Highly recommend Javier from R&R!…read more Our bathroom had 2 issues. The shower had 2 points of discharge and water came out from both ends when we turn on the water. The control switch was not working properly and it appears to have something broken inside the switch. The second was the bathtub was dripping for months. Our property manager gave us some recommendation on handyman, and we reached out to a few others. Everyone of the handyman looked at the issues and said they couldn't do it. Javier from R&R was professional and friendly. He came, looked at the problems and gave us multiple options. We were told that our bathroom fixtures were on the older end, and replacement parts would be pretty slim. Javier said he would try his best to find ways to fix our problems, and if it can't be fix, then he would have to go with the full remove and replace option. Needless to say, the cheaper option would be less than half the price of the worst case scenario. We were presented with the cheaper options to be less than $1000, while the worst case scenario would be in the mid $2000 with our drywall cut open in order to do the fixture replacement. We would also had to then deal with redoing the drywall since that is not part of the company's scope of work. Javier came back after we accepted the estimate and was able to fix everything faster than I thought. To my surprised, he was able to find the replacement parts and fix everything. My experience with Javier and R&R has been exceptional. I highly recommend R&R to anyone with plumbing issue like i had.

We hired this company to repair a water leak and replace our water heater. While the leak itself…read morewas eventually fixed and the job did ultimately pass every city inspection, the process took about a month longer than it should have and cost us real time, stress, and lost work -- issues we feel other homeowners should know about before hiring. Work began July 5th with tank removal and drywall demo by Collen S. and his partner. The next day, they repaired the leak by replacing about 6 feet of PEX line, and a subcontractor patched the drywall. About 20 minutes after the patch was done, Collen S. told us the new water heater install was good to go. We specifically asked whether a permit was needed -- for both the leak repair and the water heater install -- and Collen S. and his partner told us twice that day that it wasn't. We requested one anyway. That turned out to matter a great deal. On July 14th, Collen S. gave us only about 30 minutes' notice before the inspector arrived, even though we had asked him to give us a day in advance so we could request time off work to be present. The inspector arrived anyway, and when we asked directly, he confirmed that both the water heater installation and the PEX line replacement had been done without the required permits -- meaning both jobs were effectively illegal until they could be properly permitted and inspected. This flatly contradicted what Collen S. and his partner had told us twice on-site. The next day, we called the company's manager, Steve, and raised three concerns: the contradictory permit information, the last-minute inspection notice, and our request for a different crew going forward. On July 21st, a new tech, Michael, introduced himself, and the City of Eastvale inspected the drywall repair. The city did not approve it and required the wall reopened for a mold check. Michael returned that same day to reopen it. On July 27th, the city inspected inside the wall, confirmed no mold, and approved the space to be patched and the water heater reinstalled. Drywall repatching happened August 3rd, and the final inspection closed everything out August 6th -- roughly a month after the leak repair began. On top of the permit issues, we were also pressured more than once to buy add-on services unrelated to our leak. Collen S. showed us "dirty" pipes at least twice in what felt less like genuine advice and more like an attempt to play on our emotions to drive a commission-based sale of a whole-house filtration system. He also pushed a full home re-pipe on separate occasions -- again, unrelated to what we'd actually called about. To be fair, the leak repair itself was solid, the city inspectors were thorough, and the job ultimately passed every inspection with no mold found. But getting there cost us two additional days off work -- one for the re-inspection that was only necessary because permits weren't pulled correctly from the start, and one for the wall re-closing after the unapproved drywall job had to be reopened -- plus significant back-and-forth to sort out miscommunication that should never have happened. We're hopeful the company will work with us to make this right, since the repairs themselves held up -- it was everything around them that fell short. A crew not knowing (or misrepresenting) basic permit requirements, and using emotional pressure tactics to upsell unrelated services, are things we don't think any customer should have to tolerate -- and we'd encourage this company to address both with its technicians directly. Because of the permit miscommunication that left our repairs technically illegal for over a week, the last-minute inspection scheduling, the repeated upselling pressure, and the extra days off work it all cost us, we cannot recommend this company.

This is a locally owned company which is a huge plus for me because I love to support local business. Scott did the installation and my parents and I were mesmerized by how clean it was. We immediately noticed the change in the water and are very happy. It doesn't stop there. We are getting epoxy installed in the garage and Scott told me not to worry, they would come disconnect everything, put it to the side for the installation and then connect it back after. When I logged on here, I saw that there were some poor reviews which peaked my curiosity. I looked at them and I can honestly tell you that these people don't know the kind of system they have. They obviously did not listen because everything was explained meticulously. They are comparing this system to systems that are subpar. Also complaints about spending a few extra dollars for service and filters. If your health and well being is not important for you to spend a little extra money and you would rather spend that money on a 10 dollar Starbuck coffee filled with diabetes then you are a lost cause. I 100% recommend this company and I just recently bought a house of my own and will have them install one there as well.

