Marissa came highly recommended and I was easily able to make an online appointment with her the same week! Once I filled out some basic online info regarding my dog and signed a consent, all communication was confirmed through texts and email. Loved and appreciated the reminders regarding the appointment. Marissa arrived promptly within the time slot chosen. Our dog, Kahlua, spent a little over an hour in the mobile van getting groomed. After he was done, he looked like an entirely different dog! Of course in a very good way, he was one hot mess prior and we had nicknamed him fur bomb lol The grooming included bath, dry, cut, ear/eye cleaning , nail trim, and external anal gland expression. Afterwards, he smelled fabulous too! She spritzed him with a bit of some good smelling stuff. Marissa was super sweet, friendly, answered all our questions, and had a wonderful demeanor with Kahlua. Didn't take her back, but decided that since they now had a shop, why not try again. After all, it had been a year since that mishap. I took my dog in and immediately the groomer started talking about her tail and the part closest to her bottom being matted. My dogs tail is straight as opposed to the rest of her body which is very curly. I have to comb it out every few days because of how straight it is and I told her that she doesn't like her tail being messed with very much because of it. Fast forward, I got a text message saying she was nipping at her bottom while she was trying to groom it and it was a little matted. She stated she would have to shave it. I did not see the text immediately, but when I did I responded asking her if she meant the bottom part. She then told me she shaved the whole thing!!! I was confused but thought ok because surely she didn't shave all that straight hair off. So to avoid any confusion I asked if she was almost done, she tells me another 45 minutes. I go to pick up my dog and she had no hair on her tail, no fluffy tail what so ever. It was completely shaved down like when she was a brand new puppy. I was shocked. And once again, her head looked ridiculous. The back was cut super low and a weird looking patch was left at the top. Not rounded like I asked but lopsided. I just took my dog and left rather than make a scene. What should've happened is she should've called and discussed the tail issue with me first before she decided to just shave it all off. I would've told her, like I did when I went in there she doesn't like her tail being done, to just leave it and I'll deal with it after the groom. But when I responded to her text she had already cut it off. In the 2 yrs that I've had my dog, I've never has one groomer do that, despite how difficult she is around the tail.. NOT ONE.. they've literally left it alone and explained ro me why if she was being difficult or it was a little matter and I was cool with that. 2nd time and last time for fluff butts!

From the beginning, Tabitha was excellent. She listened to my concerns and guided me to what I could do for my dog's hair. Mickey did a great job too. I love how personal it felt when I dropped off my dogs. They took the time to explain everything to me. The place is nice and clean. One of my dogs is a five month old puppy and this was her first time getting her haircut. Tabitha did great and was able to do a full haircut on her. Prices are reasonable. They have great hours and even are open Late in the day. Please support your local businesses. I will definitely pass the word around about this business as they did a great job with my dogs.

I understand there is limited staff, and I realize they have to turn their attention to other customers and tasks, but I would have liked to watch our dog more through the back windows before committing to leaving her there for the day. I'm guessing there were between 70 and 100 dogs in the play area, and most seemed well-adjusted and content. However, it seemed a bit much, and I wouldn't feel comfortable leaving our dog there. She loves playing but could not connect with any specific dog and was overwhelmed by the many dogs showing interest in her. We watched for at most 10 minutes, and the whole time, she was looking to hide, running from the other dogs with her tail between her legs. The staff was present, monitoring behavior and cleaning up, so the issue for me is the number of dogs, not the staff. I asked if there was a maximum number of dogs they allowed, and without a yes or no, I was told the number of kennels they had, which was over 250. The kennels can hold more than one dog at a time, so it's feasible that 300 dogs could be there if all the kennels were full. The kennels are in a climate-controlled warehouse-type area with individual chain-link "suites" and the regular areas. The difference is a little more square footage, and a webcam comes with the suite. I'd summarize this place as the big box store of doggy daycares where you'll get everything you need, but not necessarily the best experience for the pet. This review is based on my personal experience. I am not seeking a refund, to be made whole again, or for changes to be made. It is simply informative.
