My sisters, mom, and I came here to get our nails done. We didn't schedule it in advance or anything so we weren't all able to get it done at the same time or really get to sit next to each other. The place is clean and simple, and the staff was alright. My girl somehow knew that I lifted weights when she was doing my manicure. It was quite impressive. If I could give this place 0 stars I literally would, whoever the cracked out women who did my nails was claimed to be here for the entirety of its existence. Then she argued with me over the colors of polish I wanted to use. Which ended up with me having a neon pallet vs the clear pastel one in the picture I showed her. Then when the color was literally traffic cone orange and I asked her to fix it, she claimed she couldn't at this point, I told her I know she can(in a very nice way actually cuz social anxiety but I wish I would've been harsh), so she half brushed it off, then put a pastel orange over it. And had the nerve to tell me the traffic come orange was what I asked for. It literally was not, she told me it would look nicer and I only saw it in its light powdered form so I said "ok" because I was done arguing with her. Needless to say she ruined my nails, it's literally been months later and my nails still peel off easily and have an indentation. And my nails are just insanely trashed all around. I have been coming here to get my nails done now for about 3 years. They do the best job. My shellac manicure lasts at least four weeks every single time. No chips. Ever. The people who work here are also fun to be around, they joke around with myself and each other and provide a relaxing experience. In my opinion, Sara does the best job with shellac manicures because she really takes her time and is a perfectionist but I've gotten them from others and they do a great job too. read more

I would never recommend this place to ANYONE! They have the worst customer service ever! I went in looking to get a full set of gel nails, when I got there the lady at the front desk greeted me and asked me what I wanted to get done I was debating between two different styles so I asked her to show me what they had for colored tips and she handed me a couple trays with colored tips in them. One of them wasn't closed properly and the tips fell out, it was a complete accident and I apologized to the lady like 5 different times ! She then proceeded to look very angry and started speaking in another language to another nail tech. I sort of ignored it and continued to ask her another question, she completely ignored me and continued speaking another language to the other nail tech I got a little frustrated she looked up at me with an angry face and continued to speak another language. One of the nail techs came up to me and said she was ready to start on my nails I was so frustrated with the lady at the front desk I said no thank you and walked out, as I was walking out the lady at the front desk looked at me a mumbled something In another language. I was so mad I had never been treated so badly in a nail Salon! This was a couple months ago, so recently I decided is give them one last try I called into the salon asked about Pricing and let the lady know I would be coming in with someone else, I got to the salon 30 min before they closed (I had got out of work late) and the same lady at the front desk looked at me and told me she had already closed her drawer, I let her know I had just called and she said she couldn't do anything about it and that they only had time for one person! Now I've worked in the mall before for a long time and it's against mall policy to close your store down before 9pm. The lady was rude once again and we just left. I do NOT recommend this place and although all this may not seem like a big deal, the way I was treated was NOT professional in anyway and I just can NOT get over how rude they were to me. I have never had such a bad customer service experience, nor have I felt the need to write a customer service review before this point. I will preface this by saying three things: 1) I worked in the service industry for 3 years as a host and server so I understand the difficulties of customer service 2) I can be picky, but I pay extremely well 3) I have had my nails done for years (I have even had them done at beauty schools) and I have never had an experience this bad. To begin, when I walked into the salon there everyone was busy working on other customers so I was asked to wait. I put my name on the waiting list with my cell phone number so they could call me when they had an open slot. I went back to the salon after browsing the mall for an hour (I was told it would be 30 minutes, but never received a call). The woman who seemed to be organizing customers and managing the store told me that when I didn't come within the thirty minutes, she started on another customer. Even though I thought they should have called, I wasn't that perturbed because I wasn't in a huge rush. I will note that I really like the way the store was designed (very modern and friendly). When my cosmetologist (the same one who was running the store) sat down to do my nails, I told her I wanted to cut and fill my pink and white gel nails. She seemed to take issue when I said I wanted to fill both the white and pink, which I understand can be difficult. Nonetheless, she filed my old nails down and started filling the white. After the first nail, I told her I would like to have more of the white than she was using. She did not seem to agree with my request so I asked for her opinion. She didn't think I should have more white, so I took her opinion and had her continue. After the second nail, I told her I really wanted more white. She then filled over half of my nail with white. She was acting extremely rude and irritated at this point and