I'm a new resident who was excited to move in - at first. The Good = Barbara. She was so helpful and friendly. She really went out of her way to show me the apartment, explain everything and make my move to Austin (on my 2nd day here) so much more smooth. I really love her gentle way and the fact that she will go above and beyond to offer up excellent customer service. She even called my insurance company to help expedite the renters insurance. PLUS she is a US Marine Veteran. KUDOS to Northland and River Stone Ranch for supporting Veterans. Way to go Barbara for doing an outstanding job and making me feel welcome and comfortable! So far, you've been the best thing about my experience at RSR. The other ladies in the front office, Rachel being one, are also very friendly and helpful. I also like the size of the floor plan for the price I am paying. The closets are HUGE and the bathrooms are spacious. The pantry is also a nice size and there is a washer and dryer hook-up which is nice. The covered parking for each unit is also a perk. The Bad = For me the biggest one is the lack of security. The apartment website lists as their first amenity that it is a gated community. It certainly is not. The gate to the complex is open 24/7 and apparently has been for quite some time as cars drive in and literally whiz into the open gate bypassing the little tunnel you would drive into in order to enter the access code. That tells me that they already know the gate will be open and don't bother even attempting to check to see if they need to enter the code. People who don't live in the community drive into the lot, park and use the pool area (which is also complete unsecured) as they see fit since no one monitors the pool, although they will tell you they do. I've seen this happen even though I just moved in. The gates on the sides of the leasing office are unlocked and can be opened by anyone walking by. The back gate to the property is open most of the time. Occasionally I'm surprised to see it closed. I say either take off the amenity of a "gated community" and remove it from the lease or actually follow through with what you put in writing and fix your security issues all around. Why issue a pool key or a gate access code if neither is needed? The gates should be fixed and a new access code should be issued to ALL CURRENT residents since I understand it is the same code it has been since the beginning of time. If you're looking for safety and peace of mind, this is not the place. This new resident has very little feeling of safety in my new home and am glad I signed a short-term lease. Upon initial inspection, the apartment seemed great. It really did. The apartment maintenance team did a great job of fixing everything on the surface. Now, almost daily, things are going wrong. Things maintenance certainly should have been aware of that were repaired poorly the first, second or third time to begin with and are now bigger issues. Fix them right to begin with. I can't stand shoddy jobs and it is your reputation on the line. The manager does not seem friendly. She has not made the effort to introduce herself. I asked who she was during one of my several visits to the office and she was pointed out to me, so she was there. Never bothered to introduce herself. You'd think she would want to be visible and promote positive customer service. Get her face out there and take a minute to welcome all new residents. I've read the reviews and some aren't very nice about the manager (even the recent ones after the manager change). Positive publicity might do some good. First impressions make a difference. The issues I see with the complex, in my mind, are a reflection of the manager and how well she manages her property and her staff. I've been a leader of organizations and, as the leader, the buck stops with you. The pool is a disaster. If you plan to take you family swimming then look elsewhere. On the weekends it turns into a frat party. Cussing, drinking, smoking urinating in the bushes outside the pool area and in the evening the college kids climb up on the tressel so they can walk over to the back and jump off it into the pool. There is little to no monitoring, even if they tell you there is. The pool key is issued for no reason because anyone in the city can get in and nothing in the lease regarding the pool that you sign is enforced (two per apartment limit, etc.). I wouldn't want to be anywhere near the pool on Saturday or Sunday, especially with kids. All in all, this new resident is sure hoping things look up real quick. I give it a star cuz the landscaping is maintained, the office staff and maintenance dept are ok snd the location is good. The kitchens and bathrooms need updating. The kitchen sink is useless with large pots cuz the faucet sits too low to be useful. The noise transference between apartments is awful. And terrible. And inexcusable. No noise insulation was apparently used by the builder. I can hear my neighbor walk down the hall from my living room. Also suspect is the weather insulation. Half the apartment is noticeably warmer/colder than the other half. Recently a news report stated the average utility bill for a residence in Austin and apparently I am paying twice that for an 800 sq ft apt. And, the carport roofs leak during rain. read more

Great experience dealing with Barbara one of leasing agents. She was very helpful and understanding. Gave her my price range and she found me a beautiful one bedroom for a price I could turn down. She made me feel appreciated and answered every question I had. She works hard to make every resident feel at home in this community. Apartments are located in a great area close to many stores and right off the freeway. Rooms themselves have great floor plans. Appliances are a little outdated but for my first apartment that is fine. They do have options for upgraded rooms with better appliances. read more

