My wife called them to ask for a replacement and was told we would have to upgrade the entire system. I didn't have such issues with ADT so I decided to cancel the services with Vivint and get a system with ADT. I called Vivint several times to cancel my services. Each time I was interrogated regarding the reason I wanted to cancel and was subjected to attempts to get me to upgrade my system. When that didn't work, I was put on hold several times. When that didn't work, they simply hung up the phone. This went on for months and I didn't use their system. Instead of them canceling my services as I requested, they continued to bill me. I found this out when a collection agency sent me a letter. This was so unprofessional of Vivint. A person has the Right to cancel their services. I tend to believe that I am not the only one who has had this issue with them. Something is strange about this company. One customer service rep became panicky when I pressed him 10 straight times to cancel my service and proclaimed that he "didn't want to lose his job." That was not my problem. All I wanted was my service cancelled as requested. I will never use Vivint again and do not recommend them for your security needs. They do that adequately, but their equipment needs a lot of maintenance and getting a cancellation is frustrating, time consuming, and may require legal action.

They made four flawless new keys for us for a price I found very fair, and were very helpful to my wife, who is disabled. James was great, Ashely was very helpful, and the whole experience was not only a lifesaver, since the key operates the wheelchair lift on our car, but also saved us money and time. (Bruno, the manufacturer, charges an absurd sum to replace keys.) These folks are just who you hope you'll encounter when you need help. They're fantastic. I was in the alarm trade for many years in Birmingham, and I wish I had known about them because a good locksmith is worth their weight in gold.
