She sees 2 of my children and I feel so blessed to have her helping my family. She goes above and beyond!!! Dr. Brandon is such an amazing neuropsychologists he helped to give us the diagnoses we have searched for, for years with countless other doctors! He is kind, compassionate, brilliant, and funny! As a women of color, I was hoping for treatment, not the most discriminatory and creepiest experience I've ever had. The guy (couldn't find his name..?) at the receptionist counter had a racist white-supremacist symbol as his lock screen I got a glimpse of it (idk if he changed it.) Had a private session with Ariel Gonzalez who would avoid eye contact just to look at my breasts constantly listing off things "wrong" with me. ‍ SA and being a victim is one of the primary reasons I am seeking care in the first place to overcome that trauma. The fact I was recommended this place by my friend who is a mother of three and takes one of her teens here makes it all the worse. I do NOT advise ANY one to go to this location. read more

We were referred to RPMG for a relative that was experiencing aggressive behavior at assisted living facility. They required a review of current meds and an urgent adjustment that could help with a possible escalation that would have them removed from the facility. We asked for an experienced Dr but were given a NURSE PRACTITIONER. As this was an immediate need, we were flippantly told and prescribed Rexulti which is ove $600 HUNDRED dollars a month, and when we had an issue with this, we called SEVERAL TIMES and sent voice messages and messages through their chart to ask to SPEAK to the NP! We NEVER received a response! Years ago, we dealt with the director who was no help and mis-diagnosed our family member. We were reluctant on this referral almost a decade later and it appears NOTHING has changed! Don't bother with this place! read more

For an office that deals with mental health the office staff is terrible. Called for an appointment, kept getting put off. finally after 3 weeks we were told the psychiatrist we had wanted didn't take Medicare, and it would cost us 200 out of pocket to see someone that did accept Medicare. We have a secondary which shows this group and the specific psychologist as in our network. I called back to see if they would bill our secondary instead of Medicare, I was met with a rude response and offered no help in verifying what my secondary had confirmed. Our secondary confirmed they would let them bill directly and that there is question on the actual claim when first submitted by the provider which asks if they accept Medicare, once they check that they don't accept Medicare it would get processed without delay. I was directed to the billing supervisor who I believe doesn't know her job either despite making sure I knew she did her job for 20 some years. The billing supervisor was rude and said they would not bill the secondary only to have to wait for the denial from Medicare. My insurance said and i quote "if they do billing they should know about checking the box stating they don't accept Medicare therefore no delay in payment." Its sad to be dealing with such dismissive staff. Over the last 30 years of handling appointments and our insurance for our family, I have never encountered a more rude, lazy, dismissive attitude especially for a mental health facility. I also worked for 25 years in a customer service environment and loved helping customers going above and beyond at times. This place is going to charge me a cancelation fee between $50 to $75!!??? they said for cancelling my appointment due to a family emergency for cancelling less then 24 hrs. First of all we have never cancel appointments before, I know ppl time is of importance, but this person who answer the phone he was very rude not wanting to understand situations that emergency happen and sometimes is out of your hands to keep an appointment that by the way I got send a reminder via text Sunday my appointment was Monday there was not enough time for me to call before 24 hours. dont ever take a troubled person there! jail is better. unfortunately had to spend 4 days there and it was more traumatic then pretty much anything I've ever gone though. there's no windows so you can't see outside...4 days I didn't see outside. they lock you in a room for 7 hours and force groups on you. the walls are white no pictures or anything on the walls, food is worse than honest kitchen dog food. the way some of the nurses treated some of the severely troubled people shoulda put them in a psych ward themselves. I personally wasn't on any medication before or after but THEY TRY SO HARD to get you on something. They purposely keep it cold in the community room to "keep people awake" yet lock us out our room the full day we up 8-10 no choice. yall people in jail have more freedom. it was...awful. I have nightmares of waking back up in this place. the staff doesn't care. they don't. cause they're underpaid and understaffed. I'll never go to any psych ward again because of Riverside Id sooner commit a crime and go to jail before ever stepping foot in there again. Hell on earth. I have major PTSD over this place, showering is super hard for me now and going into hospitals just for a basic checkup, i panick. please I'm begging you DO NOT EVER SEND ANYONE HERE EVER I LEFT WORSE THEN I ENTERED AND NOW MAY NEED TO GO TO THERAPY FOR PTSD oh not only that. I've watched provider Rodello over the years treat my daughter by pushing pills at her with no good results. I've sat in on appointments in telehealth in the background where she literally has no guidance - just a check in in order to prescribe meds. The system is broken and it is providers like these who keep patients unwell mentally and physically. The last straw was when my daughter missed an appointment by calling in ten minutes late and was marked a no show and we were charged a fee, rightfully so I guess, but then for the next appointment the provider herself was late and didn't say sorry and didn't even acknowledge being late. So why were we charged, to teach my daughter a lesson? You definitely taught her the ugly side of psychiatry by pushing pills at her with no end in sight of getting well. We have now switched to a different provider and within one visit with the new psychiatrist there is a noticeable difference in my daughter. Please anyone who is reading this - use your best discernment when choosing someone to treat your child, yes meds might be the only option and that is ok, but it's when they stack med after med with no change in their mental state, couple in the side effects and it is a recipe for disaster - trust me, I watched it happen and if it were strictly up to me I would've changed my daughter's from Rodello along time ago. I had to wait for my daughter to see the issues herself in order to make the change, and god willing she finally did!! I guess if you're wanting any med at your finger tips this is the place to go, but if you honest and truly want to get better please look elsewhere. read more

