4/4 = 5? Yep. We've been here 4 times, and we've been happy 4 times. That adds up to 5 stars. In general, I hate online ordering. So, at RB, there is still that option (using QR codes to order and pay). But now, if you'd rather, you can order your food and pay at the hostess station. In both cases, the food is brought to your table. Speaking of food, RB is pretty damned good. The brisket, the mac and cheese, the greens? Hell yeah. I would say that the greens could use a little pork flavor. But in general, the Mrs and I were very happy. Liked the sauces, too. The atmosphere is clean, open, industrial, and includes 10 PINBALL machines! And a mirror ball? Ok. The benches are padded for comfort. The prices? BBQ is expensive, but I'll put in a little overtime...I'll (we will) be back! 5 stars!

We came here because we heard the area was getting a lot of buzz. We popped in mostly because of the pinball, but a new bar and BBQ spot in Toledo? We had to try it. I ordered the Dolly Tea Tini and was very delighted by the sweet tea flavor with a nice punch at the end. We wanted to try a little something so we tried the deep fried deviled eggs. Now, I know it may sound odd, but man were these so delicious!!!

We had a wonderful time here. It was our first time coming here and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The vibe is very relaxed and warm. It felt like having barbecue in your neighbors backyard As for the food the deep fried deviled eggs were to die for. We gobbled them down so quickly. They were crispy on the outside but soft and flavorful on the inside. It's a very refreshing take on a classic. The barbecue was outstanding. The meat was perfectly seasoned. My only draw back was I felt they added too much sauce which took away from the meat but that's my personal opinion. I know there's people that love a saucy barbecue The chicken sandwich was juicy and well seasoned. The onions added a nice crunch and cut the sweetness of the barbecue sauce If you're looking for good barbecue and want to support local business this is the place for you!

Most items sold out by 7 PM on a Friday. Bummer.

Our first visit collided with a "Party in the Park" event--loud music, a boomer stampede, and a menu wiped out before sunset. Total chaos. But on the return trip? The food absolutely delivered: tough brisket but great crust, chewy-yet-delicious burnt ends, glorious deep-fried deviled eggs, and sauces that practically held your hand (vinegar based white BBQ my personal favorite.) Just skip the Mac & Cheese - it's nothing to write home about. Service was vapor, lighting is mysteriously dim, and no one explains anything--but the BBQ itself ranks among Toledo's best. We'll be back... just not when the venue is hosting another festival disguised as an ambush.

First off I did not want to like this place, great another BBQ place just what we all need. Took me awhile to try it and bummed I waited so long. this is the ultimate, BEST, most mouth watering, incredible, satisfying food, I could only imagine eating. That should explain how awesome this BBQ is. Everyone, try this I swear on my wife's kitten you'll love it. The Cole slaw so creamy, best smash burger I've ever tried, smoked bologna can't believe you can make something so good, the banana pudding we fought over walked all the back to get another, and I didn't know I liked banana pudding.

I tried the pulled pork sandwich with a side of greens and baked beans. This was my first time in and I enjoyed all of it. Chef Paul came out and met us. The food came out very nice. I sat at the bar and had a blast. I will be back

Food was great and must admit comparable to Bbq at Memphis. Great space but as we are "boomers" very odd not to have a server but rather order all per the QR code. Again, food great and will be more comfortable at next visit. Go Toledo for growing Ostrich Town.

Love the brisket and the banana pudding, but everything else was mid at best. It's all "self serve" using QR menus with food delivered to the table by the kitchen staff, zero servers. Mehhhh. If i drop 40 bucks on my lunch I want to be served. The place has a very cool vibe- but they really need to have some BBQ platters instead of the all a la carte menu. The cowboy beans were legit disgusting. They did take them off my bill. Completely hard and undercooked and they tasted like they used taco seasoning from a packet to make them. I did like their BBQ sauce and signature drinks. I'm hoping they work on the menu a bit to make it a little easier to mix match and try new things. And those beans have GOT to go! The bartender was great. She was helpful in figuring out the menu and ordering system. It was a sunday and there were some older church crowd in there looking super confused and equally underwhelmed. I really want this new riverfront area to work. In order for it to take off they will need some food worth driving for.

He sparked up some casual conversation with us, answered some questions we had, and made some great recommendations on drinks! He mentioned their two most popular brunch drinks were the Espresso Martini & Benton's Old Fashioned. We ordered both and WOW! Such a balanced cocktail, nice presentation, and great flavors. Their dinner menu was currently inspired by well known novels which previewing the menu had me wanting to come back. Such a fun spot with unique offerings you won't find at other spots in Toledo. Now 4 more folks came n sat at the bar. Somehow their food order got taken and before ours. My man is ticked and about to leave. Ordered a pearmosa which is a woodchuck cider not a mimosa to me. We got a waffle (cold), bacon, grits and the seafood grits. Most were cold. Butter just melted and that's after I heated it up next day. The flavor of the food was good. Just not proper temp, service sucked and the parking sucks. Limited street parking or pay to park lots. Im going to give them some time to grow before trying again. This bar has been here probably as long as I've been in Toledo and that's over 15 years. When you walk in you see this beautiful bar made out of wood. I don't know who made it but it is gorgeous. They have a nice selection of alcohol for cocktails and Sutter Home type wine. Even a few craft beers for me. They have special events like jazz on Thursday for free with free appetizers and host comedy events on occasion. Only problem is you have to search it out. They don't do a great job of advertising. Now this place has a reputation of being a primarily black bar but I have seen folks of all ethnicities here and they are welcome. The bartenders are semi-friendly depending who you get.
