The owner (Mike) greeted me, explained he was committed to two scheduled appointments but assured me one of his colleagues could see me. He offered me coffee and invited me to wait. Before my coffee could cool the personable Duane introduced himself and took a few minutes to chat about what I wanted and quickly got down to business. His skills with clippers and razor were immediately clear and I was trimmed, shaved and neatly tended to with uncommon graciousness and respect. The charges for the services seemed very fair and included "value added" items such as hot towels and lotions. As important was the precision of barbering was, more important was the gentlemanly attitude uniformly displayed by staff and clientele. The artwork and atmosphere is tasteful and indeed educational and inspirational. A comfortable setting for people of all ages and genders.

Before I get into the negatives, I must say I really liked the haircut I got from Gia. Even though she did cut her hand while giving me a haircut (which did not inspire confidence) I did really like the end product. She also trimmed my beard, which was a nice touch. That said, I arrived 10 minutes early but still waited 30 to get my hair cut. The waiting area was nice and the staff was attentive, but there were two employees out front doing what seemed to e personal work. Do they not have a break room? It's hard to recommend this place. The service was good but pricey and the overall experience was not great. It is a nice space and it was busy so I assume there are many that like it.

I'm picky about how my hair is cut so it's challenging to find a place I like and I'm comfortable with. I walked in and sat down and had a conversation with a guy waiting on the two ladies cutting other customers hair. Before my previous Barber I've had some bad experiences at places that made me uncomfortable and kept charging more and more for a haircut. So I was checking this place out. The ladies Angie and Charlette immediately made me feel welcome although I had never had a lady Barber before I was willing to give them a try. Charlette began her magic with her scissors and boy was she great for someone new at this! She gave a first class haircut paying attention to the smallest details. She hot lathered and gently shaved my neck and around my ears. She listened and went out of her way to make me happy and do a Great Job at what I thought was a very reasonable price! These are great ladies that love their work and making their customers happy. I was extremely pleased with my experience and the great job Charlette did with my haircut.