Riverside psychiatric has been one of the worst healthcare providers I've ever gone to. After getting a referral to get a psychiatric evaluation from them I have not heard back from them for three months as of writing this review. Clinicians are shocked when I tell them I have not received my report after so long. I've done everything they've asked of me and paid my bill, yet every time I call to ask where my report is staff say they will contact me when it's ready but they never do. I am beyond frustrated with them and implore others seeking care to go elsewhere. Even when I went to get my evaluation the psychologist, Dr. Brandon, was quite dismissive of my concerns. I truly regret wasting my time here as now I cannot move forward with my medical treatment thanks to their unacceptable care. read more

If I could leave a 0 star review I would. I urge anyone reading this to try to find a different location for mental health assistance. The Nurse Practitioner Jessica Rodello did not listen to any of my partner's concerns nor did she provide her any resources to assist what she was going through. She told her to "ask other people because they probably have it harder than you" my partner also asked for a ADHD and Autism testing and was told "she didn't look like she had that" after 20 minutes of their first meeting. What kind of responses are these as a mental health provider? She also asked if NP Rodello could prescribe her a different medication as the side effects caused by the medication she is currently on is negatively impacting her personal life and the response was "no they're working, we'll just lower the dose" she tried the new dose and advised the provider that the side effects negatively impacted her but got no changes to prescribed medication. Not to mention scheduling is absolutely terrible at this place, my partner asked to schedule an appointment because she was running out of her meds that can't be abruptly stopped due to severe side effects and was told "they can't schedule appointments right now" she then asked for a telehealth appointment and they said they couldn't. She asked if they could do an emergency refill for until the appointment they eventually scheduled further down the line and they said "no, if you need a refill go to the ER" but the ER won't fill psychiatric meds. Please don't waste your time with this group and its providers. read more

Doctors and therapists are great, but appointment scheduling is a NIGHTMARE. I've repeatedly scheduled appointments, taken time off work to go, and had them say that my appointment was actually a different day, time, or online instead of office or vice versa. And I've waited months for these appointments. They also do not text appointment confirmations or reminders, so you have no proof of when the appointment was actually scheduled for. Even though the providers end up being great, the frustration of going to this office is not worth it, unfortunately. read more

