Upon my arrival, I was warmly greeted by a very professional young man and the window. He pointed out my options, I selected one and headed through. A second man guided me into the rail which pulls your car along the wash. After the first wash didn't do the job, I pulled around and I was graciously allowed to go through a second time. After the second time didn't do the job, I pulled and poked the remaining snow and ice off the car and drove around for a third pass, which I was allowed to do, free of charge. The third time didn't the trick. Although I didn't take off a star for the wash not doing a superb job, I felt at best that would be just a half star off. The saving grace was the staff being very friendly and helpful (allowing a few extra passes). Customer service is very important to me and the Ship Shape Car Wash had that in spades! One note for the owners (if they review these comments) is to perhaps turn up the pressure or water temp? Overall, a very pleasant experience!

My car was in dire need of a wash and interior clean while visiting them so I thought I would give it a chance despite so many negative reviews. I'm glad I did! I will say- you get what you pay for. My expectations weren't super high, but you can see the before and after pictures for yourself. The staff was very friendly, polite, and professional. When I pulled into the full service bay I was asked if there was a specific area of the interio I wanted focused on and before I left they had me look over the cat to make sure it was to my liking. Was it perfect? No, but for me not having to do it and for the price I think it was a great job and value.

We live on gravel roads so it can get pretty dirty. Well, my first surprise was on how quickly it they were done cleaning it! My second surprise was after seeing what a poor job they did cleaning the interior of my truck! After I got home I spent an hour cleaning the interior myself and at 72 I'm no spring chicken. Needless to say, I will not be going back there and I won't be buying their unlimited car washes anymore either. They're not saving me anything if I have to go home and do the job myself.

I also really like that vacuums are available for use, and the staff have always been friendly and welcoming. That said, for the cost, I expect a more complete clean. The front of my vehicle--where bugs and grime build up--rarely comes out clean. I've noticed there's an automatic sprayer aimed at the front, but honestly, it doesn't do much. What's really needed is the handheld sprayer that staff can use while vehicles go through, but it's never used. I understand the importance of keeping cars moving efficiently, but for the price, customers want and deserve a car that actually looks clean. Another frustration is that staff on-site can't (or don't) assist with changes to your wash plan. Anytime there's an issue, you're told to contact customer service instead of being helped in the moment. It would be much more convenient and reassuring if small adjustments or questions could be handled right then and there. Overall, I do like using Crew Carwash, but seeking other unlimited wash plans at different places. For $60, they vacuumed everywhere, cleaned all of the seats and dashes, and made the floor mats look spotless. It was a complete transformation. And it all only took about 45 minutes (there's a great coffee shop a couple blocks away, look at my reviews for info about that while you wait).
