This loop is awesome! Loved walking here, walked about 4 miles in total, and was absolutely sunburned. It was a nice path between walking on the dirt path or the asphalt, there was plenty of hills/flat areas and lots to see on the trail. We even stopped by the Desi House on our way back. My dogs and I have been walking at River Walk Park for the past 15 years. They have a wonderful trail that has really expanded over the past 10 years. You can now walk from Eastvale Community Park at Hamner through River Walk Park and down to Archibald, a total round trip of 5.2 miles. Unfortunately, there has been so many kids out there racing E-bikes during the past year it is getting increasingly difficult to safely take a walk with my dog along this trail. Recently JCSD has put up 20 miles per hour speed limit signs that say yield to pedestrians and some mirrors to help see around sharp turns. 20 mile per hour speed limit might be an okay speed limit on the straight parts of the trail, but 20 miles per hour isn't at all safe around the sharp turns. I have had to jump in the bushes and pull my dog off the trail several times from E-bikes racing around a curve in the trail. read more

Love this trail. Long enough distance to feel accomplished in walking/jogging but short enough I don't feel like dying when I'm home. The path is usually very clean. Mosquitos are so much tho so beware, have bug protection. I've been told there are snakes too, although I've yet to see one during my 3 years of walking this trail. Consider that lucky!lol I don't want to see one!! Sometimes you will come across some bums but... it could be worse. read more

This park is a couple of blocks away from us and we love going there for walks and play. Favorites: the miles of trail, the workout track and exercise machines and the play area. Enjoyed New Orleans, River Walk Park, a new addition since I was there many years ago. The Westin gave the best views of this whole area, overlooking the River and the French Quarter. So inviting to walk along the path and take in the breeze, the scene, the sounds of live music, in open space n have access to all the shops n dining nearby. Nice, little park. This park is what you pass through when going along the Eastvale Trail. One end of the path is at the Eastvale Community Park and the other end is at Archibald. I took off a star because there are a TON of gnats all around the trail, which could be the dealbreaker regarding even coming here or not, so wear your sunglasses, gaiter, and probably a hat to keep them out of your face/eyes/nose! The scenery is pictueresque and many sections of the path is wider than any trail I've ever been to. I suggest you park at the Eastvale Community Park parking lot and bike or walk all the way through the walk. read more

I was looking for an easy hike that I could jog for a few miles, so I was disappointed when the trail wasn't longer than a mile. However, I may have been lost and completely missed the actual trail. The scenery was beautiful and I felt completely safe the whole time. There was a sign that stated you must wear a mask at all times. I noticed a few people not wearing one, but everyone was keeping a safe distance of 6 ft apart or more. I'm definitely going to come back to see if I missed the actual trail. read more

This is my favorite place to walk around and ponder. There are various streets you can park on. I would park at the small parking lot on Cobble Creek. You can either take the cement trail (walkers, joggers, and/or bicyclist) or the dirt trail if you have your horse. I like to take my time and watch the tree branches blow in the wind. What a lovely park. So lovely it inspired me to give 5 stars. Woke up Sunday morning to a little canine kiss, and oh yes, a kiss from the Mr. After downing my first cup of coffee and nibbling on a remnant of a guava empanada we had bought the night before, we decided to get out and enjoy the day. It was one of those late summer, August days when it would get hot quickly, so we had to act fast. First matter of business, find out if our little Mexican place had more of those magnificent pastries (they are usually out). A resounding bingo! Secondly, we needed to find a nice spot to get in a nice morning walk and work off that sinfully wonderful pastry. And that is how we found River Walk Park. It was not that far away. This park parallels the swampy Santa Ana River that passes through the Inland Empire on its way to the Pacific Ocean. The riverbed I remember from non-drought times. It could be quite scary with its quicksand, snakes, overgrown brush and trees. Not a safe place to wander. However, it was an ideal place to hunt for tree mushrooms, but that's another story. And I hate to think what will happen to this beautiful park if we ever get the huge seasonal rains and high water table like before. The park is beautifully maintained. It has ramps or stairs, you choose, for getting down to the park. And once there, you will find lots of green grass, hills to tumble down, a large gazebo, man-made, stone lined brooks, little bridges, and a play area complete with swings and things to climb and explore, with rubber padding underneath instead of sand for the little ones. There are two trails that parallel each other, a horse trail, and a well paved one for bikers, joggers, hikers, and us plain folk. It goes and goes. And it is a perfect place for giving the loveable pooch in your life a nose full of wild smells and a great walk, on a leash of course. I only wish it was tree-lined, it was pretty stark where we joined up. Maybe some day. This is still a young park. I think we have found a winner for our walks and family outings. read more

I really enjoy going for a walk in this park along the trail. Today we parked at the listed address and then took the trail to the left. It comes to an end in about .8 mile and then you just come back the same way which is just under 2 miles for the total walk. We saw lots of bunnies today as well as some beautiful flowers (bees included) which is a great way to begin SPRING! BIG CON: NO RESTROOMS!!!! read more