I'll start off with, all of the psychiatrist's I've had here have been great. That's not the issue. The issue is the office staff. Billing, scheduling, front desk...you name it, they're terrible. Disorganized, short when speaking to you, rarely return phone calls if ever...but by far the biggest issue they've cause me though is several times I've missed medications for days at a time because they've failed to send refills on prescriptions when requested. I'm really surprised at some of the ratings that I am reading. A lot of complaints. When I called I was a mess, rough day, I went to the wrong address, called the office where I was suppose to be explained what happened I was already turning around to go back home when the kind lady on the phone was so kind and she walked me through what I needed to do to get going in the right direction. I Calm down set my GPS I got to my appointment 10 minutes late I only waited about 10 minutes and I seen Dr. Karen Meske, first time, switched from Kaiser last month. She was completely amazing and everything I have looked for in past providers. No games, real life and I felt a lot better when I left there. This was my appointment for my meds but it felt like I also seen a therapist. Extremely educated wonderful wonderful person thank you very much I look forward to our next appointment. PS: doesn't bother me if any office personnel are not friendly I look past that stuff because I appreciate it when people look past it on my bad days. I would rather have efficient any day. I truly debated on whether or not to post this review, but for the sake of others who are in my position (or are worse off), I thought it would be best. Over a decade, I have come and gone several times from this establishment and the only word that can describe them is "trying". While they have become better at scheduling and have an online portal so you can access your "chart" not much has been done elsewhere. There are many parking spaces, only three disabled spaces, but there isn't much room for error because it is tight fit. While the grounds are maintained, the establishment itself is an odd mixture of cold, dark, and sterile. It was as if an attempt was made to make it feel warm but clearly, that person did not get very far. The furniture bears the sign of use and not in a good way. The front desk staff while nice at times, does not make a difference when they are speaking to you as if you were stupid for asking a question. The first time I left their establishment, I was hounded for several months by their staff who left voicemails insisting that I owed a balance and threatened to send it to collections. Suddenly their calls stopped and nothing became of their threats, even six months later when I called to inquire, I was told that I owed nothing. In another instance, paperwork was sent to them by another agency and it took the better part of two months for the office staff to even present the paperwork to my treatment team, despite several inquires from myself and said agency. Recently, I contacted them to setup another appointment with another psychiatrist only to be told that I must see this specific psychiatrist because he treated me before, despite my insurance authorization allowing me to see who I wanted within their facility. I did not feel comfortable seeing this same psychiatrist seeing as he as odd scheduling hours and became frustrated with my case. Even their therapists I were not particularly fond of, seeming just to go in circles and truly not provide help in the form of a therapeutic relationship. If it were one or two things, I could give this place a higher rating but ultimately, when you are suffering from a mental illness the last thing you need to deal with is an establishment like this that sits at the bottom of the barrel. read more

