This is my top favorite breakfast place. I'm here pretty much every weekend. Their breakfast sandwiches are awesome and their coffees are fantastic. They're not always great about following special orders, so when I try to switch things up on my sandwich order it doesn't always come out as I ordered but it's still very delicious so that doesn't really bother me. They usually follow the menu and are good about making one change but if you have more than one change on an item you might only get one of the changes you asked for. But again, the food is fantastic so I don't really mind. We recently went there to enjoy a story teller session, which was incredible. The set up for seeing live music is excellent. It's a very intimate setting and the acts they have on are all very good that we're seen. I love how they support local talent! read more

I walked into riverwalk and really loved the atmosphere it gave off. I stood in line for no less than a minute because it wasn't very busy at the time. All I ordered was a coffee and a muffin. After ordering, I had to wait 15 minutes for my muffin after having to remind someone to get it for me after they forgot. The workers and manager there are rude and not helpful AT ALL. I would rather go down the street to other nearby Cafes and get better quality food and friendlier service. read more

Now I don't know who you can thank, but after embarrassing me, it's a 2/5, and that's with the nostalgia glasses on. Your bohemian vibes and industrial aesthetic doesn't make up for the fact that my friend and I waited 40 minutes (it was not busy at all) for two subpar coldcut sandwiches, served with bagged potato chips and an indelible pickle (mushy, as if it were previously frozen). It looked like it was assembled by an epileptic 3rd grader. I'd rather spend my money at Denny's. That should tell you enough. Fire your cook or manager. Get your acts together. Nashua doesn't need you giving them another reason to stick to chains and franchises. read more

I held off on reviewing Riverwalk until I returned to try the coffee. I previously had stopped in for sandwiches, which were very good, not the afterthoughts you usually get with coffeeshop food. The coffee, I can now say, is excellent. I ordered the traditional which was made with strong, smooth espresso. The foam isn't quite perfect, but that's my only complaint. As it says in the name, Riverwalk is a music venue and a pretty good one it seems. There are shows more nights than not and they have a full liquor license (more beers please). The room with the stage is dark and intimate with funky decorations while there is a brighter front room that appears to host board gamers. read more

Sometimes the road less traveled is really worth it. On a recent trip north of the (Mass.) border a bunch of us voted against taking 293, instead choosing to meander our way through Nashua. When it got to around lunchtime we chose not to go with the staples (pizza, subs) or usual places (chains, fast-food operations). Needing both coffee and sandwiches, and wanting a place to stop, we pulled into a parking lot right in front of the Riverwalk. We found Riverwalk to be an Italian-flavored coffeehouse, the standards - coffee, cappuccino, etc., - from beans roasted by the owner on premises, as well as a variety of sandwiches and baked goods. We each got regular coffees and split paninis served on rye that apparently just came from the oven. Everything was very fresh and the combination of ingredients brought out the flavor in each item. Tasty all around. Atmosphere was very relaxed and the place had a pleasant, relaxed feel that provided a great alternative to the pace and flavor (or lack thereof) of a chain or fast food place. Realistically, the service, atmosphere and products are what Starbucks aspires to, but misses. We all decided that we'd be back next time we're in Nashua. read more

I had come here on a rainy Sunday on a road trip with a friend - craving some coffee I'd turned on my Yelp app and searched nearby for some coffee houses. Nashua must be known for having things closed on Sunday - or something; but this place was open and most certainly a beacon of roasted delights. They have a "special espresso" coffee menu to the left of their menu, and for someone who often trades coffee for real food, I ordered a peanut butter cup espresso. It tasted like a seventh heaven. It tasted like a warm spring day. Its peanut butter flavor lingered only for a few sips and turned into a delightful cup of mocha espresso. The atmosphere was very nice, there people seated throughout the coffeehouse, just chatting and if I had the time, I probably would have hunkered down too. I wanted to tour the small, but reasonably-sized rooms and operate their roaster, but alas, I ordered my espresso to go and left. I want to give this place a 4.75 but since that's not an option I'm giving it a 5 star rating. The only downside about this place is that it's a little too cluttered for my taste. There are paintings and equipment everywhere and from where you sit in the front area you can see cleaning supplies over the top of the "closet area". That being said the coffee was seriously delicious, their breakfast sandwiches are probably the best I've ever had, so big and filling. The english muffin is so delicious I could eat just that as a meal. I also had one of their protein shakes here and it was so filling I couldn't finish it. The service is awesome, they're so nice and fast. The seating is eclectic and welcoming and the wrap around windows in the front are so cozy when the sun is out. This place might be my eyes vision come to life as the hybrid cafe/bar/bakery. Its nestled in a corner shop, smack dab in the middle of Downtown Nashua. I immediently fell in love with the dark smoldering atmosphere and how warm and cozy it was inside verses the blistering cold outside, and yes I do mean blistering I got wind burn. I had the black iced coffee and their raspberry bar which tasted homemade, but I was a little dissapointed in the pumpkin loaf which tasted very obviousely from a box/package. The old fashioned lighting, as well as the deep teal/peacock colored walls makes for a beautiful and fun place to grab a snack with a friend of a small intimate date. read more

I went to the Riverwalk for the first time recently after the renovations and it's amazing. There is now a stage and a bar and inspirational quotes on the walls, it looks like a classy, fun coffee shop. There is still beautiful art on the walls, though I could not figure out who the artist were because I did not see any signs. The staff has become even more friendly and super helpful. They answered all my questions and made me a delicious soy chai latte. This is a great place to go and relax during the morning or meet friends and have a drink at night. There are also may plugs for laptops if you want to find a place to go and do some work. I will definitely be making more visits here. read more

Have been here two times now. The first time was at night for drinks and a show - very lively and fun crowd and band. Drinks were unique and delicious though a bit pricey. I returned for lunch recently and ordered the chicken salad wrap. It was okay, but it was basically just cubed chicken and mayo (a lot of it) in the wrap. No celery or cranberries or onion or something to spice it up. The wrap was also grilled, so the chicken salad was warm, which was not what I expected. Still good, just not great. Located in the historical heart of Nashua Riverwalk affords lines on certain days which process quickly. Cozy environment, small cafe, unique decor, good local gossip. Has backroom, windowed-room, and outdoor seating. Espresso is mixed bean. Baristas use traditional tools and methods unlike chain cafes. All things aside, if you want a high quality cup of coffee Riverwalk is the place to go in Nashua NH. read more

Riverwalk has benefited from its new ownership to become one of the most happening, "Bohemian" culture centers in Nashua. My short opinion of the cafe and music bar is you get Quality for a fair price. On the way, improvements slowly were made over the several years as we stayed repeat customers. It started with having the best latte and espresso drinks served in Nashua, bar none. They also improved the quality of their roasted beans for sale, and we almost exclusively buy coffee beans from Riverwalk at this point. Then they added to and improved everything offered on the menu, which can appear limited or pricey, but unlike the competition, the food does not cut corners. They also now serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner with most of the menu available all day (just ask!). Next Riverwalk brought in high-quality desserts, to include cookies, biscotti, macaroons, pecan bars, and cakes. You again get Quality at a fair price. Last but not least was the addition of the music bar. The music draws big crowds for the space and has certainly become a refreshing night spot. However, not wanting to partake in the musical activities has a drawback of a lower quality of service than during the day simply because it adds confusion to the wait staff.
