To try to make nice she came to my room to sit and chat when all I wanted to do was sleep and rest. When I wasn't latching my baby right she didn't even know techniques to help me, she offered a nipple guard. They left me an incomplete breast pumping machine and no one helped me use it. Supervisor Gaetana Venezia repeats "there is nothing we can do" to respect my appointment times, which they assign themselves to my visits. However, she's put a portrait of herself up above the security guard in the lobby. They don't warn about delays or backups. They make you fill out some internal made-up forms instead and list your own name by hand 10 times over - appears to be a norm for them. A big scope of nonsense artificial work they create for themselves is being passed onto their patients.

Then I switched doctors and had this other Dr. And when I asked him about why my feet are beyond swollen to the point I can't walk and had white spots on my legs he sarcastically answered "idk I'm not a skin Dr." ... left me feeling worried and scared about my symptoms didn't give me any advice any reassurance nothing he just sent me away. At 34/35 weeks pregnant they cancelled my appointment said the dr won't be in and then supposedly scheduled me for june2. 2 days before June 2 I get a call asking why I didn't come to my appointment and I said what do you mean? You guys cancelled and rescheduled for June 2nd and they said no I don't have appointments scheduled here for you and they were confused on who cancelled my appointment bc the doctor was in the office that day. Then they asked if I had the baby already lol? On top of that they forgot to schedule my last ultrasound. The day the doctor sent me away and gave the sarcastic "idk I'm not a skin doctor" answer was the day he was supposed to schedule my last ultrasound but he didn't seem to be interested in his job or my health or pregnancy. I called the supervisor his name is Cesar he apologized he said he was going to speak to them.. I asked can I switch to their wny location he said no it's not possible I said ok I'm done w u guys I'll try to find another clinic he said no where will take me that he doesn't recommend it, I said idc I'm done w you guys if u guys just asked me if I had the baby already and didn't see me for over a month in my last trimester why should I go see u guys now just to be treated wrong. The supervisor said I'm sorry let me at least schedule your last ultrasound and that was going to call me later in the day to let me know about the ultrasound.. he never did I gave him 3 days to call me and they never called back which I wasn't surprised. So I called his boss .. I called the head supervisor on north Hudson clinic and told them everything. Finally a WOMAN answered my call listened to me and told me "I don't know who told you that you couldn't switch to the wny location because you absolutely can" she switched me over to the wny location and now I have the best Dr. Ever. The union city clinic has made my entire pregnancy scary and horrible and stressful. I was even called social services on me by the Dr.marina and thank god the social worker was very kind and dismissed the case never had to to go in and see him. This is my first pregnancy and it was ruined by union city free clinic, made me cry so many times. I am due tomorrow June 20th I've spent my last 2 weeks at wny location with the most helpful amazing doctor.. doctor.Bennet. He is beyond kind and thoughtful and informative. Every test the other clinic failed to do he did it and explained what each test is instead of having me just do it, he asked me if I have any questions what I'm comfortable with what I'm not comfortable with, he answered my question about my swollen feet and did extra tests just to make sure it's not signs of preeclampsia. He made time for me on his busy schedule and he just makes me feel very safe. He is the only doctor from this entire pregnancy that has shown he is a doctor because he cares not just for the money. I am grateful god blessed me with this doctor at the end because I was so depressed and scared, and now I'm about to give birth with confidence and happiness due to this amazing Doctor. Men will never understand a woman's body, imagine a man entering this field that's very sacred for women without caring for their healthy and pregnancy only in it for the money???? Union city location should just close or fire those 2 doctors (the only doctors that work for that location) they clearly don't care about the women only the money. The appointment itself was poorly coordinated, and there was very little communication about the status of my medical paperwork and results. The most concerning part was what happened afterward. My employer requires the medical documentation to be properly submitted and received before I am cleared to begin work. Concentra failed to properly communicate with my employer and did not ensure that my required medical documentation was received. As a result, I was put in a position where I was almost unable to start my job because of Concentra's failure to complete and communicate the required paperwork. I have had to repeatedly call and try to track down my own medical records simply to make sure the documents were sent where they were supposed to go. For a medical facility handling employment-required examinations, this level of disorganization and lack of follow-through is unacceptable. When someone's ability to start their job depends on your office submitting time-sensitive medical documentation, that responsibility should be taken seriously. I would strongly recommend confirming exactly where your records are being sent and following up yourself rather than assuming Concentra will communicate with your employer as required.

The healthcare provider's staff were unprofessional and ignorant when it came to implementing strategy or taking the appropriate steps in checking me in as a new patient. For instance, when complying with the guidelines provided by the healthcare provider personnel the staff member refused to respect my choice for reading my temperature with the infrared thermometer on my wrist. They refused and told me if I wanted to have my temperature read on that body part I had to show proof of my COVID vaccination card, which I found to be ridiculous, especially when I walked in taking the appropriate precautions wearing my mask, not denying for my temperature to be read. I believe, in order for the healthcare provider's staff members to improve their patient experience, they need to improve their communication skills and limit adverse events where patients as myself are asked to leave the office when nothing wrong was done on my behalf, all because the staff is not educated on taking the proper steps when checking in patients. if the staff were educated they would know that when reading with an infrared thermometer, the temperature can be taken on either the forehead and wrist as long as that body part of the surface is clean and dry as well as making sure that the thermometer is used from the ideal distance, and not directly on the skin surface in order for the temperature to correctly be read. In addition, from observation no where in the office did a notice read that the patient needs to provide proof of a vaccine card, or that is mandated to read your temperature on the forehead area of the body.