WORST APARTMENT COMPLEX EVER. This is the second review I have ever written in my life. I just had to warn people. Maintenance is non existent, office staff could care less, and their excuse is always the same "We are understaffed." Frankly, I don't care that you have been "understaffed" for the past 12 months.... Have you thought of hiring someone? I Just recently moved into this apartment complex and I already feel like I'm home. It's very cozy, very roomy and very attentive. When I moved in everything was very clean and welcoming and easy to get set up. Lovely staff and Barbara who I worked with helped me through everything. I relocated for a job, so I had to do the application process from afar. The process of signing my lease became quite absurdly screwed up by the staff. They misinformed me regarding some dates, which turned into a huge headache. They wouldn't compensate me for their mistake. I almost didn't take the apartment because of it. However, since living here generally speaking I have found the staff very nice, the grounds to be well maintained, and the apartments pleasant. My main complaint is that the corporation behaves quite "corporately" towards its customers, meaning it seems like they're usually looking for ways to charge more and provide less. For instance, they recently stopped accepting packages on behalf of their tenants, so the delivery trucks have to leave packages in outdoor breezeways in front of apartment doors. This seems dangerous as there were burglaries this summer. In fact, about two months ago my doormat was stolen from in front of my apartment door, so I don't think having packages left in front of doors will be safe. However, the management has just decided they don't want to be responsible for accepting packages anymore. Speaking of mail, they don't have a drop box for outgoing mail that you can drive up to. Instead, you have to park and go into the office where they have inconveniently placed a small basket on a table that you have to walk across the lobby to get to if you want to mail something. I asked about this, and they told be someone broke into the mail box when they had one. I'm wondering if the management is so cheap that they can't buy a secure mail drop box as a convenience to residents. They recommended that residents have their packages delivered to their workplaces now, so I suppose they think we should also mail things from work to. For as much as rent is here, I would think they could provide these types of basic services. When moving out they expect two months notice, which I think is really excessive and hard on tenants. This probably creates a lot of rent paid on unused space, which only benefits corporate greediness. I need to move out because of another job relocation, which causes me to have to break my lease. In addition to the large buy-out sum, they require 30-days notice, which also seems excessive since the buy-out already amounts to a month and a half of rent. Furthermore, they will only accept the keys two days prior to the move-out date. They told me I may have to mail them in. I asked what will happen if I don't get them mailed in on time, and they told me they'll charge me for another month's rent. This seems absurd. I've never had an apartment refuse to accept my keys when moving out at my earliest convenience, and then threaten to charge me another month of rent for not turning them in on their scheduled time despite the fact that I've paid a buy-out and have given 30-days notice. Furthermore, even though, I had paid a non-refundable deposit, they still gave me an itemized cleaning list with prices next to everything of what they'll charge if they decide an item hasn't been cleaned. From my experience renting in the past, I always thought cleaning after move-out was part of the deposit, not a separate charge. They recommended that instead of cleaning myself I should pay $100 for the cleaning crew to clean to their specifications. Does this mean that they don't use a professional cleaning crew between tenants unless the previous tenant pays for it? I've lived in many apartments in my life, and I've never had them not professionally cleaned before I occupied them. I'm guessing that if I don't choose to go with their recommended $100 cleaning charge, they'll end up charging me for the professional cleaning anyway. I asked if my $100 pet deposit would be applied to pet-related damage only, and they said they would apply it to anything at their discretion. They also said they would use it if the carpets have to be cleaned due my pet. This makes it sounds as though they don't clean carpets between tenants as a standard practice. This seems to me to be unsanitary and cheap. For instance, while my cat didn't damage the carpets, the next tenants could be allergic to cats. I know I've paid the company quite a lot of money already. Yet, it feels like I'm continually told what services they won't provide for their tenants, and how I'm responsible to pay for various expenses, many of which are typically the responsibility of a landlord. Overall, this hasn't been a bad place to live for me, however I just think the company is very driven by corporate greed as in a do less and charge tenants more mentality. read more

