I've been searching for a great local coffee shop in Southern, NH, and boy has it been difficult. Thanks to the Riverwalk Cafe, I've finally found a good place to get a delicious latte. There are a great many flavors of lattes and coffees to choose from at Riverwalk, which keeps each trip there new and interesting. Their lattes are smooth with a perfect hint of foam, just the way I like it. My favorite latte so far is the toffee flavored one. There is almost always a small line when I visit, but the line moves quickly enough that it's not a huge inconvenience. I have had breakfast at the Riverwalk before. They offer bagels, breakfast sandwiches, pastries, homemade granola, and more. Their bagels aren't anything special, so don't get too excited about those. I did try their granola over yogurt with blueberries on top, which was satisfying. The star of the dish was the granola - the yogurt was kind of thin - so I would recommend getting the granola on its own or with blueberries. I had originally ordered a bagel and after paying they realized they were out, so they gave me my second choice with no extra charge (even though the granola costs more). That was nice of them. I've always been pleased with their service. Say goodbye to Dunkins and Starbucks. This local coffee shop is 5 times better, in my opinion. read more

Really strong coffee that really provided a good jolt of energy without any sort of bitter taste. Nice atmosphere inside. The tables are laid out for individuals or groups of 2. We had a group of four and it was hard to find a place for all of us to sit. There is seating for maybe 16 people. Despite the small size it didn't seem cramped at all and service was quick. A great place to meet friends for a snack and beverage. It feels like it belongs more in Portsmouth than Nashua, so it's great to have spot like that. It has comfy couches and non-traditional seating. They also have live music, but I haven't been there for that yet. I hope to go some time soon. read more

My girlfriend and I went in today to see this cafe that has received a ton of awesome reviews. We came a in and sat at the bar, for about 5 minutes. We were then approached by a server and I asked for a menu and after a little trepidation was told it's above the register or a small one on a small table. We reviewed the one above the register and was ready to order, but neither the original server came back nor did any of the 3 servers behind the bar/counter ask us if we needed help even after making eye contact with them. We go out and eat quite a bit, I don't believe I should have to approach the servers to ask to be helped. We are NOT high end or pretentious people. I would be willing to give this place another chance due to its eclectic nature and great decor. read more

Riverwalk has a lovely, youthful energy to it. They support local artists and host live bands. I don't go to the cafe for the entertainment, though--I go for the coffee, which is consistently great. Their ice coffee is superb. read more

Nice unique eclectic fun place, I only have had coffees and every one I have tried I liked. A few folks with me loved the food they got as well. It is a nice slow placed place where you should really stay and enjoy your time there talking with friends/family. I have only been prior to 6 pm so I am no help to how it is in the eves. Parking can be tight depending on time you are there. We did sit out side in summer but it is too bad they do not have a nice big deck would be the icing on the cake for this place read more

Riverwalk Cafe is my Second Office! I love the People there. The Coffee is Organic and roasted right in the cafe. It is amazing. They go out of there way to get what I need, and put up with my crazy lac of coffee every morning. They even went out the way to have almond Milk for my coffee, (because I have a dairy free diet). The coffee here is great and they have a variety of creams from skim milk to soy. You also get about 16 ounces of ice coffee for $2 which you can't really beat as far as local coffee shops go. Atmosphere is great as well. Next time I go, I intend to buy a bagel sandwich to go with my coffee and will update this accordingly. read more
