Drove down from North Boulder because I was told on the phone that they had 5+ different flavors of Rubi pods. The second I came in they asked what I was looking for, I said Rubi pods, and they told me they had none at all. Then when I explained how I called a few hours earlier one staff member rudely accused me of "not believing him" and told me to go back and look for myself. I wasted my time and gas because I was misinformed by a staff member over the phone, only to have this rude interaction in the store. It left a bad taste in my mouth... I really liked this dispensary before, which is why I was willing to drive over an hour to go to this particular store, but after tonight I don't think I'll be coming back. Update: Service just became significantly worse by the owner/manager's choice. Now they require a PIN for your card and then they have an odd service fee of $2.75 , from which you get $2.00 in cash back. What? Going somewhere else now. Sad as I like the people here a lot. But their product seems to be dwindling in quality & some of their staff have a horrible attitude- Cecelia in particular has given me the stank face & made me feel unwelcome on multiple occasions. I just got weed from there like I have done many times. I took one hit and it tasted like burning plastic, I went back to see if they'd reimberse me with another strain and told em how it tasted. They said they don't do exchanges which I was fine with but I told em they should take that product off the shelf and before I even got finished talking the girl interrupted me and said "I should not come back if I'm gonna talk shit" Which I wasn't. I drove quite a distance to River Rock, specifically because they are open until 10 PM... or so I thought. I arrived at 9:46 PM, bright neon "OPEN" sign still illuminated in the window. I rang the doorbell outside, and an employee emerged from the back room, only to wave at me from inside to go away. "We're closed," I could see her mouthing. I tried to signal to her that I'd be real quick, as I drove all that way just to pick up a pre-roll. But she ignored me and turned away. Perhaps if this store intends to close at 9:45, it would be courteous of them to publish their closing time as 9:45 and not 10 PM. That way I would not have wasted time, gas, and effort driving all that way for nothing. read more

I have been a customer still 2011 and never have been treated so disrespectful. I was over changed by some lady as I asked her about it. she start going off about my tax exempt papers. I politely told her that wasn't what I was talking about. I continue to try to explain to her that's the last time I was here she overcharged me by 20 something dollars on the 2 ounces for a 100. she began to be irate and proceeded to say I'm gonna go ask her manager. when the manager Lisa finally got involved she was being rude saying that somebody didn't know me while I know Norton and John and I'm sure they wouldn't approve of these ladies attitude and unprofessionalism. With that been said the manager Lisa proceeds to overcharge me again and when I began to speak up she told me if I don't like I can leave. once again I have to explain on weedmaps it state 2 ounce for a 100 she said that was for members only. which wasn't stated on weedmaps and I have to argue this and produce proof. which I did. read more

Just had a horrible experience at Riverrock on 6th Ave. My doctor prescribed me a certain amount of product that I am allowed to purchase from the dispensary where I AM A MEMBER and they are required to honor that every day. The bud tender, Jared, accused me of being a drug dealer when I went in to pick up my normal prescription and denied me my medicine. I couldn't believe my rights as a patient were being questioned and revoked by a boy who wears his hair in a bun.Compliance did not happen in the store this day. Jared did not follow compliance. He had no right to question a patients' rights and I believe that his badge should be revoked. I know the rights I have and I will be reaching out to The Marijuana Enforcement Division, in the matter of Jared's badge. Jared is not an employee I would want in my establishment solely based on his inability to understand the laws put in place by the MED. read more
