Parking is tricky on Sundays - the market was packed. The park itself is so nice and I love how the vendors were set up all throughout. I also noticed there were restrooms that were not port a pottys. They had a variety of vendors, food trucks, etc. This market is bigger than I expected, and I will go even earlier next time.

They do have some covered table areas and benches to relax in if you just want to enjoy the surroundings. I like the chill atmosphere. I was absolutely floored by the expanse of this park. Even as an adult, I found this park to spark that childlike excitement. With huge slides, tepee hut style enclosures, and levels to the park, it was super exciting. A great spot for kids and adults alike!

I love looking out and I especially get excited when I see dolphins! The river is right off the main San Marco Blvd and can be easily walked to from the main little part of town. It is also arguably the best spot in town to watch the sunset. The sun sets RIGHT over the river and it is always a great sight. People bring folding chairs and blankets to sit and watch. I've seen people bring V Pizza to eat while looking out at the river, and I need to keep that in mind for next time lol! Note that there is no designated parking or benches. There is a crosswalk with a ramp up to the walk way, so this is handicap accessible. Don't miss this beautiful spot in San Marco.

The nicest playground I have seen in the area so far. There is a water fountain, clean bathrooms and the Clarke House Museum. There are volleyball courts , walking trails and a botanical garden. There are multiple pavilions you can rent for parties or sit under to have a picnic lunch. There is only one thing lacking at this beautiful park..parking. The parking lot is extremely small. If you don't get here early, you have to find somewhere down a side street and walk.

Came here just for a little walk and to check out the courts and they were busy, there's not a lot of of them so that's probably why they're so busy but the park itself is so beautiful and well-maintained. There's a little lake in the middle and even a community garden that you can stroll through. It was very quaint and small but perfect for a little stroll and there were even some cute ducks here. I would love to try to come to play pickle ball one day and find out the best time to do so. It's so nice to have parks like this in the area to get outside!

Northbank walking bridge is re-built and that's fantastic news for Riverside and downtown…read moreresidents. This is a breathtaking way to start your day. Always a breeze, plenty of walking room, plenty to take in a get yourself centered in the city. The new walkway is artistic and beautiful and this connects Riverside to downtown. I know it's a crucial part of Jacksonville being the great city it's meant to be. This is a 5 star experience but businesses need to get involved here. Containers or stand ups with food and drink would be ideal here. It would be great for the city if they built around this and I truly hope they do.

As a woman traveling alone, I felt safe walking here by myself during the evening. There were plenty of other people enjoying the river walk that I never questioned my safety. The other one has parking and a playground, this one is a little stretch notable for having a skyline view of the city. While limited in scope, at least when I was there it had one of the cleaner port-a-potties I've ever seen. The water here isn't the kind that you could go in, and the area is next to a bunch of private homes and their docks, but for anyone seeking an interesting view with a breeze it makes for a nice stop.

The park is transforming - via huge public assistance from neighbors & friends and the City of Jacksonville. Hogans Creek flows through the park and connects it to what will hopefully be Jacksonville's "Central Park" one day. Named for architect Henry John Klutho - a man that left his mark on Jacksonville - the park is a reminder & a vision for better times in this neighborhood. They've recently added a sculpture walkway as you enter the park - curated by a UNF sculpture professor and featuring some Jacksonville artists!

We had to use our GSP to find bc it is well hidden. Once here I was surprised all that it had to offer! They had a well constructed community center though closed now, , I guess you can read it?!I They had basketball courts, lots of pickleball courts (all being used), swings/monkey bars, etc, big multi-purpose field which our pack of 8 year old boys and girls were playing kick ball in and loving it. There is green space too where we had sack races, tug of war....you reserve (or rent) a pavilion where we had our food, drinks, cake etc. Like I said it's a very nice park and well used. One thing was the restrooms, they could be updated.