GREAT guys! Alex and his sidekick (sorry forgot to get his name) arrived between the hours agreed upon. Alex was very professional, personable and helpful. Alex was able to fix the pilot ignition issues I had with my A.O Smith ProMax water heater in no time (between 30 min & 45 min, only because I got carried away talking otherwise I am sure he could have wrapped up sooner) and a very affordable rate. Funny incident that another plumbing company literally arrived +/- 5 min before Alex whom I never called (think it was Bercks per shirt) and was to fix my air heater, not water heater but after I explained was alluding about new water heaters, etc... but was at least nice enough to suggest to find another plumber, and to my luck Alex arrived and the whole confusion was resolved. I ended up hiring Generations Plumbing Company because not only were they well recommended by a good friend that had other work done to his home that was far more labor intensive and complicated, but he also said they were decent in cost and that they did a great job.... I called Alex of Generations Plumbing on 3/7/15 and made an appointment for him to repair two toilets in my home on 3/9/15. I took the day off from work and waited for him to arrive. At the very end of my two-hour appointment window Alex called me to say he was running very late and asked if we could reschedule for another day. I was surprised that he was not calling to say he would just be there later in the day. We rescheduled for 3/13. On 3/13 I again waited during my 2-hour appointment window and Alex never arrived and never called me to say he was running late or could not make this second scheduled appointment. We had water leaking in our front yard, called out Generations Plumbing. They were at our door within an hour. The plumber Alex quickly identified our water main was leaking under concrete. They removed a section of grass, dug a trench and rerouted our water main. After the new line was installed they re planted the grass and we couldn't even notice where the lawn had been removed. I've always appreciated the quality of work, which is why I chose Encore again for my latest project involving the installation of two faucets and unclogging two slow sinks. I submitted pictures and requested a quote through Yelp, and received a firm price, which was reassuring. I also made it clear I was in no rush and could wait until after Memorial Day, as I understand the holiday can be more expensive. Although I had other quotes to consider, I opted to continue with Encore based on our past positive work. I did add a request to remove and install a toilet to the project list as well. The plumber who came out did excellent work--handled everything required, cleaned up thoroughly, and I'm very happy with the end result on that front. However, I was disappointed by the change in pricing. Upon arrival and after work began, a valve started leaking, and additional charges were introduced for replacing the valves--something that, based on the pictures provided, other companies had already flagged as necessary. The quote for the extra work and the toilet installation ended up adding nearly $1,000 to the bill. While I were able to negotiate the price down, it still felt like I was being charged over $300 an hour for labor, and an extra $650 for something that could have been anticipated ahead of time. The sudden price change was frustrating, especially since at that point, I felt locked in--the plumber was already there, and now I had a leak in the line, making it difficult to bring in another company to resolve the new issue. Additionally, I was encouraged multiple times to sign up for a yearly service plan to receive a 15% discount. While I understand the value of ongoing service agreements, this approach didn't sit well with me, particularly since other plumbers and service providers in other Calif areas I've worked with have offered the first year of their service plan for free, allowing me to evaluate the benefits before committing.

Now we're at the seventh month mark and let me say that every day I am grateful for the work that Peterson Plumbing did on our home. Peterson Plumbing did a complete replumb with PEX. In a word, Thomas is awesome! We were initially skeptical when he offered the lowest estimate for repairs and did so over the phone without coming out to the house. My wife had talked with him first when getting quotes. We had the plumber that had been servicing our home for the past five years. Their quote was about four thousand higher. Another estimate from a local plumber was double of Thomas'. I reached out to Thomas and expressed my concern about him doing an estimate without coming out. He said he lived in the area and knew the homes; he even swung by after his day was done for a quick meet and greet. His estimate stood at what he stated. Even with a record 86 drywall holes in our house; Thomas said that typical replumbs have about 35 holes. Now for the things that we found out that he and his staff did not share with us. We have hot water quicker at every faucet in the house, except one. When they replumbed, they did so more efficiently than the original piping with backbone of the plumbing being between the first and second floors. The master shower used to take over a minute to get hot water, now it's less than 10 seconds. The kitchen was about 30 seconds, now it's about 15 seconds. The downstairs bathroom stays at about 15 seconds. Plumbing took one day. Drywall repair took two days. Thomas told us it would take one or two depending on how much repair work needed to be done. Every step of the way Thomas stayed within the guidelines that he outlined for us and never came to us with extra or hidden charges, despite being the least expensive estimate. Thomas went above and beyond as well. At no charge, he redid our pool fill which had been non-operational since we moved to the house over 10 years ago. He also swapped to valves for the shower and sink faucets in the master bathroom. He also replaced a damaged aerator and ordered the replacement part from Delta himself. I didn't even know until the package arrived and he phoned to swing by and install it. If you're looking for an honest plumber who stands by his work; Thomas is your local plumber!!! Don't hesitate. I have referred Thomas more than any other local business.

Faucet water tested "Above EPA Limit" (in the red 500+), filtered refrigerator registered "Check Your Water" (in the red 301-499) and the new drinking water registered "Very Pure" (in the blue in the 0-50 range at 17!) We'd heard how bad Murrieta water is so we've been buying bottled drinking water. So glad we've finally made the change and know it's the best decision for our family.