I have lived in many apartments over the years. This one was, by far, the worst. The 2 bedroom apartment was cramped, even though they claimed it was 1250 square feet. Maybe so, but much of the space was wasted in a massive closet, leaving the actual living areas to be quite small. I made the mistake of not notating every little picky thing wrong with the place when I moved in. As a consequence to this, I was forced to pay as though I had done these supposed damages. Examples: 1) Stains under the kitchen sink when I moved in = fine for unclean cabinets when I moved out, even though I did clean. 2) Cheap carpeting, with edges coming up due to simple vacuuming = fines for "pet damage" (even though it had nothing to do with my cats) when I moved out. Management flat-out denied that the change the carpeting after each resident moves out. I saw them do so with my own eyes, in the 3 years that I lived there, and yet they blamed me for damage to the carpeting that was so threadbare that you could almost see the floor beneath it. Perhaps they felt that vacuuming a few times a week was not appropriate? 3) A minimal amount of ash in the oven from running the self-clean = fine for unclean oven (the same condition I received it in). 4) A $75 fee for "pet clean-up" - whatever that means. The end result was fines in excess of the refundable portion of the deposit, and when I attempted to speak reasonably to management about this, I was repeatedly referred to my move-in condition list - "You didn't write that here." I suggest that if are going to live here, write everything down. Don't assume that something is normal and reasonable for a home of this age, or you will be blamed for ridiculous things that you didn't do. Management staff is exceptionally rude and uncaring. ALL correspondence from management comes in the form of a threat, even that which is addressed to the community at large. Didn't their mothers ever teach them that addressing people with genuine respect will get you further than using a phony smile and unkind words? The beautiful-looking pool is unusable by reasonable people due to countless individuals smoking and drinking out of glass beer bottles IN THE POOL, with management offering nothing but empty threats and nothing ever really being done to solve the problem. The floor of the indoor basketball court was always dirty. They make it nearly impossible to move out, requiring 60 days written notice, even to just live out your lease. Rent went up excessively each year, with the month-to-month prices being hundreds of dollars more. Eventually we did manage to move out, but only after paying $1750 to buy out of the lease. We truly had no other choice. The ONLY thing that made the apartment bearable was the friendliness of most of the maintenance staff, especially Ruben, who really ought to find a nicer place to work. read more

4 star price. 3 star for apartments (ignoring neighbor noise and recognizing the appliances are horrible). 2 star for neighbors. and 1 star for management. Still a good price for 2 bedrooms, but there's a reason they're begging people to move here... And offering $500 move in rent credits to con your friends to move... Unfortunately the resident base here is in decline and increasingly driven by affordability, with much of the young professional base that was here a few years ago now having left and been replaced by families with kids and/or the party scene... In brief, if the stars align and you have no problems, this is a great place to live and save a little $. If you have issues with your apartment or neighbors and need to interact w/ the office, the savings won't be worth it and your apt life will be awful. Updates to my previous review: The new manager provided initial hope but that hope quickly faded. Unfortunately the sum of our interaction with the new manager, whom actively avoids any interaction with residents, is to demonstrate unequivocally that she has no real interest in going out of her way to solve any issues for residents, and is usually rude or condescending when doing so -- if you can even get her to see you. So the earlier comments about the office being super nice remain, except the manager, but competent folks burn out quickly here -- including the hardworking and great maintenance manager Ruben who left last year too. The complex's maintenance is most definitely suffering his loss, but good for him. There are numerous safety issues on the property -- the lack of concern for resident safety and security under new management is beyond belief: -The gates never work so are left open and the complex key code hasn't been changed in years (and the single key pad often doesn't work too, so the gates are again left open -- and if someone enters the wrong code too many times [really easy to do since the buttons are so worn out they don't always read when you push them] then the gate locks out for 5 minutes if the wrong code is entered 5 times...). -The fence leading to sunset valley/home depot has numerous holes in it as do other perimeter fences -- a Sunset Valley locking gate would be ideal as it's the only way to safely bike or walk to greater Austin or access public transit (good luck w/ the access road). Folks also use grass on the other side of the fence as a makeshift dog park... For whatever reason, the homeless population in the woods surrounding the property is growing and with that comes add'l problems too, especially with incomplete fences/secure entry points... I think the locks on the walk in entry gates by the office have finally been fixed (they didn't lock all of last summer until November), but they don't usually latch, so... -Probably 20% or more and growing of exterior building lights are out and have been for months. You have to beg the office to get them replaced... Yes, safety lights like in hallways and stairwells. Apparently anything not in your apartment is "property maintenance" that maintenance "regularly checks and repairs without need for notice"... Better part of a year now... -Crime has gone up considerably. Someone stole a neighbor's car from the complex last week -- it'd be great if the complex was proactive and told us about major thefts like that... (That they didn't is the final straw that led to me writing the updated review.) Through the neighbor/dog walker grapevine, there has been an increase in petty theft throughout the property as well -- again, no proactive communications from management on that front either. (If you read back reviews here and elsewhere it was 5 or 6 years ago that the complex allowed the fences and gates go to crap and had a substantial increase in crime then too...) -There are no cameras at entry points, or security patrols, or any of the other expected security amenities of comparable properties... -And as others mentioned, the pool, tennis court, and other outdoor community amenities are often difficult to use as non-residents like to crash the pool and courts, due to lack of security. As for mail, the situation there is still absolutely awful. Get any USPS package, and you have a trip to the post office. The property company, Northland, just acquired a couple other, larger and much larger respectively, properties near River Stone Ranch -- Sedona Springs and Monterey Ranch that I know of -- and they're now sending all of those folks to the same post office for packages too (the line was bad before). Point being, instead of spending a few thousand dollars to install secure parcel lockers, the management decides to force residents to spend a ridiculous amount of time and gas at the post office. At least an hour per PO trip with previous lines, longer now. Unfortunately, this case in point really sums up the general attitude of River Stone Management towards resident quality of life issues. read more

