I have owned and had painted three other houses and this was the worst paint job I have ever seen in my life. My neighbors were appalled at the work. This was a $7000 job back in 2019. The owner didn't come and check on them. The project manager never came and checked on them. He finally sent out a guy who hand painted the entire house and who also was appalled at how this owner of this paint company was behaving. I told them I wanted a discount for not only the time I had to put in it, but because he broke his verbal agreement about having a project manager check often on the paint job. That is the only reason I hired this company, but he lied to me about that. I will never recommend this company. After the second guy came in handpainted the house. I approved it and he called the owner and the owner came out immediately, which he hadn't done before., Why because he wanted his money right now. I said I wanted money off and he said no and he's very tall and over me and threatened me and threatened to sue me and that I would have a letter from his lawyer the next morning. I said go ahead. I have pictures of everything. I've documented everything and I will sue you for not keeping your word and for three weeks of my time trying to deal with this company. They absolutely suck. A friend of mine who lives in Monroe where this company is told me that people in her neighborhood had hired them and their paint jobs were completely a mess. So do not hire this company. This owner is not a fair person and he is threatening and angry when you. Confront him. Never never ever use this company. When he came out that last time, I also tried to show him that they dripped paint all over my stamped concrete patio and he yelled at me no no no you can't start adding things on and I'm like what, your people did this and you need to correct it and he said no way it's too late. I hadn't even paid him yet.! Horrible company, horrible owner, workers just it on said they were done and it looked horrible. I have pictures of all the places they patched and it is the worst job I've ever seen. I can't see enough do not . The bathroom was super small and the lighting was not that good. I had to bring in a clip-on light in order to see while I was shaving. The TV was old and the programing was terrible. Internet access was bad so I had to use my hotspot on my iPhone to get internet access on my laptop. I spoke to the manager about it several times but he was unable to do anything about it. I believe it was because the room out front was not close enough to the router. Either way the internet service was poor. If your going to stay here bring your own pillows. The pillows were old and not that good. Also the bedding is not that good. To stay warm I had to use my sleeping bag as a comforter. Please don't get me wrong, you get what you pay for. One good thing is there is a washer/dryer on the premise, coin operated. The best thing about Brookside was the manager and the price. It's possible that some of the units in the middle or back may have been nicer or larger. The gas station next door has good coffee and plenty of convenience food. The motel is located close to everything in Monroe so getting around is easy. While there were drawbacks, I would stay there again.

Lots of chicken as the main protein they serve is what my dad says. My mother was supposed to be on a diabetic diet, and we were paying for it, but no one was monitoring, so she ate what she wanted, so i had to ask several times to get the charges for the diet plan removed. They didnt give me a full refund, not sure why, but im ok with it. We are going to get hit with 6% price increase on Jan 1st. not to happy about that since my parents are on a fixed income. The care is good. We pay for my mother to have her medications dispensed and her glucose monitored. Which im glad they do very well. Thats why they had to move, due to my mom not being able to do that herself or my 91 yr old dad, at home. This place has given them the time not to worry about meal prep, home upkeep or having to go get groceries, plus all the things living on your own has. They join in the activities, play cards, interact socially, which has been very important. So overall Brookdale of Monroe is a nice place for them. Just wish it wasn't so expensive, and if they make it past their retirement fund, i will have to move them to a place that takes Medicaid.

I had to leave to go to an appointment but they sent me photos when they were done. I think they must've worked at least 10 or 11 hours... And the total was $1395 before tip. It was going to be around $975 without the shampoo. I think that is such a fair price for all the work they did.
