a while. As a dollar store, I'd say it's rather mediocre, but definitely better than some of the others in town. Sometimes the stock runs a little low, and Pokémon is basically always gone, but I mean, it's a dollar store, so I can't really expect too much. I assume they'd have limits or something, but it's kind of aggravating that they don't. I know I've seen somebody come in before me and buy 20 packs. I figured I should probably mention the staff too since I saw another review doing that. I've been coming here for a while, so I usually say hello to the people working and talk to them a little bit when I'm checking out. Jace is probably one of the people I've talked to the most here. Pretty much every time I come in and they're there, we end up chatting for a bit. They're pretty nice and probably one of my favorite employees here. More often than not, though, when I come in, they're running around the store putting things away or trying to get something done, so I don't know how they manage to keep up with everything. Then there's the older Shawn. They can seem a little intimidating when you first meet them since they're a decently large guy, but they're actually pretty friendly once you talk to them. I don't interact with them quite as much. Usually, when it comes to them, I prefer to get what I need and leave, but I don't mind chatting if they start a conversation. They're not a bad person. I've seen the younger Shawn only a couple of times, but they haven't ever been an issue. I can't really comment since I haven't met them very much, but I've never had a bad experience with them, thankfully. There is Rocky, I believe that's their name. I've interacted with them a few times and really can't say there was anything particular to note. It's nice to interact with them, and I've never had a problem. They just weren't particularly remarkable to me, and sometimes that happens, especially since I've probably dealt with like 30 different employees here. I'm mostly just recalling the ones I've been seeing more frequently recently. I've seen a decent chunk of people over time. The big names I have here are just kind of the ones I've been seeing repeatedly for the last month or two. I know there are a few others, like Lisa, who was a decent gal, but I think she quit because I haven't seen her in a while. There was also one older gal who was great to talk to, and I remember her talking about quitting too, so it was kind of a shame to see her go. There was one larger lady I met at one point as well. I'm not a big fan of them, but I only ever saw them once, so thank God. There was also one gal with dark hair who was kind of rude in a tired sort of way, but I haven't seen her in months, so I wasn't super inclined to say much about her. I think her name was Sierra. Then there was one more blonde girl, but I'm blanking because it's been a minute since I've seen her as well. Maybe I'll come back and edit the review if I can remember her name. I did see the other review mentioning hygiene. Personally, I've never had an issue with the staff in that regard. I'm also not exactly going around smelling employees, so I can't really speak for everything, but they do run around quite a bit. Half the time I come up to the register, whoever is there seems to have just come from the other side of the store. Or I actively have to wait a minute while they walk across to me. I think the longest I've ever waited is maybe five minutes, which was a little aggravating. I know they used to have a button on the register so the wait times used to be smaller, but I don't know why they got rid of that. If we get that back I feel like I could bump the review up to at least A 4 So I'm not waiting almost every other time I'm coming in Overall, I'd give it a 3/5. There are definitely things that could be better, especially the freezer situation, but I've never really had a bad experience here.
