And another one of my friends had to take it again and in the trading of water they said you were hitting the wall so you can't be in the deep end isn't that what lifeguards are for if you start drowning, so why can you not go in the deep end every other pool I've gone to there was no test, so I will not recommend going to redwing water park but go to a different water park.

Now that we have teenagers, we just come for a fun time once in a great while. My favorite part is the lazy river. I could spend hours relaxing f there and it has this super fun tube slide too. For the toddlers, there's a zero depth entry part of the pool, with a cute mini slide and splash pad. For the grade school kids, there's slides are always a hit. For our tweens, they loved the deeper part of the pool with the super fast slides. And of course we all love the lazy river. The season passes also include unlimited mini golf on their super cute 9 hole course that includes a fabulous waterfall. I even love that they have mandatory safety breaks at the top of each hour to ensure the lifeguards get a break and gives our kids a chance to reapply sunscreen.

We had our daughters birthday party here. Prior to the party I called to ask about Gluten free…read moreoptions. I was told they had hotdogs, french fries, and pizza. So I pre-ordered a pizza (along with the gorilla for other guests). The day we arrived, told "no gluten free pizza was available" so we ordered hot dogs and fries...told as the pizza's were being served "oh, no fries as it is broken". So our daughter had 2 hot dogs while everyone else enjoyed pizza (was told we could not order in a gluten free option). We booked the party and were given 10 passes, we also had 5 coupons for free entry. We told the front desk to use the 10 birthday passes first, that way we could use the coupons at a later date. When we left, they had 5 passes left and no coupons...they gave those first and refused to change this. We spent well over $300 for this party. Not once did we get "How did we do?" to follow up. Very disappointed. Good place to go if you are just going swimming, do not book a party here.

These 5 children who have started to own the kamp sit have started to get more and more greedy with there prices and services. they have gotten to the point to where you are a seasonal they still find loopholes and ways to get more and more money out of you. your not even allowed to bring you OWN fire wood, and then the proceed to charge you 20 bucks for a bundle of 5 tiny logs of wood. Kamp Dels used to be a amazing places for Families to get away until they decided money was the only thing that matters. Kicking people OUT OF THERE SEASONAL SITE THAT HAVE BEEN THERE FOR YEARS, just to build a MANSION by the pool, not to mention that at first they refused to move there sites at THERE OWN EXPENSES. Then on top of that they choose to treat there seasonal and weekend people, no matter how long you've been with them with PURE disrespect and they will literally say to you " be careful, because i'm the owner". the power trip on these 5 new children how inherited the ONCE amazing kamp dels has completely twisted this place into a place where it is unaffordable for most families and when you are here it is completely not worth your buck with everything they choose to put in lines. i hope this review helps families before booking if your looking for a get away with your family at peace.

On the plus side, it is pretty big, so you can spread out, but that is also a bit scary as there can be a lot of kids in the water and you really work to stay on top of your kids to make sure they are safe and/or playing nice with others. They have some big waterpark-type slides but those were closed for some reason. The staff were really nice and gave us advice as to the best times to come to beat the crowds, etc. There is also free parking, but it is somewhat limited, so best to plan your visit accordingly.

The water is cold…read more That is the ONLY reason I'm withholding a five star rating, bc my kids love the Tropics Indoor Waterpark! The family rate is a decent deal. They are open on holidays when some community pools are closed. The locker rooms and showers are pretty good, but no private changing areas at all. The waterslide is THE BOMB. A+++ for that waterslide. A good little kids area, fun climbing floating things, the lily pad ropes course is a hit. But. Cold water = we only stay about 60-90 minutes. Which honestly is enough. And also, my big kids dont care. The littlest one and the adults get cold. We've only gone during winter, so maybe its not as much of an issue during warmer months. The lockers take quarters only, no change machine on site, but the teens running the concession stand will probably make change.

The lifeguards take their jobs and safety seriously, which was comforting to see. My kids LOVE the lazy river but I was disappointed that they got rid of the inner tubes they used to have, so it's not really a "lazy" river anymore since you can't just relax and float. The not so good: the prices are so high! $14 per person for ages 2+, plus a 3% credit card fee. You are allowed to get a stamp for re-entry but you are not allowed to bring any snacks so anyone who has children knows, you won't make it longer than 2-3 hours with kids without food. They do have a concession stand, but as expected they only offer pizza burgers and the like, no fruit or veggies or other healthy snacks. For a family of 4 to enjoy 2 hours at the pool we paid $57, which is quite high. The other not so good bit is the pool is always so crowded; we got there 20 min after they opened and could not find a chaise to set our stuff on. The sign at the entrance says the capacity is 644, but I can't imagine if they actually allowed that many people in, it would be utterly unbearable. In summary, this is a great community space but I personally do not plan to go more than once per season because of the over crowding and the high cost.

We arrived at about 10:15am and had what I think is a very reasonable assumption (that other people around us also had) that when "tot time" was over we could simply stay and enjoy the pool even though it would be a mix of older kids and families joining in. But that is not the case! They kick you out at 10:45AM sharp, at which point they will charge you a full re-entry price, and have a police officer onsite specifically to take your toddlers snacks out of your beach bag. What a joke. Go out and catch some real criminals instead of harassing my kid.
