Took camper in to have roof sealed and cocked and picked it up after paying, only to find that when we got it home the dome that covers the bathroom ceiling vent was busted. Nothing was said about it and we drive it home. When we inspected it we found the dome smashed. When we sent pictures and asked for repair we were told they didn't do that damage to the dome. Obviously no one inspected the work that was done. We also found that the antenna was replaced and a dusty mess was left with debris inside the repair Job. Also, our whole camper was covered in excess grime from oxidation from cocking the roof and they didn't wash it off. Very disappointing for what we paid to have it fixed. read more

Camping at Two Rivers Campground in Carrollton Kentucky. Needed a part for my water heater. Unable to locate part in area searched Yelp. This business was approx 20 minutes easy drive. Called and ask if they had part the person who answered advised they did and he looked forward to are arrival. On arrival about 9.30 AM found part we needed and purchased two of them. Asked the person a question about the part and he explained why the old one did not work and that this part will work fine. Very good customer service. On my return to camper the part worked perfectly. Excellent service. read more

Hi. I just had some repairs done at Rivertown RV. I am very pleased with the work they did. What makes them high on my satisfaction list is that during the repair of my fairly new travel trailer they noticed that one side of my gray tank was not attached to the support bracket from the manufacturer. They went ahead and attached it and let me know when i picked it up. Had they not done that it would have been covered and i would not have known until a problem would have arisen. That's the type of integrity that is sometimes hard to find. The other work they preformed was excellently done and reasonably priced. Happy to have this business in the neighborhood. read more

Set out on the road in my converted van and wouldn't you know, passing through kentucky just outside Louisville, the lid on my roof exhaust fan (which I had accidentally left open) flew off into the wind. After pulling over and calling several places to no avail, Jorly swiftly returned my call and determined which sort of fan enclosure I had, and told me he had me covered (and that he actually carries every type). He had me in and out the door of what appeared to be a well stocked RV supplies location in about five minutes. He was very professional and friendly and made sure I understood how to replace the lid and gave me a fair price. I bought a 2006 Trailer Cruiser by Trail Lite. 26' long with a queen bed, foldout couch, breakfast nook, full frig, 3 burner stove, oven, A/C, furnace, microwave , shower, bathroom with vanity, kitchen with double sink, built in sound system, etc. .Looked good outside and inside. It went for inspection in Hardin County, Kentucky and failed because the inspector found the floor to be structurally weak. I took up the floor and found the entire floor from the double wheel well back to the e bathroom was rotten throughout due to water damage. Further demolition revealed a blown out wheel well on the passenger's side that brought water into the subfloor and a detachment of cross support beams from the traler"s frame. The trailer had obviously been in a severe accident and had significant damage requiring repairs beyond my ability to perform. Fortunately for me, I found Rivertown RV and It's owner and employees. Over the course of many months, though a winter and spring the folks at Rivertown RV found and fixed the structural damage, removed the rebuilt and rebuilt and damaged portion of the floor, removed and repaired and replaced Ed the blown wheel well and checked out, inspected, repaired and or replaced every broken item and system I. The trailer including new A/C . They accomplished all of this within their pre-workout estimate. To stay within budget they had to come up with some very inventive solutio n s to challenging problems. When a proposed solution was tried and failed, they developed another solution without charging me for the failed attempt. The owner, James Lawrence, is as honest as the day is long. He is straight forward and transparent in his communications and his billing.He knows the technical details of every job He is a rare find. A competent and honest and skilled business man. I cannot more fully express my highest regard and gratitude to all the staff at Rivertown RV (including Walt) for their incredible dedication and skill. I now have a wonderful and very comfortable travel trailer that breezed through Inspection. Five stars just ain't enough. read more
