We went and experienced the Lagoon on the 3rd of July which is when TI was doing their fireworks and the hotel was completely sold out, so it was certainly busy with everyone decked out in their red, white and blue. We changed in our room as we had read there is no locker room and the lockers are paid lockers (confirmed that). My husband was excited about the swim up bar so we headed to the adults only section which is really amazing when there are a lot of kids. To get into the lagoon as a hotel guest, we needed our IDs so they could match us to our room and give us our wristbands. After you go sign waivers on ipads right around the corner. This got a little congested as there was a mix of technology users and all the Ipads were on a table and everyone stood at the table. They had free towels to use which was really appreciated, they are not big by any means but towels provided is fantastic. We dropped our coverups and shoes in a corner in the adult section which is what most people appeared to do. We spent the majority of the time in the swim up bar. The water was very comfortable. They had a assortment of canned drinks and 2 cocktails that were on draft (strawberry margs and blue razz lemonade). No mixed drinks or anything else. There was only 1 bartender working plus a bar back and she was getting worked for sure. When we were closing out 2 others were coming in. They only take cards and you can not charge to your room which seemed to create a lot of confusion since I think a lot of people wanted to charge to their rooms. We wanted to go the lazy river and there were enough tubes, however with the volume of kids in the river, we opted to just stay in the swim up bar for this trip. They had a pool you could splash around in, adult only hot tubs, lazy river, splash area for the littles and water slides, so really there is something for everyone.

They also sell some boxed snacks, which were on the pricier side for what it was (gummies, nerds and animal crackers), canned alcohol (no shots) and drinks. Great way to kill some time, just don't look too closely at the color of the water if you took photos and were in the area with kids because it's real green.

The check-in experience was rough. You have to leave your car and go inside to get a parking pass,…read morewhich puts you in a tough spot with kids. Do you leave them in the car? Bring them inside? And if you bring them inside, do you also haul your bags up to the room first, then walk everyone back down to the car? If you were a single parent with multiple kids, this would be a nightmare. On top of that, the lines were extremely long, and the self check-in software doesn't make it easy to buy multiple parking passes or extra waterpark passes. For those, you need a staff member to come help you. We were lucky to get Benny. Honestly, I would hire him at my agency in a heartbeat. His customer service was incredible, and he was an excellent problem solver. The hotel is lucky to have him. The room itself was beautiful and clean. No complaints there at all. The kids loved it, and so did I. The arcade, on the other hand, was wildly overpriced. A bouncy ball that costs $5 in the gift shop made zero sense to charge what they did. They also don't offer room service for food, which felt like a miss. One thing I noticed was how on edge the staff seemed. When I asked a few of them about it, they consistently said it was because they were being watched on camera. That's never a good sign for any organization. It took away from the customer service experience and made interactions feel less personable and way more corporate. The nighttime dance party was a blast for the kids. They had so much fun. My one concern as a parent was how close it was to the hotel's front doors. Someone could feasibly walk in, grab a kid, and walk right back out. A kid could also wander out on their own. If you're paying attention as a parent, it's not really an issue, but it's worth noting. Still, highly recommended. The waterpark was an absolute blast. There were plenty of lifeguards, and the staff did a great job keeping the kids safe. It was overcrowded though, with long lines for the waterslides, but that's pretty standard for any waterpark. The best part was that they let me ride the tube slides with my four-year-old and set us up in a really safe way. That created core memories for both of us. Highly recommended. These 5 children who have started to own the kamp sit have started to get more and more greedy with there prices and services. they have gotten to the point to where you are a seasonal they still find loopholes and ways to get more and more money out of you. your not even allowed to bring you OWN fire wood, and then the proceed to charge you 20 bucks for a bundle of 5 tiny logs of wood. Kamp Dels used to be a amazing places for Families to get away until they decided money was the only thing that matters. Kicking people OUT OF THERE SEASONAL SITE THAT HAVE BEEN THERE FOR YEARS, just to build a MANSION by the pool, not to mention that at first they refused to move there sites at THERE OWN EXPENSES. Then on top of that they choose to treat there seasonal and weekend people, no matter how long you've been with them with PURE disrespect and they will literally say to you " be careful, because i'm the owner". the power trip on these 5 new children how inherited the ONCE amazing kamp dels has completely twisted this place into a place where it is unaffordable for most families and when you are here it is completely not worth your buck with everything they choose to put in lines. i hope this review helps families before booking if your looking for a get away with your family at peace.

And another one of my friends had to take it again and in the trading of water they said you were hitting the wall so you can't be in the deep end isn't that what lifeguards are for if you start drowning, so why can you not go in the deep end every other pool I've gone to there was no test, so I will not recommend going to redwing water park but go to a different water park.

Just remember, it does cost $3.00 if your a non swimmer. $4.00 for a swimmer. This place has a kiddy pool with a waterfall, jr. pool with small water slides, fountains and 2 giant water slides for the bigger kids. Diving boards with a med sized water slide and an olympic sized open area for lap swimmers and so on. If you get hungry they even have a snack bar. The only negative this place has is the locker rooms. They really need an upgrade. Broken faucets, cracked flooring and so on. Now that we have teenagers, we just come for a fun time once in a great while. My favorite part is the lazy river. I could spend hours relaxing f there and it has this super fun tube slide too. For the toddlers, there's a zero depth entry part of the pool, with a cute mini slide and splash pad. For the grade school kids, there's slides are always a hit. For our tweens, they loved the deeper part of the pool with the super fast slides. And of course we all love the lazy river. The season passes also include unlimited mini golf on their super cute 9 hole course that includes a fabulous waterfall. I even love that they have mandatory safety breaks at the top of each hour to ensure the lifeguards get a break and gives our kids a chance to reapply sunscreen.
