I'm a beginner on the links and that's potentially why I like this course. It's very laid back, no judgement on my horrible skills. The club house itself is more of a pole barn with a bar but it serves its purpose. Nothing about about this place is fancy. The bathrooms (specifically women's) is rather subpar though. I felt like it was a pretty inexpensive course. The greens seem to hold on to moisture though. It hadn't rained for quite some time before my last trip there but some areas were pretty soggy. I played the full 18 and I like the back 9 much better than the first. Mainly because there were less people. Seems like most the crowd just hits the first 9. They have a lot of course monitors on the first 9 too, not sure their purpose they never engaged with us but once we hit the back no one around. I'm probably not the most worthy reviewer of a golf course since I'm a newbie but good for an afternoon of fun and learning. read more

Love the course. We love that it's open for 10 and up. And it's a great course set for everybody!

Myself and two of my girlfriends decided to play here on a Saturday morning as beginners. One of the older rangers offered us refunds if we left to go back to the driving range. He said we missed too many swings and were not keeping up with the pace of play. However, at each hole we waited about 5-10 minutes as the whole course was backed up. We asked the players in front and behind us if they were told anything similar and they said no and that we were playing at a good pace. We were the only group of women on the course and the only ones asked to leave. I would not recommend this course to beginners or women as they do not want you golfing on their course. read more

Godly bad. Trains every 30 minutes. Big mud puddles in fairways. All the workers have a something loose in their brain.

Old ass worker there was sexist towards the one girl in the group of teens. They were respectfully playing and not holding up the line of golfers behind them yet the worker kicked the group out and refused to refund them, wouldn't even let them finish the first hole. Followed them around the entire time until they got kicked out minutes later. Do not go here, there's a much nicer place down the road. They also don't respect ANY new players such as kids and parents who want to learn the activity. They talk down of you if you're not perfect. And the old ass man needs to be fired or put in a home. read more

I've played this course about 30 times and first things first, you pay $30 for 18 holes with a cart. Are you expecting it to be a course like you see on TV? If you are then you're an idiot. The course is perfect for anyone just wanting to go hit their clubs without breaking the bank because you will be hard pressed to find anything in the area under $55. Now the front 9 a little rough and it's fairly narrow between holes but it's a solid course. Sure they aren't maintained like a top tier course but you're still getting a chance to go out and play. The back 9 however are in much much better shape. Compared to the front it's like an entirely different course, lots of room left to right and the fairways/greens are in better shape. Theres no tee times which is actually nice if you're an early golfer because after about 8am they start to get packed! The owner or manager (not sure of his title) has been nice. Little rough around the edges but he hasn't bothered me at all. Overall this place is perfect for anyone just looking to go play and have fun. read more

Horrible people who work here complete nut job as the club pro trying to teach everyone a lesson . Would never rec the course is horrible as it is i only was going bc it was cheap but that was still a waste of money just spend more and don't go here . read more

Love playing here. Only play it once a year at the HEROES CARE tournament. But its a great atmosphere and the people are very friendly. Its not a difficult course. If you are a new player and want to post better scores this course is great. The greens are well taken care of as well. Look forward to playing it again this year. read more

Well, it's a golf course. Maybe a touch over priced. It's on the flood plain so there's little in the way of elevation change anywhere. Check your yardages! Some of the holes are not what they claim. read more

The course itself is in rough shape. The tee boxes and fairways are beat up pretty badly and the greens are either super slick or have no roll to them whatsoever. The course itself is fairly flat which is common for the area that it's in. The price to play is a bit high. Fair warning as I honestly haven't experienced this anywhere else, but if you're paying with a card, they will charge you more so make sure to bring cash. The yardage markers on the scorecard are not accurate across the course so check your yardage as mentioned in previous review and do not go strictly off that. My second biggest complaint next to the condition of the course honestly is the pace. This is a busy course which would be fine if they implemented tee times. We had a ranger come over to our group of 4 who were playing scramble mode and ask us to pick up the pace several times, yet we were constantly waiting behind 3 groups of 4 playing their own respective shots. Now I'm not going to say that's wrong because they paid just as much as I did to play the course, but kind of odd that we were asked to pick it up whilst every hole once we'd finish, we'd wait a solid 15 minutes again before being able to tee off. I asked the ranger why they don't implement tee times and he said it's not how they want to do business. So I'm assuming having people angrily wait 15 minutes to tee off every hole is better than implementing tee times to these people. Will not be back unfortunately because I was looking forward to playing based off some of the reviews I had read elsewhere. read more
