I looked online and randomly picked the closest wrecker service to me. Fortunately, it happened to be "Haul it All Towing". Three men including the owner came to our rescue. They spent an hour or so devising a way to put the boat on their truck. They offered to haul it back to their shop and store it until we were able to secure parts. Turns out we had to replace the whole axle. The owner, Gavin, recommend I try Lawrimore's Trailer in Falkville, AL. They had a perfect match that I was able to secure. Gavin insisted they put the axle on for me. I honestly didn't think we would ever get our boat home, but we did and we have "Haul it All Towing" to thank. These guys are hero's! Warning: Avoid A+ Towing!…read more I need to share a terrible experience to help protect others from a dishonest business. Yesterday, after a rear-end collision on Hwy 36 and 231, I had A+ Towing come to move my truck to Gerber Collision in Somerville. Their dispach/owner (256-758-2776) quoted me $75 for the tow and said Gerber would take care of the bill directly. Today, A+ Towing went back on their word and is now demanding $975 from Gerber Collision. They are trying to add fraudulent charges to the bill, including "winch charges" even though my truck was on the road, not in a ditch. They are also billing for "cleanup charges" even though they never cleaned up anything--they just hooked up the truck and left. When Gerber Collision told them the bill needed to be handled by the company's central office and would take a few days, A+ Towing went back to the collision center and TOOK MY TRUCK. They seized a vehicle that was already being worked on. Do NOT ever use A+ Towing. They are a dirty, dishonest business that treats customers horribly.