told me I was a difficult customer. I said sorry, but I still told her there was too much white. I kept trying to point out where I wanted her to cut the white gel, but she wouldn't even look where I was pointing and would not fix it. I don't understand why my request was so out of the ordinary; I was just trying to tell her how much white I wanted on the tips of my nails, but she refused to listen to what I wanted. She then started being really rough with her electric tools. It got to the point where I had to asked her to stop working on my pinky finger, because it was burning where she had repeatedly touched my skin with the electric filer. She also began speaking across the room to her other co-workers in another language (obviously about me and the situation). I found this to be extremely rude and I felt very uncomfortable. Even if she wanted to complain to them, she could have at least waited until I left. By the time we got to my second hand she started asking me where I would like the white to be cut off. I then asked her to fix my first hand, because there was double the amount of white tip on my first hand than my second hand. She said it was too late. By this point, we were both frustrated. She told me I was the worst and pickiest customer she had ever had (Who says that to a customer???). I told her I had never had anyone in customer service treat me the way she was treating me. I said I would never return and she told me that she wouldn't do my nails if I returned. As she did my second hand, she was obviously extremely rough and careless. The white tips on a few fingers are lopsided and uneven. I have pictures I would upload if I could figure out how. To try to even my nails, she tried to file the nails on the first hand to shorten the white to match the second hand, but at this point it was too late to fix. In the end, I left with three stinging fingers and completely uneven nails. It looks like I tried to do them myself, which is why I pay for professionals to do them. The worker who did my nails at this salon was not a professional in any form of the word. I know it seems petty to be so angry about ruined nails, but I am extremely angry with the way I was treated with the obvious lack of friendliness, customer service and the poor quality of the finished product. I have never been treated and talked to with such disrespect from someone at a nail salon .. over all the salon didn't seem bad .. I just got a lazy old worker WARNING do not let the old woman with no bottom teeth do your nails .. she needs glasses and they still weren't enough... way too far sided to be doing Percision work.. she kept telling me not to look at my nails and said if i did it wouldn't be her fault for cutting me.. 30 seconds later she nicks me with the tool and i almost got up and walked out .. I have been having my nails done here now for about a year, maybe longer, and never walk away unsatisfied. The whole staff is courteous and are very apologetic if you have to wait, even though it isn't their fault. Their work is consistent, and professionally done. If you need a nail repolished because you screw up and hit it against something, THEY apologize and redo it without hesitation. I always have a fill (gel) and shellac color done. Very good work, love the gentlemen at the first table as you walk in the door (I apologize for not remembering his name...I am terrible with names) and will wait for him if I have to. By far the worst shellac & pedicure experience o have had. I could have painted my toenails better than she did. The shellac was no exception...polish all over my cuticles, only did one coat of the color and started filing my nails after the top coat which of course only made it worse. Got my nails done today and was horrified. I had shellac on to begin with and instead of soaking my nails to get the shellac off, she ripped it all off and DESTROYED my real nails. You could tell she was rushing through the appointment and kept checking her watch and phone. She answered many texts and also made a phone call while doing my nails. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone! The lady who did my nails was extremely rude and unprofessional! I went to beauty school, so I know the proper steps for a manicure. And this lady completely skipped the first half. I think because I said it was my first time getting a "professional" manicure, she thought I wouldn't know the difference. She completely skipped cuttings nails, and didnt soak them, or do a hand massage. She went straight to gluing tips on and when she asked me if the length was okay, she didn't even give me a chance to answer. She just went ahead and did whatever she wanted to do. Also, throughout my manicure, she kept answering her phone, checking her watch, and talking to the other employes in another language.. I just felt so uncomfortable. And I feel like she was so unprofessional, and all she wanted to do was get it done as fast as possible. I couldn't even communicate with her because I could barley understand her. One of my nails has already fallen off because my nail underneath it got so long that it peeled apart from the acrylic nail.. Worst experience! I had been going to River Nail Spa for my last 5 fills, was an OK salon. My friend gets pink and white very few people do those, so I continued to go there. We made our appointment for 12:30 we show up at 12:20 and they told us to walk around. They didn't call us until 12:40. They started to work on her nails but didn't start on my until 1:30!!! This was an hour late. On top of that the guy who was doing my nails then told me to sit in another chair for someone else to finish my fill! This way he could start on someone else. I already said I wouldn't go there again after this. Now my nail is chipped! After only two days.. STAY AWAY!!!! read more
