I know you don't have a lot of leeway from where to rent moving equipment since they charge by the mile so how far away can you rent from if you live nearby, but either DON'T go here, or take photos of everything because they will try to weasel money you don't owe.

We brought our vehicle in to comply with a Cadillac engine recall inspection. The dealership told us engineering found the audio "normal," so the vehicle wasn't classified as defective. However, immediately after picking it up, we experienced severe issues--engine noise, shaking, and multiple warning messages. We had the car towed back, only to be told nothing could be found. Hours after taking it home again, the same issues occurred, requiring a second tow. Still, the dealership claimed they could not duplicate anything, even though these symptoms match those described in the recall notice itself. After three visits and two tows, we were offered no resolution, no repair, and no acknowledgment of the safety risks. We felt we had no ethical choice but to sell the vehicle back to the dealership at a below-market price of $74,000, paying $9,265.10 out of pocket to cover the shortfall--simply to protect ourselves and avoid selling an unsafe vehicle privately. When I directly asked the Service Manager what they planned to do with the car, he said, "We're going to retail it." When asked whether they would disclose the safety concerns, he said they would rely on the fact that they "could not duplicate" the issues. To make matters worse, the vehicle was posted for sale almost immediately for $83,777 (VIN 1GYS4RKL6PR384990). This has been an extremely troubling experience, both financially and from a consumer safety perspective. Buyers deserve full transparency, and unfortunately, that was not our experience here.

Sometimes the wait can be at least one week. So, call first before you go.
