I attempted to contact Laura 4 times before the wedding and asked her if I should have a copy of our itinerary and timeline for the driver, she finally responded and told me to send her my itinerary and she would forward it to her driver. I even went as far as to include mapquest directions. The driver showed up at the wrong time. He had never been given anything from Laura. We spent a half hour trying to explain to the driver where to go and after each stop pull up directions for the next place. He then wanted to drop us off a half hour early and we spent at least 15 minutes arguing with the driver and showing him proof of email and confirmed times that Laura neglected to provide him with. In total we were shorted an hour and 15 minutes of our time. Upon reaching out to Laura the owner, I received no response through text message so I emailed her as well with a read receipt so I know she read it. She told me she would call me that night. Late after being in bed I received a message saying that it was late and she could call. I told her I was in bed and was requesting an hour back of our time we paid as it was shorted, not to mention the awful customer service we received from her and our driver. After several failed attempts of contacting her the following day she responded with "I have too many obligations and commitments going on and unfortunately responding to your issues aren't more important." I told her I wanted an hour ($320 refund back) she responded with "you aren't getting any money back!" I highly recommend going elsewhere for your service- especially if it's your wedding day. We paid a lot of money for them to do their job on the one day that was most important and got horrible horrible customer service. What a waste of money!

I even emailed the Event Coordinator Marie Fende and Event Manager Kayla Myers that we had been working with for the wedding over a week ago about these issues with no response from either of them. We were asked THREE days before our wedding to move where we had planned to have our reception since the resort was having a karaoke event in the bar near the reception room and they didn't want to figure out whose drinks should be free and who they needed to charge for. The chairs weren't set up for our ceremony so my husband started to do it in his tux, a bridesmaid found a staff member who said that this "wasn't his gig" and he needs to be working on the golf course (it's closed for the season) and not working on a wedding. Our cake and cupcakes were all thrown out by staff at the end of the night even though they were not asked to and they were on our personal trays we brought in. We also had two bottles of homemade moonshine in with our belongings that came up missing the next day. Staff yelled at our bridal party for my husband & I taking a golf cart that was supposed to have been left outside for us to make it easier to take pictures on their property, there was never an apology offered after they realized they were supposed to have one out for us. A bridesmaid and myself were unable to get into the space where we were having the reception the morning of and we were told by a front desk employee that housekeeping unlocks that but she had no way to contact them, but would tell them IF she saw them. Our officiant found bugs in his drink, when he told staff about it she replied with "Okay, do you want a new one or what?" Another relative, who I will admit was fairly intoxicated, walked up to the bar and said "I'll take whatever" to which the bartender responded "Oh I bet you fucking will." The 2nd bartender walked past my husband saying "I don't get paid enough for this shit." Almost all of our family members and guests told us that they had called several times leaving voicemails trying to reserve a room but no one ever called them back. One guest was told she needed to listen to the message a little bit better on when to call because it clearly states they're in the their winter hours and not always available to answer the phone, our guest was calling in early September when they were still open during regular hours. The shower nozzle in the "presidential suite" they gave us for the night didn't work, I basically had to splash myself with tub water to try to get clean. The venue is beautiful and we got a lot of amazing pictures, but to spend thousands of dollars and to be treated the way we were, I couldn't recommend anyone get married here, vacation here, or let alone eat here.