I have lived in River Stone Ranch for over a year and have only great experience here. I have Barbara served me all the time. I think River Stone Ranch has some management that they keep 1:1 service. Barbara always recognizes me when I step into the office and always kindly asks me what help I need. The first time when I came to the office to ask about price and apartment models, she showed me everything, told me pros and cons about every model. She showed me the public pools, gyms and drove me to the 3 apartment models that I was interested in. She never lost her patience during the tour. Then finally I chose the apartment that I like, she was very happy and congratulated about my new home. Sometimes I lost patience when Barbara asked me to provide paperwork such as income statement and insurance. I think I had attitude towards her but she was always calm. She kindly explained why she needed the paperwork. She was following the rules and was doing her job. I have never seen she is mad or rude or out of control. To me, she is a very nice lady who values her job and her customers. She cares about me and tries to be friend to me. I really appreciate this. I just do not understand why there is some bad review about her because it is not true. The first time I need to fix something, I called Barbara and she directed me to the right place to submit the working order. I submitted my order on the website, and the worker came the next day. I consider it is fast because my order was not urgent. If I have urgent order, I can call their hotline and some maintenance guy/lady assist me even during the weekends. There is a maintenance lady (sorry forget her name) is very nice and professional. I had water leak during a weekend and she came immediately, and spend hours to fix the problem outside the building. It was hot outside, and I felt sorry for her, but anyway she got the thing fixed on that day. The management is great. If I have any issues, the manager listens to me with smile, and takes actions. I think River stone ranch is making a great job to make us live here happy. read more

I stopped into this property on the way to view another that I had searched out. Barbara listened to my wants and needs and showed me the perfect new home. She was sincere and showed me where my new home would be located. I had been living in the same place for over 15 years. I had an aging dog and needed to be on the ground floor. Not only do they have a great agility dog park, but within a few steps from my apartment is a secluded hiking trail. I have had a couple of minor maintenance requests and Steven has been quick to take care of them. Thanks Barbara for making this experience a pleasant one for hopefully years to come! read more

DON'T GET STUCK LIKE I DID. Ending on a 2 year lease with this apartment complex on a bad note. They decided to end it this way, not I. I will say I enjoyed the property but issues like mailboxes not being repaired for extreme lengths of time. Not approving someone as a ROOMATE, not co-signer just because she didn't have credit makes no sense. I am under the liability for the payments due so they had no reason to deny her. Lastly, they are ending my 2 years of living peacefully here, paying rent on time, and overall being a quiet resident of this complex by forcing me into staying on a month to month basis. They FAILED to give me notice of my lease expiring 60 days prior then tell me I failed to notify them 60 days prior therefore I am forced into my monthly rate spiking from 1280 to 1567 for an apartment I never planned on staying in. The leasing agent I worked with wasn't available so I spoke to whoever was present and her excuse for not giving me the pricing and breakdown was "she was the only one in the office" and basically said I'm going to let you go now and hung up! Poor management and staff. I will say Victoria explained things to me in a very understandable and calm manner however whoever she works with doesn't give a damn about residents and I wouldn't recommend due to high rates and poor staff. read more

Love living here! My apartment is spacious and feels new. Maintenance requests are generally handled quickly, within a couple of business days. Haven't had any issues while I've been here. Neighbors are quiet, and the complex is located conveniently close to stores and restaurants. In general, the place feels safe. Barbara, one of the leasing consultants, was a huge, huge help when I was looking for a place to live...She went out of her way to help me and my family feel comfortable and still continues to do so. The staff is really friendly and cares. Definitely recommend. read more

