Came in around 4:15 pm and was greeted right away by Alexis. She aloud us to pick our table based on my elderly mothers preference. As we were seating ourselves she was already for our drink order and brought is right away. My mother was craving "French Onion soup" and she was very pleased and she also got a Rubin and fries. Also to her liking. I order a twist in a burger order. I asked for a grilled cheese with a burger patty in it and they were more then happy to make it. We enjoyed our meal and the service on our cross country trip. The servings were generous, especially the chili. But, be prepared for lots of jalapenos in the chili, but it was delicious. Hungry and in an unfamiliar town at lunchtime, I put my faith in fellow Yelpers, and they did not disappoint with the Crazy Lady Saloon! Aside from a few locals seated at the bar, the dining room was otherwise empty when I arrived a few minutes past 11am. The bartender / server gave me a friendly greeting, and invited me to take my choice of tables. My appetite piqued by her description of one of the specials, I went with the Philly cheesesteak with fries, plus a Coke. Before tax and tip, my bill came to $9.95, which felt pretty reasonable. The establishment was decorated in a pleasant fusion of small-town-bar meets gastropub, with stock bar elements like a jukebox and wobbly tables interspersed with wrought iron wall hangings and fanciful mardi gras dolls. This eclectic combination of styles would not work at a lot of locations, but it worked very well at the Crazy Lady. My meal was served as quickly as you would hope when you are the first lunch patron, and right away I was impressed by the portion sizes. Some restaurants will cut down on the size of the lunch specials in order to get them into a certain price point, but this Philly cheesesteak was the real deal, and it was accompanied with a generous helping of French fries. As you can see from the attached photo, the sandwich looked great, but it tasted even better, with the perfectly sautéed onions and peppers practically melting in my mouth! The steak in the sandwich was very tasty, and the cheese brought it all together. I also appreciated how the waitress did a nice job of keeping my soda glass filled. PROS: good food, reasonable prices, and attentive staff CONS: none, other than the fact that Curtice is too far out of the way for me to easily bring my wife here sometime Overall I rate the Crazy Lady Saloon as being Very Good, and would definitely return the next time I am in the area! read more

We ended up stopping by when we were rained out at Maumee Bay campground. I'm glad we found this place! The staff was very friendly and promptly helped us. There was a large variety of menu items and specials for the day. We ordered two 12 inch pizzas. They were thin crust and very good! The dining room was very comfortable and clean. The "saloon" was full of locals who were having a good time chatting with each other. We'd definitely recommend this place and would return if we were in the area. read more

The pizza is fantastic! Being from Columbus, OH and having access to so many pizza shops raises the bar so high that it's difficult to find good pizza in small towns. I am cautious of high star ratings as we have been burned before by the locals. There are several pizza joints in this area and none of the reviews or pictures looked any good. I stumbled on this place when looking at the menu and saw that they had pizza. Carry out Order: 12" thin crust 2 topping pizza $9.99 The website says $9.49, they need to update that. We choose pepperoni & bacon. The sauce was delicious, there was lots and lots of delicious cheese, the bacon was crispy, and the pepperoni was cooked perfectly. The crust was crispy and cooked just right. This pizza was really good! I highly recommend getting a pizza here. read more

Really good pizza! We were looking for some place to get pizza close by and there weren't many options. Glad we went with Crazy Lady! The sause was a little sweet, the cheese a little salty, and the crust a little crispy. there was a very good amount of cheese and we got two toppings for $10. Really the only improvement I could make is to have more than just thin crust. Two of us put away the 12 inch pizza without any trouble. Would definitely order again! read more

Great for the first visit we had! Service was prompt. Drinks priced great along with solid wine pours!! Chicken wrap was delicious and they customized it by adding Buffalo and such. Staff was extremely nice and tolerated my children being a mess. I began cleaning under the table as I usually do when my toddler makes a mess... the waitress noticed and said she appreciated it but I did not need to do that. Amazing place! The food is fantastic and the place was nearly filled....we are from Missouri and stopped in here for lunch on the way to Port Clinton. She had crab cake stuffed mushrooms as an appetizer and whoa! They were delicious! I had the perch sandwich on rye - mouthwatering! First time at the Crazy Lady. We had a party of 10 on a Saturday night with range of ages from 7-70. I had the onion rings, French onion soup and baked chicken spaghetti special. Onion Rings were AMAZING, homemade from sure. Soup was good but not outstanding. The special was absolutely the BEST. The kids loved the pizza and chicken chunks. And the server did great with our large group. The later it got the rowdier it became, so if you have kids come early in the evening. We will definitely come back. Great little find. read more

Stopped in for a late lunch on a Saturday afternoon. Place was about half full with patrons- other half was dirty dishes. Woefully understaffed with one waitress who had to serve tables and bar, the cleanup guy, and a cook. Apparently this is the Saturday crew. Chili was good accodrding to my bf. They were accomodating for my gf and I to substitute perch for chicken on the salad. Salads were meh and had a few token carrot scrapings- mostly sliced iceburg lettuce drowned in cheddar 'cheez' Bluecheese dressing was not bad and thank goodness it was on the side due to volume served. I was born & raised in Curtice and go back often to visit family. I can't even explain how nice & convenient it is to have a little joint down the street to get food from that isn't Subway. I have seen several places come and go from this spot ( Grapevine?) Honestly, I couldn't even tell you because I NEVER went there to get food in all my 18 years of living there. I started hearing great things about Crazy Lady and their wings, perch, etc. I have only ever had the wings but they are great! We got unbreaded buffalo and breaded garlic and every one agreed that unbreaded was the way to go. My mom loves the perch. Very cool there is finally an establishment in good old Curtice that will hopefully be there to stay :) read more

I was eating lunch with my mom who works outside of Curtice so upon looking for something close by, I landed on this place. I never would have thought such a place existed. It as pretty much the only thing in this town. Town being, 1 intersection. I had a Reuben and got a chicken sandwich for my mom. My Reuben was phenomenal and I would definitely go back if I am out that way. It's not too far from Navarre so I would suggest it to someone passing through that area. read more
