The communication was great throughout. Our guide was awesome. He was very knowledgeable and on top of the responsibilities of the tour. This is a great activity to push yourself, but not in a way that you will regret it the next day. A great time had by all! I would highly recommend this company or use them again if I was to book a trip like this.

The river is generally calm. Some bumps but no big waves. Lunch was smoked ham and turkey wrap. A cookie and an apple. He inserted himself coaching my family who was doing well in unfamiliar surroundings and caused divisions by insinuating my husband was doing all the work and we weren't helping him. This Team doesn't appear to have it together. We listened to Johnnys long story about nothing on the busride to the river only to find out we had to still stand in the hot sun while he gave another 45 minutes of instructions (which could have been given on the bus instead of the joke attempts). the lunch spot has tall grass and biting flies. Johnny got mad at another family because they could work the valve on the archaic water jugs and sarcastically stepped in to show everyone how easy it was. We were all super thirsty and under stress mind you. we will never go with this outfitter again.

What could have been better: communication about what to bring or not to bring (yes to a way to secure your glasses, no to water bottles or a dry bag for water /snacks /sunscreen); where to park (across the bridge near the beer store or at the public park); and that the "snack" after the trip is a full meal (pulled pork, hot dogs, sides). The restroom-changing facilities are fairly primitive on site (women's side includes a single curtained toilet, single shower stall, a chair behind a screen, and an open area with a bench, a chair, and an uncovered window that overlooks the take-out site). What was great: the emphasis on safety, quality materials, communication between the team members, THE RAPIDS. My favorite one was whatever one we had just finished. I never buy the ride photos, but I did this time because we wanted to commemorate a great afternoon, and to reward the team for good work. Two fit 70-year-olds were able to do this with their 30s to early 50s children. Can recommend!

The staff was welcoming and warm, even on this slightly chilly day. The music brought on the right atmosphere, the vibes were fantastic, and the food came when we needed it the most! We got the camping packet that let's you camp for 2 tonight/3 days, and includes the Tubapalooza, and other tubing options each day. There were a vast selection of campsite options. We were surprised that it wasn't packed (especially the night before Tubapalooza). Our campsite was next to the river, it couldn't have been more ideal. The location was calm and the sounds of the river and nature were soothing, even on the few times when the geese went wild. All in all, if we're still living in Pennsylvania, we plan to return next year!

So I've been watching the site for the water level, and only purchased because I saw the water level was above 2.60, but when I get there I'm told they're only running half the course again, despite that the water level was above 2.60. No announcement on the site or on social media. So I feel like I got a bait and switch. I drove 2 hours to get there and I guess I'll call ahead in the future before paying $80.

Right in the heart is a most worthwhile stop, Ohiopyle Falls, a twenty-foot waterfall that spans the wide Youghiogheny River over a couple of dramatic levels. The parking lot was huge and pretty empty, and it was a quick stroll to the broad observation decks that jut out over the river. There was a group of kayakers huddled together as they were preparing to navigate the whitewater torrents. The hamlet of Ohiopyle provides a welcome coffee break. We did not process what she was telling us which was a very EPIC experience. The staff was nothing less than friendly and amazing. They told us all about Wisp's best kept secret which is their water rafting. We watched them pump water into the course and walked around exploring what we were about to do. Mike was our guide on the raft and made the experience EPIC. He was super friendly and made sure we were having fun the entire time. Seriously Mike and the entire staff make you feel like you are a part of the gang. To not come here and experience rafting at the top of the mountain with Mike and the rest of crew of Adventure Sports are fun memories and experiences missed out on. I cannot praise these guys high enough. 10/10 Will return! We booked our raft with Mike the day before because the spots fill up fast.
