I've waited a few weeks to write this in hopes the managers would take care of the situation but they have yet to do so here we are... May 13, 2024 we took our 2019 4Runner Pro in for an oil change. When my husband picked it up they informed us the bolts on our skid plate were cross threaded...in reality we were missing a bolt due to their shops negligence in loosing it. On our vehicle you have to remove the skid plate to preform the oil change. Therefore if a bolt is missing... that wasn't missing prior to the service... that falls on the shop to fix/ replace. We also noticed the tint on our windshield was ripped, and a new mileage sticker for next service was slapped on top of it. Nothing was said to us at pickup. It looked as if they were trying to conceal the damage and hope we wouldn't notice...We did... I called and spoke to Tre the manager. He was more than happy to pay for the tint to be repaired at the shop it was originally put on at. Great thank you, however I still had to take another day to run around and get this handled. We also needed to get a recall on the fuel pump handled. This appointment was originally scheduled May 20, 2024 but was rescheduled to May 24, 2024 due to the "call center scheduling it incorrectly". I was told it was a 2-4 hour service and we would be called when it was done. At the same time they were also supposed to replace the missing bolt. We did the overnight drop-off for our 8am service appointment. We called around noon checking on the status as we hadn't heard anything. We got placed on almost 35 minute hold and while on hold received a text photo of our 4Runner on a lift, taken apart but not finished. They stated they had started the service but left for lunch and they would be finishing when they get back. Our vehicle was not ready until 4pm! 8 hours we were without our vehicle on a job that should at max take half that time (their words). When we finally got to pick it up the key was handed to us, no direction of where our vehicle was, no information on if they had finished all the work or anything. We were given excuse after excuse of why it took so long, "the air compressor was out" "we lost power and it made us behind on all other services". This shouldn't even matter since our appointment was first thing at 8 am. Once we found our vehicle that was parked in the back of the service lot we also noticed the bolt was still not replaced! We went back inside and waited 45 mins for Tre to be available and to talk to him about our frustrations. While we were waiting, Natalie ran back and forth to the parts department trying to find a replacement bolt but later realized they had to order it in. We said that was fine and she assured us they would call as soon as it came in and get it taken care of. We're not heartless people here, I work in customer service myself, and I recognize that Tre was stressed dealing with another customer issue. We were politely and patiently waiting for him but eventually left after being assured by Natalie that he would call us when he was available. My husband has since called and gone in to try and figure out the situation with this missing bolt. The Service Director and Service Manager have both dropped the ball on this situation. They've ordered the wrong bolts on two different occasions. They asked him to come in so they can again look at this bolt and order it in. When he was there they were nothing but dismissive and acted annoyed they were having to deal with this issue. All these other issues while frustrating were slightly handled and we let it go. But due to the dismissive nature of the situation as a whole and past issues with this dealership and service department, we decided to warn others. As of today July 2, 2024 we STILL have not gotten the replacement bolt for our skid plate. STILL have not received any follow up calls from either manager. We will no longer be giving Rivertown Toyota any further business nor referrals. We are extremely disappointed that this Toyota Dealership has gone downhill over the years.

dropped my vehicle off at 9:30 this morning for a 10 o'clock appointment. At 2:52, my vehicle had still showed that it completed the arrival process and had yet to been touched by a mechanic. This is the second time I have had issues with this company.this is the second time I have had issues with this company. I do not recommend it. However, if you want to waste your time by all means use this company. If you want your vehicle fixed properly and in a timely manner, take it elsewhere.

The mileage was 47,112 IN 2014!!! 10 years ago! This car isn't worth $5000. And was not even available to drive. Horrible.

Two weeks later I went to replace the cabin and engine air filters and noticed that the coolant was an inch below minimum. I checked the "routine service inspection" sheet and it was marked as "good". There was literally probably 5 ounces in the reservoir. This is, in fact, not good. Now I question if the entire inspection and service was a sham. To put the icing on the cake, they even tried to give me a cash offer on our vehicle by phone as I pulled out of the dealership. I'll most likely go elsewhere for service.

Least expected to write this review as during the sales process everything was perfectly fine but…read moreafterwards is where my problems began. I purchased a 2019 Mercedes CLS53 AMG, when I saw the vehicle I asked if i could get a PPI (pre purchase inspection ) they denied it & assured me the vehicle has been through a rigorous 135 point inspection & sold it to me with a 90 day limited warranty. Since purchasing on August 27th almost 2 months ago the vehicle has been in the shop for over a month, from a coolant leak from a failed heater pipe to a turbo line leaking oil to now the oil leaking from deep within engine block from the high pressure fuel pump. (*update from when I first wrote this in my notes: Cam position sensor also leaking oil) The vehicle has over 35 hours & counting of in-shop service repairs. At the time of this review I still do not have my vehicle. Along with the vehicle being in absolute terrible mechanical shape, I paid cash for this car Aug 27th 2024 & now on Oct. 22nd still have not received the title (*update Received on 10/29/24)I reached out to my salesperson Josh multiple times to which he said he would check for me & now stopped responding to me all together. I called last Tuesday (10/15) spoke with Kevin the used car manager who said he would both check on status of my title & see if he can speak with his higher ups on if they can help me in anyway for the over $8,000 in repairs my car has succumbed to, which again is absolutely abysmal on a 2019 with only 54k miles. Kevin did not call me back on 10/15 as he said he would to update me on status of my title nor did he reach back out by that Friday 10/18 where he said he would have word from some of the higher ups on what they can do to alleviate this horrible situation. I instead called Kevin myself 10/21 hoping he would have an answer for both things but he just transferred me to someone's voicemail. I ended up speaking with someone eventually on status of my title & though it's absolutely ridiculous to have to wait 2 months for a title, Im happy someone gave me some sort of update. Now, autonation is a huge company & I was happy with their professionalism during the purchase process, however true colors always shine after the fact & that is exactly what is happening here. Usually it is the smaller lower end dealerships you have these problems with but unfortunately I and a ton of other people from these reviews have also dealt with super rough vehicles that Im not entirely sure how they get mechanically approved. I have all receipts from the repairs, little over 9 weeks of ownership & I have had the car for a total of maybe 2 weeks. Over $8,000 in repairs, was given 90 day warranty from auto-nation which of course does not cover all repairs, I have personally paid over $3,000 of the repairs from my pocket, along with towing costs when the vehicle broke down. Im sure there will be a generic comment asking me to call a GM. I did not want to write this review but their actions here have left me no choice at all.

Unfortunately for us, our milage put us past the extended warranty, so we knew we would have to pay. We asked for the estimate and was told $300 labor, plus parts. We went to the parts department and was told $255 for the part. We decided to make an appointment (mistake #1). We showed up at 7:45 AM and they took our van back while we waited. They then came back with an estimate for $1150, nearly $450 more than our regular mechanic estimated. The part had somehow increased in price to $368 dollars. Mind you, they did not find any greater problem than when we came in for the original estimate, the original estimate was knowingly inaccurate. They said I did not have to get the work done, but I now owed the $200 for diagnosing the problem, the exact problem I told them we had when we came in. Since we were in for $200 already and had already faced the aggravation of dealing with this issue, we OK'd the repair (mistake #2). Since the job is supposed to take an hour and ten minutes and they told us they had already started, we decided to wait (mistake #3). Despite getting there at 7:45 AM we were the very last people out of the garage that day at 6:45 PM. We were clearly customers that did not rate in their eyes. We'll be looking for a new car in about a year and a half. I recommend Mike Patton in Lagrange. We have always been treated well by them.
