I went to this place with my friend, and it was an amazing experience! We saw all sorts of birds and even an alligator. What's more, we got to feed them! Today, I discovered that alligators love to eat bread too.

Great park!! So much to enjoy here. The playground is great and has plenty to climb and jump on. Lots of trail to walk and scenery to view and see. A nice covered pavilion area near the bathroom. Plenty of picnic tables. We spend a lot of time in the Scout park area with friends in our homeschool co-op. We've seen a few raccoons in that area too. They also have a community garden my friend has space in so she gives us garden tours sometimes. There is lots of shade across the park which makes things way more enjoyable. If you are looking for a new family adventure, this is a great one!

I went to a get together here and I absolutely love the surroundings. Very family oriented, scenery is just beautiful, and the sunset there was amazing. There is a boat/truck/ and deck parking. There were people kayaking on the river and the boaters were out as well. This park is diverse and caters to everyone. The kids have a playground, there is a few spaces and pavillions- I believe they are available for rent. The parking was limited and apparently Sunday is when everyone comes out it was very crowded. I really enjoyed myself and the weather was perfect.

This is a wonderfully beautiful park along the Hillsborough River in Temple Terrace. Gorgeous. Cypress trees grow in the river and along the shore. There's a boat launch and wooden dock. Lovely areas of shade and a playground. There are also a lovely boardwalk path along the shore, tennis courts and a gazebo. There is a cross commemorating the one erected by Spanish explorers in the area in the 1750s. A historical marker is nearby. There was pink goop at the base of the cypress trees along the shore and I found out they are apple snail egg deposits. There were also muscovy ducks, ibis, and some other birds in the area including some pretty "friendly" one that I think must get fed.. This is a terrific Tampa gem and great place to escape and relax or go for a walk.

Nice park! Beautiful views. Lots of birds. Not a lot of room for casting for fish but still a nice place.

Nice wooden boardwalk type path, that winds through the cypress trees along the banks of the Hillsborough river.

During the winter months when the sun sets early at 530-6, the park really should have lights for the playground at least until 8pm. There's not enough parking spots for this park and parking on side of road has signs that say no parking which is ridiculous because everyone parks on the side of the road anyways. There's also a gorgeous view of the distant Tampa skyline overlooking the water. They have swinging benches where you can enjoy the view of the water and it's so serene. Unfortunately, there is usually a pier & boardwalk you can walk out upon as well. But (assumingly) due to Hurricane Helene & Milton it is still closed down and under construction. That was definitely a bummer but will make the park that much better once it's open again. Such a lovely little area that's almost a hidden gem in Tampa!

There is a vast area of netting that connects kids to many areas of Sesame Street Safari of Fun including Elmo's Treehouse Trek, the Count's Zambezi Rally, and more! Infants are not permitted and adults must be accompanied by a child. Yes it sounds backwards but it is their policy so that the area is mostly occupied by kids. This attraction's Sesame Street mascot is the Cookie Monster, who is a blue furry monster with googly eyes and an insatiable appetite. Cookie Monster's primary craving is cookies, but he can and often does consume anything and everything, from apples and pie to letters, flatware, and hubcaps. When Cookie Monster eats something, he makes a very distinct, loud munching "noise", often interpreted as "OMM-nom-nom-nom..." & says "Me want cookie!" Instead of "I want a cookie". After winning a game show contest, Cookie Monster comically choose 1 cookie over an array of luxurious much more valuable and better prizes.

Baybridge Park is located in the Westchase Suburban District of West Tampa off Linebaugh Avenue, Montague Street, and Bridgeton Drive. Baybridge Park has a Tot Lot playground for smaller kids 2 to 5 years old and a large playground for older kids 5 to 12 years old. The Tot playground is lower to the ground with 4 small slides and multiple obstacles that are friendly for smaller kids. The large playground has 6 different slides, several obstacles, several points of entry, and even has some teachable games including a traffic sign game, life stages of a butterfly, diagram of the planets, and alphabet letters. Baybridge Park also has swings, a nature trail, a bike path, bathrooms, water fountains, shaded picnic areas, and a large soccer field! Baybridge Park is one of the few parks that has outdoor exercise equipment which is great to keep parents busy while their kids play in the playground and they can still keep an eye on their kids! The Baybridge Park connects to the Westchase community on the other side of Linebaugh via a tunnel going under the street to allow families with little ones safe passage without having to worry about traffic! The Baybridge Park's Tot playground and swing area is covered to protect your little ones from the sun but their big playground is not fully covered. There is a shade at the top of the fort but that's about it. This playground and surrounding area is always very clean and nice. If you're in the Westchase Area of Tampa and have young kids, I definitely recommend checking this park out!

One of my favorite playgrounds in Tampa bay…read more This is what you do for a half day on a weekend. We park at the parking lot that is closest to playground. It's the first one you come up upon on your left when you're driving down the street. We put in for three hours of parking which comes out to $7.35. We walk to the playground and while the kids play, I go to the outside bar and grab two skinny margaritas, which are very reasonably priced. Then we go to Doc Ford's or another restaurant close by for a meal. And then depending how crazy the kids are, we may take them back to the playground. This is such a fun place for the kids, half of it is shaded with a canopy and half of it is shaded by trees which means it's hit or miss whether the play equipment is shaded. I highly recommend putting on sunscreen. It is close to a small beach and splash pad also so you can walk amongst the three if it gets really hot. There's an area for younger kids 2 to 5 and the other part is for kids 5 to 12. Bring cardboard because kids like to sit on the cardboard and ride down a tiny hill that's there. Usually though there is cardboard left by other kids, but if you go first thing in the morning, you should be the people that bring the cardboard. It can be pretty crowded. All the kids seem to get along and my kids who are five and seven have an absolute blast year every time. I highly recommend.

My young boys and I were disappointed to find it had been Renovated for some time now with toxic Turf and plastic/metal playgrounds. It is also incredibly packed, but I think that's also because there is a sports complex here and I'm assuming many younger kids are here playing on the playground while older ones play sports. They have multiple swing options, a small playground for younger kids, a larger playground for older kids, and various climbing/play structures. It is completely turf but is surrounded by a concrete walkway- so pretty wheelchair and stroller friendly. It is pretty shaded as well so you aren't being blasted by the sun.
