I do not recommend hiring Jose for any job. I hired Jose to install my water softener system on January 31, 2025. I paid him in cash immediately after he completed the job. He was supposed to connect the water pipe to the sewer, but instead, he took a shortcut and ran the pipe through the wall, causing the water to drain onto the driveway. I tried to get him to come back and fix it, but he didn't return until April 25, 2025--only after I told him I would leave a review if he didn't follow through. When he finally showed up, he adjusted the system settings so water wouldn't flush out weekly, and he removed a piece of the pipe, saying he would come back to properly connect it to the sewer line. It's now May 15, and he still hasn't returned to complete the work. I've been extremely patient for over three and a half months, but he has not kept his word. To make things worse, when I ran into him at the neighborhood park, he changed the direction and avoided committing to a follow-up. Tried to do a job myself, thinking that it should be an easy fix. Things have changed over the years, and I was over my head. It was late in the evening, and I needed to have my water back on. I called Rivera Plumbing and Rooter Service, and was lucky enough to get hold of Jose. I explained my dilemma and asked if he could help. He asked for little more info and a picture, and told me the approximate charge and said he would be at the house in around an hour. In about an hour, he and his helper arrived and went right to work. I am glad I called, because there was no way that I could of ever repaired the problem. It was much more in depth than I had thought. Jose had bought the correct parts on the way to the house just from the info I gave him.
