All it takes is one pirate sailing a trolley, with frigate-sinking quantites of rum, down an aisle to ruin it for everyone. C'mon now! The Dan's is in a great location, it's ground floor right next to the car park, and two doors down from Woolies, so you can do all your shopping without having to worry about the rest of the shops. What also helps is it is well staffed. Despite being super biz, the lines move quick. There might be 4 or 5 checkout staff zipping peeps through which is the big plus here.

A portion of sales from the lager goes to helping Seabin which is an organization that focuses on removing plastic from the Harbour. We didn't order any food, but the menu has all sorts of items like burgers, salads, steak, oysters, pasta, and seafood. If you're not a beer drinker, they do offer wine and cocktails. The brewery has a full menu with items like burgers, sandwiches, salads, and chicken bites. We shared an order of fries and they were really good. I loved that it came with mayo. We managed to find some seats upstairs. They have large tables which is great for groups. Everyone was friendly and made space for us to sit. They have weekly events like half priced burgers on Tuesdays, trivia on Wednesdays, and tours on Saturdays. Still, as a brewery, it wasn't bad, and it is signed pretty well, so it can be easily spotted as well (namely because it happens to be next to a pub).
