I highly recommend Einstein Moving Company! This was my second time using them -- the first time…read morewas nine years ago for a local move, and this time I trusted them with a long-distance move. Moving is never an easy or enjoyable process, but the Einstein team made it as smooth and stress-free as possible. The movers were incredibly professional, efficient, careful, and courteous from start to finish. I have several antiques and delicate glass and china pieces, and I was extremely impressed that everything arrived safely with no damage. There was a minor mishap involving my printer, but their claims department responded immediately and handled the situation professionally. Their willingness to quickly address the issue and make things right was another example of their excellent customer service. I hope I never have to move again, but if I do, Einstein Movers will be my first call. Thank you for making a difficult experience such a positive one!

GREAT SERVICE !!!!…read more I was a bit nervous as my last move was disastrous. But let me tell you, it was a smooth process from start to pickup, which put my worries at ease. I got detailed email follow-up calls and calls upon arrival, and I also did a video call to go through everything I was moving for the quote. And I like how they split the packing and moving to the truck. The two guys who came back to pack my apartment were great and worked so diligently packing my things. They came prepared with everything they needed, and I just got out of the way, and they did their thing Honestly, the value for the service they provided was worth it. So if you are planning to move and need a great customer, this is the place to call Updated review coming on delivery. This review was based on packing and removing everything from the apartment

I can't say enough good things about this company and their employees…read more Setting the appointment was a breeze and the move itself was flawless. Very nice workers, a strong work ethic and good manners. "Yes maam" goes a long way with me. AND the actual cost was significantly less than the quote I agreed to. Firehouse Movers is who I'll call with any future moves.

BEWARE - BAIT-AND-SWITCH PRICING!…read more I rarely leave negative reviews, but my recent experience with this company deserves one. I chose Firehouse Movers because of their glowing Google reviews, and their initial estimate was very competitive. Unfortunately, the final bill was a complete shock. To begin with, they insisted on a virtual estimate and refused to come out in person and assess the job. This was a 5000 sq ft home full of furniture, and I wanted the most accurate estimate possible. I asked multiple times for an in-person estimate, but my requests were declined. By moving day, I had sold two-bedroom sets and several other large pieces of furniture that were included in the original estimate. Even with significantly fewer items to move, the final price was more than double the original estimate. On the day of the move, I somehow went from needing two trucks, as stated in the estimate, to four. And from 9 to 17 total man hours. At the end of a long day, my husband just wanted them gone, so he reluctantly paid the bill before they could log anymore hours. When I called to discuss the bill, Firehouse claimed I had verbally approved the additional associated costs over the phone, citing a recording, which was completely false. I have asked multiple times for this recording, but I have not received it. That was not a small miscalculation. Our move was grossly underestimated. This whole experience felt misleading and dishonest. Stay away.

September 10: They have ignored my attempts to resolve this issue…read more Hired them to load my uhaul on August 30, 2025. They contacted me AFTER arrival time to state they would be late and to cancel my service because there were issues between them and U-haul Moving Help. They asked that I pay them directly, I reluctantly agreed. They arrived 75 minutes after they should have, brought no dollies, dropped items, broke items and scratched my floor (I'm a renter, my landlord is unhappy). Here is a description of the damage to the pieces of furniture damaged by their team. I have also provided a link to pictures of the damage and receipts for the costs of the furniture damaged. White dresser: The movers dropped the dresser, causing one foot to break and another to crack. Additionally, the dresser's corner was gouged, and the drawer slides no longer align, making it impossible to insert the drawers. ($839) White Headboard: gouged in the front center, scratch on front right side, support bar on back is cracked ($629) Other dresser: There is a gouge on the top and side of the dresser. Dining table: The table was scratched and deeply gouged in multiple spots when the movers stacked wrought iron chairs on top of it. The movers also stripped two bolts while attempting to remove the tabletop using improper tools. ($444.15) Dining chairs: Two chairs were scratched and gouged. ($200 [$100 each])) Photos, videos, and receipts for damaged items are available here: https://photos.app.goo.gl/5X1DJrLQDwW4UuUn7
