He was able to order the window and have a tech come out the next day to the hotel and replace it and clean everything up while we had appointments at Mayo's. They are…read moreefficient, remember our vehicles and preferences (I sometimes forget to mention that I want full synthetic, the owner just remembers; he knows us and our vehicles so makes appropriate choices based on that), no upselling, shows us the parts he has replaced, and is very open to questions. He will search for salvage parts when appropriate, even though I'm sure it would be much easier to just order the new, plus they could take a larger markup from a more expensive part. If that isn't enough, today was a very cold January day, and when I arrived, my vehicle was parked close to the door and warmed up in anticipation of me coming. Just amazing. My only concern is that they will get busier because they are so awesome!

During that time, they've done the work needed on my two vehicles. More importantly, they've NOT done the work that wasn't needed. Several times, I've had oil changes done elsewhere (Black's doesn't do cheap oil changes), and have been told that something needed attention (transmission flush, brake fluid exchange, new belts, etc. You get the picture, I'm sure.) Upon taking it to Black's, they've looked at the alleged problem and told me what really needed to be done, and mostly that was nothing that was needed. So, if I add up all the money they saved me, I expect it would add up to a nice dollar amount over those 10 years. In more than 10 years, I haven't had a gripe about the quality of the work these folks do.

They had the best prices (by far!) in town and interacted with me like a real person without all the salesman pitches that others had. My experience was less formal than with other places I checked out, but I actually preferred that. When I picked up my car I was so happy because the new paint job matched the rest of the car exactly. He did fine work at a very fair price and I would definitely do business there again.
