Designer Jessica Bostic showed us that, despite the constraints of multiple doors and a c. 1911 wall-sized built-in, we could have a much bigger island than we ever thought possible. This means that I can prepare meals while my 8 year-old plays toy soldiers at the end of the island, making it all much more pleasant. We also appreciated the cabinet layout which took into account a bulkhead we couldn't remove and other interesting challenges old houses sometimes offer. They also suggested places to find countertops (we unexpectedly chose Fantasy Brown marble, which was much more affordable than we thought.) Jessica also met me at a tile showroom in the Indianapolis area where I found the marble tile for the backsplash; my husband and I love the way it flows with the countertop. In an area where finding reliable construction crews can be tough, the construction crews overseen by Phil and affiliated with In Style were thorough, professional, prompt and very responsive whenever we had questions. This was a very positive construction experience and we really appreciate all the time that they spent on the project. We love our kitchen and are so grateful to In Style for helping us achieve the kitchen of our dreams.

When they came to install, he called first and showed up on time. They took their time and did it professionally and safely. Jose took his time to make sure everything was shimmed, glued and caulked properly. You can't go wrong with these guys! I have rarely used it so I dont know when the crack happened but there is a massive crack through the entire slab of granite in the back of the counter top. Nothing has ever been put on it. Where the crack is all the way through isn't functional but absolutely stands out like a sore thumb. After trying to get Indy Grills to ask them about the warranty and fix it they passed the buck to this company where they bought the granite. I have had ZERO response with Indy grills on the email thread. Christopher Wentzel is the person on the email who has said absolutely nothing who does sales. Big surprise. Get the sale and dont help your customers. Being used mayb 10 times in two years. Its been sealed when it was supposed to and to have granite literally crack ALL the way through the stone to me is a problem they should help fix. They wont even respond. Indy Grills and this company will not be doing anything on the new house I'm building that will be an even larger project. If you are working with Chris I wuld ask for someone else. With multiple quotes from different businesses, Buffington was cheaper even WITH some custom cabinet dimensions and specialty inserts that other business quotes did not include. He was also quicker than other businesses' turnaround time estimates. We would recommend him to anyone!

I took an older kitchen cabinet door in to be replaced. The owner said it would be 1-2 weeks. 2…read moreweeks after dropping off the door my wife called and he said that it would be another week. A week later my wife calls to see if it is done and she is told that it would be done in another week. Fast forward 11 days and I go to check on it and am told that it still isn't done. The owner explained, very rudely, that he overbooked himself and had gotten behind. He never said anything to that effect on the phone. He only stated that it would be another week each time we called. He could have told me or my wife that he overbooked himself 2-3 weeks before he did so I could have found someone else to build this door. Horrible custom service.
