I got an ice coffee and an egg/ham bagel. The food was basic and good. I don't live in the area and Riverwalk Cafe was a welcome change from the other restaurants around. The kids working the counter were immature (as they should be I guess) and while I know they are good people, its annoying to compete for a girl's attention with some dorky guy sitting in a chair right near the counter, obviously there for hours. Needless to say, my order was confused and late. Still though, I would return!! I wasn't in a hurry on the day I went. read more

My daughter and I grab breakfast down here on sunny weekends. She loves the strawberry smoothie ( a healthy version of a frozen treat- no dairy in this though), and she also orders an egg and bacon croissant. I prefer either an iced coffee (smooth, not watered down, great cold brew taste) and a veggie and egg biscuit, hold the ranch. The biscuits are savory and flaky, like a good baking powder biscuit with added onion and cheese. Love them! There's always a long line and it can be as pricey as a sit down breakfast at The City Room, but we love being able to eat outside, the bright Italian pottery and people watching. I love the expanded digs! It's nice being able to find a seat on weekend mornings. The extended hours are a major plus too.

Just tried the pecan pie cheesecake. so oooo good. I usually don't care for cheesecake, but this was the most amazing creation EVER! Fluffy creamy filling tastes just like butter pecan ice-cream. Caramel running down the top with a pile of pecans, and an amazing crust. read more

I can't even bother to review the food, atmosphere, or location. The staff is shady and consumers should beware. Today my lunch came to $11.73. I handed the girl my card, signed the electronic kiosk, and was given my receipt for $14.47. How presumptive and inappropriate to tack on a 20% gratuity for yourself without my consent. I hope the $2.70 was worth a bad conscience. Riverwalk and it's staff should be ashamed of such unethical practices. read more

Went to this place last week after staying 1.5 years near Nashua downtown. Nice place, has a old British look. Cozy ambiance. The coffee was very good. I ordered their veggie breakfast sandwich which they serve on a biscuit. Was't great but not bad either. Friendly staff and good service. Nice place to spend your mornings on the weekends. Riverwalk Cafe serves wonderful espresso drinks and I often stop here in the mornings on my way to work. Their eggplant sandwich is also a favorite at lunchtime. There are two things that constantly stand out as needing improvement. First, the Iggy's bagels. Normally I would say there's no way to improve an Iggy's bagel - but most of the time Riverwalk serves stale Iggy's bagels because they only purchase them from Iggy's when they run out. Second, the customer service. Riverwalk takes it's time providing excellent espresso beverages - which is wonderful if there isn't a line of 10 people waiting to purchase their morning coffee. On several occasions I've been in Riverwalk with a line almost out the door with a single attendant behind the counter while one or two employees sit and have their breakfast or chat with people in the shop. Why aren't they more concerned with getting customers in and out as soon as possible? read more

Wow. A coffee shop that actually serves good coffee. How surprising. After driving around the downtown we decided on Riverwalk cafe for a quick coffee before driving back to Massachusetts. Took my two fifteen year old nieces there today for a snack. What a pretentious hole of a place. Beautifully appointed seating area. Worst coffee I've had in a long time. Their espresso was like drinking battery acid. Stale and rancid. I had a large raspberry muffin, heated, and it came out cold as ice in the middle. Pastries are as bad as the coffee. Nice place to sit. Bring your own coffee and pastry though. read more

Any opportunity I get to stuff a reuben sandwich (or any variation thereof) into my mouthface, I take. And to be clear, I wasn't about to start passing up such an opportunity now. Chicken, red onion, kraut, thousand island, rye bread, bam. Or try the classic pastrami version if you aren't prone to excruciating heartburn like I am. We love this cafe/bar in downtown Nashua. It's a wonderful location for amazing live music and top notch coffee drinks. It's one of the best places I've found to get a cappuccino. The atmosphere is quirky in a good way as well as comfortable. The food, mostly sandwiches, are good even though the options are limited. The service is friendly but often amateurish. The atmosphere is terrific the service is the worst around and it never changes I've gone there for two years on occasion and it's never gotten better. Be prepared to wait in a line while 4 people take one order. They all stand there and look at you. That's why there's a line. 3 people should be doing 3 things not one and 2 staring. The waitresses are good looking but the attitude is a little stuck up. Good vegetarian options and a hipsterish feels to the place. Serve alcohol and have funky jazz bands and stuff on the weekends. Food is a bit pricey but decent. Makes for a good first date. read more

Great atmosphere and food, but the entertainment will have to hold you over. The bartenders are slow mostly because they don't know how to make classic drinks or things on their menu. It's hard to get service at the bar or even clarifications on their menu. Can't handle big crowds. We waited at the bar for over an hour and people that came in after us got served first.
