Dr. Brandon changed my life by helping me breathe better through my nose with cranial facial release (CFR). This is a technique where the chiropractor inserts a balloon into the nose and inflates it until things move around - this results in immediately increased airflow. After five sessions over several months, I now breathe better through my nose than I ever have. I had the best night of sleep last night after doing my fifth session. If you suffer from blocked airways in your nose, you need to check this out. I had previously had two minor surgeries in an ENT's office (turbinate coblation) and one surgery under general anesthesia to help me breathe better. I've been to a couple chiropractors off and on for years. This, by far, was the best experience that I've had at any chiropractors or at any medical office for that matter. The receptionist was very professional and polite, and I was able to get into a room within minutes of checking in. I anticipated a wait like most medical offices of course, but also within minutes of sitting down, I had a face-to-face with Dr. Roberts who checked in on me to tell me that he was currently with a patient. A gesture that was greatly appreciated. But that wasn't the end to my pleasant experience. Dr. Roberts then began to evaluate me using technology that wasn't even introduced to me at other offices. I was very impressed as his evaluation confirmed most of my complaints and being able to see visual aids just made me feel more assured as a patient that he knew what to look for and treat. Doctor Roberts and the girls that work at the front desk are awesome. The office manager who I guess is responsible for hounding clients for payment is not. The first time I forgot to bring in the check from the insurance company not even 2 or 3 days later there was a really condescending voicemail left by the office manager about how they were running a business and needed the money immediately. The second time not only did I get some snarky looks in the office but another condescending voicemail. The thing is that the insurance company told me to have the checks come to me, Dr. Roberts office person didn't want me to do this. I wasn't sure so I had the checks come to me per the insurance company's advice, this was not received well. At this point I pretty much decided I wasn't going back. Now I guess, even though there was only one phone call and one letter sent about the final checks I had from State Farm I am being sent to collections. Dr. Roberts did a great job treating me. I was a little disillusioned when I realized that they were charging my insurance company more than double for the same services they provide to cash customers way cheaper. I also realized that State Farm was paying nearly triple for the massages I received. That was a little annoying to realize. read more

Dr. Roberts is a true healer. In regards to the broader field of health care I can sincerely state that I hold Dr. Roberts in a higher regard than any physician I have known. I was already in very good health, but decided to come in when i had a stiff neck from sleeping on it wrong. I didn't realize my previous limitations (other than the stiff neck) until after my 2nd adjustment. Feeling even more energetic and just better overall after the adjustments. I've been seeing chiropractors almost my entire life. I have several old and new sports injuries and like to stay very active. When I found Dr. Brandon I was amazed at his attention to detail! I've been seeing Dr. Brandon Roberts off and on for several years now. I was referred by a friend of his at the gym, whom I know and trust. All I can say is Wow! The best chiropractor I've seen, which has been a few over the span of 25 years. I went in to see Dr. Brandon for a sore shoulder, that had been bothering me for 6 months, to where finally I couldn't sleep more than a few hours at a time. Dr. Brandon pulled and poked around, gave be a series of adjustments over a 2 week period, but I didn't really get much better. Listening to my feedback, he accpeted the fact we hadn't hit on the root problem yet, and dug a little deeper, and adjusted my ribs. What the heck do my left side ribs have to do with my right soulder? Two treatments latter I didn't care, that was DEFINATELY the issue, I'm back into my 6hour sleep pattern and one happy camper! (I remembered cracking two ribs while racing Karts back in the late 1980's, likely some residual from that) About six weeks of bi-weekly rib adjustments and the shoulder is good as new, no more pain, able to hit the weights again pain free. On the business side, I was never pressured to set up some ongoing treatment plan with 19 easy instalments automatically charged against my ATM.... nope... a more relaxed "let's get you back on track, re-evaulate, then have you come in as needed" approach. He examined my hands and feet and adjusts those too if they need it, I didn't even know chiropractors could do that. When I walked out after my first adjustment it felt like I was walking on clouds. If your afraid of chiropractors because you've heard it hurts he's the most gentle chiropractor I've ever been to and now I bring in my little boys and they love to be adjusted by him too. This is really a review for Deer Valley Chiropractic of which Dr. Roberts is a part. There are two excellent chiropractors in one office and you do not need to make a choice. When first came to the United States in 1969 I had never even heard of a chiropractor. However, my new father in law's best friend was one and when he visited everyone got an adjustment whether they needed it or not. At the time I was an athlete in tip top shape and thought it was silly but submitted and, by golly, I did feel better afterwards. In the years since found that when it comes to back problems there is not much a doctor can do for you but a chiropractor can usually fix or at least alleviate them. The surprising thing about this practice is that you can always get an appointment on short notice or just walk in. That is usually not a good sign (if they are so good why are they not busier) but in this case you should not let that daunt you. When we moved Antioch I was very slow about finding a chiropractor. I just find picking a medical provider to be a daunting task. If they were all good, malpractice lawyers would not exist. These days, however, we have Yelp so I opened the list of chiropractors covered by my insurance in one window and Yelp in another and in the end it came down to Dr. Roberts and Dr. Harris. It was only then that I noticed that they had the same address and phone number: Deer Valley Chiropractic. A plus was that they are within walking distance. So, I made an appointment, rode my bike down (oddly, it was painful for me to walk but a bicycle was no problem) and over the next few weeks my back which I had let get out of whack until I could not take it any more was hale. The real test came when my Judit threw her back out. She had never been to a chiropractor and, in spite of what they had done for me, thought of the practice as quackery. She went to her medical doctor but, of course, he could do nothing for her except provide pain killer and prescribe rest. I was reluctant to push her towards chiropractors but when someone you love is in pain it is painful to you and push her I did. With great misgivings she made an appointment, almost backed out at the last minute but kept it. I had to be with her the whole time. I had given Dr. Harris a heads up and he was terrific. She was in bad enough shape that it took a few weeks before she was pain free, but she did get there. Now she is a believer and pays a visit at the first sign of a problem. Judit has asked me whether I prefer Dr. Harris or Dr. Roberts and I had to say that I do not have a preference. They are both excellent chiropractors. She does have a preference (and I am not saying which) but it is not a strong enough preference for her to request one over the other. If I have a nit to pick it has to do with being made to watch a video on the benefits of Chiropractic on my first visit. For Judit, making her first visit to a chiropractor I could see it but I had been going to chiropractors since these guys were in diapers if not before. That is preaching to the converted. read more

It doesn't suprise me to see Dr. R with so many amazing reviews...I have tried several chiropractors over the years and he is simply and by far the best. A few years ago I was suffering from moderate to severe chronic pain and stifness in my neck, shoulders and back that was getting progressively worse....to the point where I couldn't stand for more than an hour without stabbing pain and muscle spasams and long plane flights were agonizing. Treatment from medical doctors and physical therpaists was ineffective, so I went to see Dr. R upon the recommendation of a friend. It was one of the luckiest things I've done. I started noticing improvment in my condition within a couple of his treatments...and things steadly improved with further adjustments over the course of six months. I have been pain-free for at least a couple of years now...so this wasn't just a palliative cure. In addition, Dr. R is has a pleasant demeanor, is obviously dedicated to his profession and does some great community service too. He also knows the limits of chiropractic care..and isn't going to try to cure Stage III cancer. I've referrred other to him and I can't say enough...he is the best....and has earned my unqualified praise and recommendation. read more