Since I sold my house I have pretty much moved every year; this is likely when I'll be settling down for a long period of time and it pretty much revolves around the best first impression I have ever experienced since moving out of the house for college. Barbara is EXCEPTIONAL! she hooked us with her above and beyond customer service and welcoming personality. This place is wonderful, and it does have all that she told us, but we would never have taken the chance if she hadn't been the one to help us. We were working with a real estate agent, and this was the only property we looked at that couldn't work with out our agent, but it was so wonderful of a tour and customer service we went with this one. I just moved in Riverstone Ranch a couple of weeks ago from San Antonio, and my experience with the staff and with my apartment have both been positive. My unit was in great condition when I moved in. The RSR representative, Barbara, has been very friendly, welcoming, and helpful since the beginning of our interaction. I lived out of town before I moved in, so we communicated via emails and phone calls re. the unit and the lease. I've had a lot of questions, and she has been nothing but patient. Barbara Bell seriously wrote the book on quality customer care. I do not know anyone in this city, was very worried about applying in the right area and adhering to all qualifications. Barbara literally held my hand through this process and helped me find something for me. She listened, an took the time to explain everything to me and really went way above and beyond anyone I have encountered in any capacity in years. Renter beware!!! They sell you the place as great when you move in, they will listen and give you all the choices , at that moment you are the greatest person on earth...once you sign you find out they can't tell you a lot of things, or when you bring a complain " they'll look into it" and never do. I travel a lot and was rarely home, I have no kids no dog....so the apartment was really the same way when I moved out. Since they were not available to do the check prior to me moving out ( how convenient!) I was charged for 208. Dollars of made up stuff, why so I know they made it up? I was smart enough to vide the place before I left! I was charged for dirty switches a dirty freezer ( I never used) 4 cabinet drawers dirty ( never used them) and a lovely water bill for 127 dollars when I was home 4 days that period. When called and asked about it, they said they can't discuss anything over the phone ( very convenient) !! I have lived in many rental places and have never lost a penny of my deposit let alone having to pay 127 of water. They will scam you, won't talk to you and be ready to give away your deposit on Mede up stuff. If you are still thinking about moving there , get new shoes as they never clean up dog feces, or breezeways. They let people keep their garbage by the door which attracts animals and insects!! I am glad I am out of there.... Good luck if you read the reviews and still want to rent there... You have been warned. read more

I have only lived here a couple of months as a new TX resident - but I do love my home at Riverstone Ranch. The upgrades they recently invested in are wonderful. It's not terribly expensive and therefore not the Ritz - but it's safe, close to almost anything you need to get to and the staff is outrageously friendly. We just got a beautiful new coat of paint (from yellow and red to gray and dark chocolatey brown) and they're replacing our window screens with solar screens - so we're looking good and saving moolah on A/C too! Ana was who set me up and she went out of her way to help me find the exact apartment I wanted. She spent an hour going through what was available, what was important to me and what amenities were close or far to each building. The rest of the staff has been ridiculously friendly and attentive to all my needs and the maintenance crew is friendly and wonderful - my favorite is Donna. I've toured a lot of apartments in the past few years and something was different about RiverStone Ranch. read more

This is one of the worst apartment I ever lived. Everything is wrong with this apartment. Very old building - things break very often and service and maintenance is the worst in entire austin. First thing you won't get any service on weekends ( AC broke or toilet won't flush), you should ready to live with that. And the staffs are not cooperative and have NO as an answer for everything. If I ever want to punish someone I will recommend them to stay in Riverstone Ranch. Please stay away from this apartment. Don't regret after yiu move in. read more

This place is great. Barbara was a very helpful leasing consultant, and set us up with our new apartment. My roommate and I have lived here for about 6 months, and thus far it's been a good experience. There are semi-frequent things that need fixing, but the maintenance staff generally takes care of them within 2 days of the maintenance request -- very timely. The one knock would be on the racquetball and basketball courts. The floors are very dirty, and in need of professional cleaning well beyond a simple push broom. Other than those courts, this is a good apartment complex that is full of mostly quiet young professionals. read more

