The installers didn't lay any protectors down on flooring, or any where did that matter. They needed to install pipes thru my sewing room and several other rooms: they did nothing to protect existing surfaces, nor did they bother to tell me (I was working in my home office during install, it would have been easy for me to come down and cover my stuff). I spent much more time after they left, cleaning after them , than I'd have spent covering my things in advance. Almost all contractors I've worked with address protecting existing surfaces in advance of job, so I didn't think I needed to ask about it.

Here are the tenant's comments: "[Melcher's is] a great outfit. The technician, Cory, was a super nice guy and knew exactly what to do and had the right tools to do it. There was a big frozen ball [of lint] up in this roof vent, but he was able to break it up and blow everything out with compressed air...he had a special tool on the end of the airline that kind of whips around and broke everything up and blew it all out...when he went and looked [he] could see all the stuff kind of blown out onto the roof...[he] tested the air flow and it was great. These guys had a very specialized truck and equipment that were certainly prepared to do the job no problem. [I] just did my first load of laundry and the dryer did a great job in just under 50 minutes. They were so great to work with!"