There are no rivers in this park. -crickets- BUT this park is really beautiful! I've seen this park unfold throughout the years. There was a time when this park had a little off the trail path, and you could see a little creek along the path. That was peaceful. The end of that trail is an abandoned farm. Running it was awesome until they blocked it. However they now have a better paved trail which connects to Eastvale community park. If you're coming from soaringbird court, you're going to park on the neighborhood or the little cul de sac. The little cul de sac is the designated parking for this park. Go down the stairs, pass the seating areas and the weird structures and you'll see the trail. The trail is about 4 miles round. It's great for running, because it's got hills. The bathrooms are actually 1.5 miles into the trail. That's where this walk meets to the eastvale community park. So even though there are no rivers in this park -crickets-, it's a good park to run, walk, or I don't know read a book or something. It's a great park! read more

A lot safer compared to the park we went for a photo shoot in chino hills where my sister in law window was smashed.. Less people with local neighbors just walk around ..kids playing .. This park was a great find. Went with my wife and kids and spent about 3 hours there. We parked by Soaring Bird Ct. entrance. We walked the eastern portion of the park, then followed the trail to the western section to check out the walking track. The track is well maintained and the exercise equipment is of good variety and in good condition. We went back to the east side - the kids LOVED the climbing features and we played some frisbee golf. It was getting pretty hot, so we cut it short and hit the road. We will definitely be back. My 10 year old wants to do the whole frisbee golf course. The only down side is that the trees aren't mature yet, so there aren't too many shade areas besides the gazebo. Fyi, you can reserve the gazebo through JCSD. read more

I love this place. I even have a gym membership and prefer to come her. The machine equipment they have works! IF YOU PERFORM THE EXERCISE WITH INTENTION, they work! The natural life around is beautiful. The dragonfly have really been visiting me every time I've gone this season!! The butterfly's are plenty and the squirrels look like they are having so much fun. I even saw a baby squirrel and seriously it made my day! Don't choose the hottest day to go because the shad cover is only near the center of the circuit walk. I will continue to come back. This park is famous in Eastvale because it spans about 5 miles connecting many neighborhoods. It is always occupied by students walking, biking or skating to school. I was one of those students and have done this for several years until I was old enough to drive. There are many memories in this park and occasionally I will skate through it. This park doesn't really have a jungle gym or swings because it is more of a trail park so the focus is on walking. I always find myself reminiscing whenever here. read more

Norco has come up! Oh, excuse me....EASTVALE. When you park your car, you will first come to the park area. This includes a playground and a BBQ area with a gazebo. Very nice. Keep walking and you will get to the hiking trail. It looks like a marsh on one side and you can hear varying animal calls that make you feel the nature! It's well maintained and the landscaping is done well (it should be, considering this is a new development). There are "McMansions" on the other side of the trail, which provide a nice view. There's a horse riding trail that runs parallel to the walking trail. Signs and workout bars along the trail are a nice touch, too. It is handicap accessible and a great place to bring your dog. I will say that it could stand to be more lit. There's almost no lighting at all once you're on the trail itself. Don't come here past sunset. A great place read more

Exploring the outdoors this weekend, I happened upon this park thanks to Yelp. It's sparkling clean, sprawling, quiet & provides fitness options for tots and adults. It even has a horse dirt trail, corral, and posts to tie up your horse. Lots of pretty green grass & also a smooth paved trail for biking and walking. It's got lots of coastal and inland greenery, felt safe & gave me the opportunity to exercise and tan. Part of of the park has a nice playground, and the other a paved jog track with benches and fitness equipment along the way. Set amid huge homes & a quiet neighborhood, this is ideal to bring your dog, boyfriend, family or friends. Park hours posted as sunrise to 10pm. Decent amount of parking & lots of trash receptacles with doggie bags. I was able to also catch a wild bunny playing. A few loops around for some great cardio did me well today. read more

Best outdoor local spot ever! I found out about this place from my sister-in-law who just recently moved to Eastvale. I've been in Ontario, near the border of Eastvale, for a few years now and can't believe I haven't discovered this place yet. It starts at a cute little park with lots of grassy areas and an ultimate frisbee spot, I think. The trail extends out and is bordered by some really nice mansion type homes. And on the other side, I assume is the river. There are two pathways, one for horses (dirt) and the other (asphalt) for bikers and walkers/runners. I got here a little late...15 minutes before sundown. So I didn't get to do the whole trail since it wasn't well lit. But I'm definitely coming back during the day...Finally a place to run outdoors without the smell of cows! That and my dog had a blast running with and trying to chase after rabbits and birds. The trail is also very kid friendly--easy for the little ones to walk and/or bike it. Along the trail are these little stations for workouts. There's some kind of balancing steps, elliptical machine, and shoulder press. Really loved as much as I've seen so far. Can't say enough good things. Just wish there were more lights for the night. read more

This place is perfect for when I want to get away and get my mind off things. I walk it normally, it's great to see everyone up early in the morning to exercise. And everyone I come across is so friendly. The trail is right along the river, and if you go off trail and make your own way, you can walk along the riverbed. That's normally what I tend to do. Serenity. they have an actual running or biking or horse trail to go too. place is pretty big and just nice and quite. just beware with the high school kids smoking WEED inside the lil forest by the river thing. they act like they own the place and mad dogging you while lighting that joint. its pretty annoying that we still have those kids in such a nice area. went there once, i dont live in the area at all. came all the way from Whittier to visit a friend and she brought us there to just chill and see the view. but too bad it got ruined but Marijuana...tsk tsk. but so far its a good place just to run and to chill by the river. read more

Two areas to walk n different terrain, good amount of people were there but not too many, other moms w strollers, walkers, joggers, old people, dog walkers, bicycle people (for fun) etc. with great scenery!