I recently moved in, so I am writing this review based on my leasing and move-in experience. Overall, my experience has been very positive! The staff has been incredibly helpful and patient with me as I made my decision about where to live. Big thumbs up to Barbara, Chandler, and Miguel! Also, I don't remember her name but the female who works in accounting was super sweet and helpful as well. They worked together as a team to make the lease happen and to help me with my move-in, which I really appreciate! Barbara was detailed in helping me sign my lease and direct and up front about guidelines of leasing with Northland, which I greatly appreciate. Chandler was so patient with me and took me on several tours over the period of two or three days, and was very easy to chat with and communicate my concerns with. Miguel helped me with my move in while managing the leasing office by himself on a weekend and did a great job of balancing it all together - go Miguel! Finally, Barbara and Miguel helped me with my maintenance issues upon move in and that was helpful, too. If I were to point out any negatives it would probably be about things that cannot be changed, but are a matter of preference. The complex is well located but Right next to the highway so there is not much of an area to walk or experience some space between the complex and highway, which I miss from where I lived before. And there are a lot of speedbumps. Would LOVE it if they removed a few of them but I don't think that's gonna happen. If you are going to lease with a Northland community, I would make sure to ask a bunch of questions up front about move out and pet fees, because they are sticklers, and in my opinion, a bit excessive. read more

I am a current resident. The location of this apartment complex is in a great location. But that is one of the only pros. Pool is always disgusting (milky looking- with debris). Forget about that nice bbq by the pool... It doesn't work. Each of the charcoal grills in the complex are falling apart. You would think with the amount we pay in rent each month that they could afford to put some effort into this. Dog poop everywhere, on the sidewalk, in the parking lot, and in the grass. Carpet in the apartment is so thin and cheap that normal living will damage it- be prepared to pay for this when you move out. Pet rent and fees are absurd. You will hear everything your upstairs neighbor is doing- I mean ... everything. You can hear them walk, you can hear their dog walk, you can hear their dryer, you can hear their toilet flush... etc, etc, etc. You cannot connect your own washer. We were forced to have a maintenance person come out and connect, we were told "OHHH NO, we can't connect your hoses to your washer, you have to do that. We only connect the hoses to the facets in the wall." Its funny that after they connected our washer, we had to call them back and have them clean up water that was leaking because they did not set up the hoses correctly. Pathetic. Let me tell you about the front gate. It is a false sense of security. Half the time it is just left sitting open. 100% of the time, if someone does not have the code they will park and then follow the next person who puts the code in. Also, while being here half our mailboxes were broken into... twice. You would think after the first break in they would have taken this seriously. Instead, they waited for it to happen a second time before putting a security camera in the mail area. That is pathetic. There has been two occasions that I have tried to contact corporate. The number they give you does not go to corporate at all. You are forced to leave a voicemail and I promise you, your call is never returned. They do not care about your opinion. read more

While I don't have a lot of other apartment communities to make a comparison to I will say that we were made to feel welcomed the instant we stepped through the front doors of River Stone Ranch. After living in a small (less than 1000 square foot) home for seven years our growing family needed more space. We happened by RSR after searching a handful of other apartment communities. Victoria Briones greeted us with a smile and took us on a tour of the property. She was very knowledgeable about the grounds and the homes and was able not only to answer all of my questions but also help steer my decision making process. She was able to take my wants and needs and in her very experienced way find the best location/price/amenities for us. She is truly a gem. We have lived here just long enough to be going through the lease renewal process and we have spent much time in the office as a result. Our renewal dealings have been with Rachel Gross and she has been so patient and so supportive and so helpful throughout the entire process. It feels awfully nice knowing that I can take the dog and the toddler and stop in for a cup of coffee when I'm out and the office staff know me, my child, and my dog by name...despite the fact that the complex houses over 400 units. I recently moved into River Stone Ranch about 2 months ago. I work in the Arbor Trails shopping center and was looking for an apartment close by. One of my friends recommended River Stone, so I scheduled an appointment with Barbara. From the onset, it was apparent Barbara was committed to providing me an awesome apartment experience. She was extremely caring, courteous, professional, and honest. She even continues to check in with me to see how I am liking it and if I need anything. I got a killer deal on a 1 BR with attached garage, probably over $100 per month cheaper than anyone else in the area. The apartment is very nice. All the appliances work properly. The hot water gets hot quick and stays hot for a long time, which is important to me because I like long showers. My building is very quite and I am never really bothered by neighbors. The amenities rock, there is a pool, tennis and raquetball courts, convenient laundry rooms to do laundry if you don't have your own washer/dryer. I have been very satisfied with everything so far, and would definitely recommend River Stone Ranch to anyone looking for an apartment in the 78749 area. Make sure to ask for Barbara as she will really go out of her way to take care of you! read more
