Prior to our move, the company conducted an in-home survey and provided an estimate they described as being on the higher end to avoid any unexpected costs. Based on that representation, we felt confident proceeding. Unfortunately, the actual experience did not align with those assurances. On moving day, the crew arrived with only one relatively small truck to handle a 4 bedroom home with an office and multiple living areas. This was clearly insufficient for the scope of the move. A second truck was brought in later, which caused significant delays. Moreover, an employee of the moving company was "fired" at our home during the move. A one day move turned into TWO days!!! Because billing is calculated in 15-minute increments, the lack of proper planning and resources directly increased the total cost. While this billing structure may appear reasonable at first, in practice it resulted in substantially higher charges due to inefficiencies. The most concerning issue arose after the move. A portion of our belongings was taken without our authorization. When we requested their return, we were informed that the items would be withheld until we paid a revised total that was significantly higher than the original estimate. At that stage, we were given no opportunity to negotiate the updated charges. This situation placed us in an extremely difficult position. Not only were we facing unexpected costs, but we were also unable to recover our own property without complying with terms we had not agreed to. Ultimately, we engaged a second moving company to retrieve our belongings, resulting in additional expenses and considerable inconvenience. Overall, our experience was marked by inadequate planning, inefficiency, and a lack of transparency. The discrepancy between the estimate and final charges, combined with the handling of our belongings, was deeply concerning. Someone from the company came to our home a week after the move to drop off our things that they still had in their possession. They did not call or text or email us to inform us that they will be coming. Moreover, they spoke poorly about us to our painter who was there at that time. This is one of many examples of the unprofessionalism from this company. We strongly recommend that others exercise caution when considering this company. read more

Honestly, when I called for a quick move. (This was a few years ago) They were so rude and looked agitated to me. They yelled, smoked cigarette, and played the loudest country music i've ever heard! I payed 300$ for it for NOTHING AT ALL!!!!! read more

I agree, unprofessional, rude, and will claim they are Christians. The packers stacked on the use of supplies and time. the packers placed one small item into a large box 4x and covered each time with a lot of paper; only to then shove items into another box and break them, and did not mark boxes with items that were inside only the room they were located when packed up. They played loud music, smoked cigarettes near the front door, and please be advised - they did not get vaccinated and told me there were not going to get vaccinated. The movers will talk bad to you, stand around, call their girlfriends, drop boxes while moving asked me how to move furniture out of the house. When they would just stand around, I asked them, if there was a problem, and the lead mover gets irritated and tried to make it out to be my fault for them moving slowly. He debated about the damage they caused to my furniture and appliances and did fit in front of the owners because they know the owners would do nothing. Writing a claim for damage is worthless. Even the corporate office has done nothing to stop their unprofessional behavior and attacks on paying customers. The owner of Tyler Moving and Storage on Bennett Ave Is running a very UNPROFESSIONAL Moving Company with a crew who is verbally abusive, does not work, sits in the truck, argumentative, bullied me, and VERY SCAREY!!!! The owner and boss comes off at first, as very nice and thorough, however he disappears once the job starts, letting his crew sit in the truck. The owner became very threatening, argumentative, disrespectful and has a hair trigger! I had to call the police to get them out of my home!!!! They left all of my things in disrepair and left me high and dry. I hope no one has to be subjected to what I had to go through today!!!! After speaking with the Atlas Company, which Tyler Moving Co is affiliated with, their main office informed me that TYLER MOVING and STORAGE in TYLER TEXAS, has A BAD REPUTATION!!! Best Movers EVER! Paul and his crew were fabulous. Had me out of my 3 bedroom duplex and into my new home in 5 hours. Amazing.

This company, also known as Tyler Moving and Storage moved my family in June of this year. (06/2015) After a broken $1800 TV that was packed by the movers ( I was told it wasn't packed properly, my fault apparently), broken crystal from my aunt's 1955 wedding (packed in the front of the van to be crushed by the thousands of pounds of other boxes), various other broken vases and a dresser that looked like one of the movers dropped it off the back of the moving truck I was offered $100 of "good will" money because I didn't pay for the extra insurance. The moving company made me wait 90 days for that nugget of info after I was made to fill out the paper for the insurance company and submit it. What for I have no idea. I would not recommend this company to move steel balls much less my home again. Thank you for taking the time to read this and good luck finding anybody else except these people to move you.