Totally ignored my issues and wanted to know about my entire life. If your looking for someone to help you find new coping skills etc, don't waste your time here. Ok where to start!? I have been coming here for about a year now i this is my last time I'll be visiting them. I tried really hard to give them a benefit of the doubt but every single time is something new. I stayed simply because I didn't want to start over with a new therapist and start from 0. After seeing her for a few months she recommended I see the psychiatrist for medication. I started seeing Jessica Rodelo which I loved because she was very nurturing and she made me feel at a safe place. She made me feel like everything that I was going through was okay and not to worry because she would be there to help. I then got prescribed with antidepressants to help with depression and anxiety. Everything was fine I was on meds and I have to say I feel much better. MY PROBLEM with this medical center is that front desk is rude! The guy in the front sound like he hates his job! He doesn't let you finish your sentence and he interrupts 90% of the time. Its like he wants to get to the point and doesn't care about what you have to say. I have been on medication and the way to refill my prescription is by having a follow up appointment with the psychiatrist (jessica) so that she can submit a refill order. every single time I need to refill the pharmacy is blowing up my phone that they have no response from the doctor so they can't refill my prescription. I have to then follow up with the medical center and ask to talk to jessica or make an appointment. I have also emailed jessica letting her know that pharmacy needs her attention and yet I have no response. I then call the office and tell them about the issue and the guy who answers the phone tells me it's my responsibility to call and make an appointment with jessica ahead of time to refill my prescription! This happens every single time I need a refill. Okay that's fine I need to call and follow up so I started doing every month. We then switched meds to every 3 months but these people have no process as far as contacting their patients to remind them for their follow up appointment. At what point does the psychiatrist puts a note in everyone's file that there needs to be a follow up appointment BECAUSE THIS PATIENT IS ON MEDS!! This is not just therapy this is medication!!!. Let me tell you what happens when you don't take your meds..... you get a whole bunch of side effects and me In particular I get headaches, I get nauseous and sweaty! Great addition to my anxiety huh? So I'm freaking out because I thought I had another month refill of meds and I dont because this was month 3 and I haven't taken my meds for 5 days now. Pharmacy has been contacting Jessica and no answer. You would think jessica would get those notifications and then reach out to the patient to follow up and make sure patient is up to date. Here is the best part! In talking to the idiot in the front desk he says it's my responsibility to follow up not theirs! I asked if they have a system where they can follow up with patients and remind us considering that it's been 3 MONTHS! he's said that is not their responsibility...... I then asked how are they retaining their patients with this kind of service and he tells me that I currently don't have to pay a co-pay because of covid so they are not really focusing on retaining patients. Then I was really upset because he is telling me that because I'm a "free patient" and they are not making money out of me they don't care if I come back or not! As far as I know my insurance is still getting charged and I'm paying in every paycheck for every visit even though I don't have a co-pay! So it's really upsetting to have this service. They have shown zero interest in me as a patient and in any other medical place I've been to they are really good at contacting you and making sure you are set up with an appointment! You can even get text updates!!! so I won't be coming here anymore I feel like I'm more stressed and anxious with this place than with my mental health! read more

Terrible unprofessional treatment towards former patients. I used to go here back in 2016 - 2017 when I was going through a long mental health crisis. While the medication and the NP were nice the therapy was awkward so I ended up stopping treatment. I was also young around 21 at the time and I had a difficult time accepting that I had issues. Now am 24 matured but I finally accepted I needed help so I decided to pursue going back since they have my medical record already and the receptionist flat out states "You can't come back. You've been discharged." As if I did something wrong. What a total set back they obviously give a shit about their former patients trying to seek help. read more

If I could leave zero stars I would!!! I am so disappointed in this Dr! I will never allow my son or any other family to ever go to this Dr! Long story short, Dr Offenstein saw my son once this January. During the session the Dr said something that triggered or brought up past feelings in my son. When my son shared his past emotions, the Dr took it as a current emotion. Instead of asking my son if he was currently feeling this way or if this was from previous feelings, Dr Offenstein assumed this was current. Instead of taking the logical steps to figure out if there was a current issue or not. He took inappropriate measures and signed my son into a mental hospital! My son is autistic and doesn't always understand what is happening so when the dr said he had to go to a hospital or he was going to call the police to admit my son, my son freaked out! My son sees another Dr in the same office building,(she is wonderful) but instead of touching base with his reg dr, Dr O mishandled the situation! Now I am faced with $1,500 bill. Even the social worker in the hospital said he shouldn't have been admitted! This Dr should not be allowed to practice if he can not take the appropriate step to ensure the best for his patient. He should not be allowed to play God. Just wanted to share so this never happens to another kid or family. This has been a very emotional distressing situation. read more

I've had a great experience with this office. Very caring and competent counselors. You can get an appt, which isn't always true these days. They have staff and someone calls you back if you leave a message. Responsiveness has been good. A medical group has many advantages over a sole practitioner. I see others mentioned problems with the staff but I think the office must have addressed this issue. Also, I get my anti anxiety meds through my primary care, so the disconnect with refills is not an issue for me. But I can see how it would be for anyone trying to get medication through the office. read more

