She explained how she'd wanted to go back to Italy for years and had finally gotten a chance earlier this spring. She raved about the food and the architecture and the prosciutto and her family. At one point she had the pleasure of attending a party with over 100 relatives. She was so passionate and so grateful and it was so fun to listen to her that the room could have been a dump and I still probably would have enjoyed my stay. But naturally with someone this enthusiastic the place sparkled. The retro furniture and the light blue tile were just awesome. And the flaming red carpet made me smile every time I looked at it. The cool room and wonderfully warm welcome made my stay a joy. And Gabriela, the next time I eat prosciutto I'll be thinking of you, Sweetie.

Very crowded place and it is right by a railroad track that gets plenty loud and noisy. They say…read morethey have rules but three dogs were left by their owners all week to roam freely and bark. Very dusty, especially since no one drives at the 5mph. Extremely low water pressure at our site and forget WIFI as it was never available at our site. The manager was just downright rude and extremely unfriendly. It is a cheap place to stay but that's about the only positive I can think of for it.

Which is why I was shocked that they would allow one of their guests to display a Huge religious banner surrounding their Lot, as well as a fairly decent sized Mannequin dressed up as Donald Trump which was placed directly in front of their camper on the main road. The mannequin wasn't as disturbing as the owners bizarre behavior towards it, which made us both extremely uneasy. It was almost as if he was worshiping it in some way.

It's always amazing to me how a cemetery can be in the middle of a town or city, yet still seem as…read moreif it is miles away because of the peacefulness and solitude once inside. IMCP is bordered by multiple industrial sites, yet, once inside, you'd never know it. The cemetery is nothing fancy, it's your typical smaller community cemetery with various sections, large, small, and flat stones throughout. The entrance recently was spruced up with a new arch to welcome visitors, and eventually, all the lots and sections will be labeled. There is a small office building right near the entrance where you can enquire as to where the grave you're looking for can be found. The man that helped me was very nice and provided me with a map of the grounds. Office hours vary. I was able to find about 85% of the graves I was looking for, because they had upright stones. The few I couldn't locate, I assume had flat stones, and the ground still had a few inches of snow on it, so I wasn't about to go trudging blindly through. I'll find them on my next trip up. **Of note, Eugene Ronzani, the second coach of the Packers is buried here, as well as the families of Tom Izzo (head basketball coach at Michigan State) and Steve Mariucci (sportscaster and former 49ers and Lions head coach). 31/2025
