I'm picky about how my hair is cut so it's challenging to find a place I like and I'm comfortable with. I walked in and sat down and had a conversation with a guy waiting on the two ladies cutting other customers hair. Before my previous Barber I've had some bad experiences at places that made me uncomfortable and kept charging more and more for a haircut. So I was checking this place out. The ladies Angie and Charlette immediately made me feel welcome although I had never had a lady Barber before I was willing to give them a try. Charlette began her magic with her scissors and boy was she great for someone new at this! She gave a first class haircut paying attention to the smallest details. She hot lathered and gently shaved my neck and around my ears. She listened and went out of her way to make me happy and do a Great Job at what I thought was a very reasonable price! These are great ladies that love their work and making their customers happy. I was extremely pleased with my experience and the great job Charlette did with my haircut. Very sharp and very talented young lady. Will definitely be going back and actually called a friend right after I left who was looking for a Barber also! Thanks Charlette you were great! Will

Our friend was pleased with Chelo and now I see exactly what he meant. The first time I took my son here, Chelo personally cut my boys hair and did an outstanding job. I observed all of the barbers here and they really take their time, are perfectionists and all about the attention to detail. Yes, you will wait, however it is well worth it. I visited a few weeks ago and even though they were busy, one of their barbers took my boy right away and wow, he was outstanding. Truly, whoever cuts your hair here will do a fantastic job. I expected a student to cut my hair for their experience and I would pay them... instead I was charged $25 for the haircut by a "licensed barber" and he did a horrible job, even after the repeated fixes I requested. Since I came with my father I assumed the price was for both of us but it wasn't. It took the barber about 45 minutes or so to cut/trim my hair and when I got up I had to go outside and knock off all the excess hair left over. The students and staff were not dressed as professionally as I would have expected from a Barber School, and the atmosphere was inappropriate. They played vulgar standup comedy (Joe Rogan) on the TV for "Ambiance" which discussed topics such as sexual preference, politics, sexism, racism, etc... Also, the price list was not easily displayed on the wall or within view of the customers and I had to wonder around before finally finding it laying flat of the front counter partially concealed by some clipboards. When I went to pay they acted like they didn't have a card machine and I later found it as well. I have attached a picture of the price list so that no one else will be confused when choosing a barber to try out.
