We were members for several years and spent thousands of dollars on tennis lessons. We enjoyed the…read moreclub, which is why this was so disappointing. I feel like their policies and customer service are not meant to be relational. I told them over the phone I wanted to end my membership. They even acknowledged they had notes showing I requested to cancel. They did not make it clear that I would continue to be billed because we had stopped using the gym. Because I didn't also submit it in writing, they continued charging me. I I still had to pay for the 30 day notice period and even a $10 fee after I'd already told them I wanted to cancel. I understand that's what the contract says, but I was disappointed there wasn't more flexibility for a loyal customer who had a misunderstanding. I felt like they were taking a stance as bill collector immediately and I left feeling like the policy mattered more than the relationship. If you join, just make sure you cancel in writing. A phone call isn't enough.

But besides that, nothing has changed here in decades..no renovation, no improvements. It's drab and dated, and extra dirty lately. The weight room isn't even all that old but it looks broken down, cluttered and uncared for. Indoor tennis courts are absolutely filthy. Come on Logan City, get with it. Lets set some money aside and at the bare minimum spruce this place up. Even better, gut this place, redo it right and add on an indoor pool. Most every other city Logan's size in the state has already done so. Municipool never should have been sold without a plan in place to replace it. Sky View and Mountain Crest have pools...but I digress.. Logan's rec center has issues. Biggest is it lacks the pool and the other family-friendly activities newer facilities have. It badly needs a modern renovation.