Moved here from out of state a year of so ago and was recommended to come here for my son. I've been trying to get my child evaluated since August of last year. My son already has a diagnosis but they wanted to re-evaluate him. Started testing around October with Dr.Brandon. It's now January and testing still isn't complete. I've called many times to ask what's next or is anything needed from me. they always take a message and tell me my call will be returned soon. My calls have never been returned. Dr Zah-Webber sees my 9 year old son. I couldn't ask for a better psychiatrist to see him. My son was nervous and very self critical when we first met her, however she quickly gained his trust and mine as well!! She was extremely kind, patient and thorough in getting to know him and his individual needs. With each session he had with her it became more apparent to me that she was not only completely competent and great at what she does, but very gentle and engaging in a way that my son needed to feel comfortable telling her his thoughts and feelings. Now out of the blue he will comment on how much he likes her! As a mother I feel sooo fortunate that Dr. Zah-Webber was assigned to us! 5 stars isn't enough. read more

My wife had a appointment scheduled which no one from his office called to remind or verify the appointment with her. So the office sent us a letter in mail stating we missed our appointment and that she was being dropped from his office due to missing 1 appointment. As other reviewers have stated the office staff is rude. On top of all that my wife was sick on the day she had a appointment. So don't expect much from this place. I read several negative reviews and am very confused because I've been coming here for over 10 years and, aside from the nurse practitioner, Kathleen Comer, I would highly recommend this facility to anyone who asked. From the moment I check in with Lisa or Gary, I feel welcomed. Lida and Gary always greet me by my name, and I know that they genuinely care how I'm doing. A few months ago I called and spoke to Gary about moving my appointment date up because I was really struggling with my depression and he sounded truly sorry that there wasn't a sooner appointment. When I came for that appointment he asked how I was holding up. He had, probably, seen 75-100 patients and handled 1000s of phone calls in the 3 weeks since I had called but he remembered our phone conversation. At that appointment my doctor added something new to my meds and wanted to see me again in 3 weeks, which was yesterday. Lisa and Gary both commented yesterday that I looked and sounded much better and more like my old self. As I said, I wouldn't recommend Kathy Comer but every other doctor and nurse practitioner I've seen since her has been fabulous. Thanks to everyone at this facility and my amazing therapist, I have made huge steps in recovery from years of emotional, verbal, physical and sexual abuse that almost pushed me to my breaking point. I still have a long way to go but, with the help of the good people in this facility, I feel confident that I will one day reach all my goals. read more

Dr offenstein and dr comer are very good. Nothing but but good things to say about them, however, office is an issue. I received a notice of a missed appt, so i called since i never received my reminder call. I spoke with a lady in billing who was not a help. I am not rude on a professional call, but she informed me that its a signed policy that the call is merely a courtesy. I informed her that i understand that, but i rely on that call since i have memory issues due to my depression and sever anxiety AND it has worsened since my mom just died a few months ago while i was pregnant. She then told me that if i have memory issues i should switch to a new psychiatrists office that doesn't implement the fee. So she is basically telling these drs patients to go to a new office. Based on experience, be prepared and don't be surprised if they ask for payment before even saying hello. This literally has to be the worst service I have ever witness. This is a facility where people are suppose to go for help. You are suppose to show empathy , be patience, and communicate clearly with you patients. Dr.Summerour has been a huge help with my mom, and we thank him for his services. However the front desk is nothing I would imagine. LISA in particular. We walked in for my mothers appointment 40 minutes early, not knowing because when we called in advance to confirm her appointment we were told 11:00am. My mom went to the window and provided her name, LISA kept asking my mother for her last name like mocking her (she is a spanish speaker) but the last name Vargas is the same in english and spanish (in case Lisa was not aware.) People came and went, including people that came in after us. We sat there quietly, after an hour and being the only people sitting in the lounge, I asked how much longer, she asks for her name again, and actually apears that she never signed my mother in. Around 12:15 another patient came in and of course she was called in right away (for the same dr). LISA's demeanor was extremely rude, and unprofessional, not once apologizing, or giving us any information. And of course she did not say a word to the Dr. of her mistake and skipping my mother. I for one found it appalling that a place like this would have a person like LISA at the front desk. Whoever does their highring should have higher standards for their patients. This was not the first time my mother has had an issue here with the front staff. we love Dr.Summerour just wish he didn't have such dreadful receptionist... If you have elderly family or non English speaking love ones be careful sending them here alone. Some of these staff members will try to be little them, or just give them the run around...
