No need to pack anything but your sunscreen, wanted beverage, and water proofed bag for keys/credit cards/ID/electronics etc. bc they have all the necessary equipment ready to go once you sign the appropriate waver. We paddled up to No-Li brewery and back in that 2-hr time frame and thoroughly enjoyed our jaunt. I'd recommend this Fun Unlimited activity to anyone desiring to paddle on SUP's.

Bathrooms actually smelled nice but there was used toilet paper thrown into the corner, debris scattered all over the floor (this was the morning so maybe the cleaning person was not at work yet). No hand soap in the rest room. Toilet paper in industrial sized rolls, laid on the counter, stacked up. None mounted in the stalls, I took one off the counter and hung it on the coat rack of the stall.

Located just north of the city of Coeur D'Alene sits Hayden Lake, perfectly nestled in a quaint neighborhood with hillside homes and shady trees. Although a little small, the beach features plenty of areas to camp out near the shore or up the beach in the shade, and a dock to the right allowing for small watercrafts to launch into the water. We spotted the perfect spot for our party of 7 and set up camp. Docks surround the swimming area which allows for plenty of water depths to swim/float/dive/ect in! It was a beautiful day and the cold water felt amazing. The kids made sandcastles while the adults swam, floated and soaked up the sun. The snack shack features a wide variety of food and cold drinks ranging from sodas, and popsicles to pizzas, corndogs and more. Sure, prices are a little steep for the generic food, when I came back to the umbrella boasting cold popsicles, the kiddos loved it! The only major downside is parking. There isn't a designated lot, but spots line the road for at least a mile, so if you can't snag a spot up close (like we did!) be prepared to walk and schlep all your jazz to the beach. However, when back visiting family, I'd easily return to this quaint slice of paradise!

It enclosed an area for kids to swim around without having to worry about boats. The sandy beach area backs up to a grass. So play or lay in the sand or relax on the grass. There's also a section with kids life jackets to use at not cost. The place is absolutely gorgeous. It's almost unreal The downside - it can get packed pretty quickly. So not a lot of elbow room on the those summer days when everyone wants to get out. There's not many options for parking. So if you're not lucky enough to snag a spot up close. You could end up parking 1/4 mile away. Still an amazing place to relax and have fun ! A must do !

It appears they have power & water, but no sewer hookups. I suppose you'd have to go off site to dump your tank. That would be inconvenient for us. The lodge itself was quite nice. Our bartender was very friendly & we enjoyed chatting with him for awhile. Drinks were reasonable & the place was clean as a whistle. If we lived closer we'd be proud to be member of this lodge.

I primarily attend water fitness classes. The instructors are all great; however, many middle-late aged female attendees are territorial about "their" perceived spot in the pool during class. They double-down on their disdain for females not in their pack by being rude and unfriendly. It feels a lot like high school bullying from 40 years ago. I have brought the issue to a couple of the instructors and they just shrug and agree that they've seen it but... I don't expect Kroc staff to do anything about it necessarily. It's just sad that the environment exists, especially at this Christian based facility. Apparently, some of the female members didn't get the memo.

My children loved Liz and she was exceptional with all the kids on the trip. All of our guides were 100% friendly, helpful, experienced, and stressed safety throughout the trip. The lodges we stayed in were historic, beautiful, and comfortable. Its not Four seasons but its fantastic compared to tent camping. The food was delicious and much better than I was expecting. We had some dietary restriction, and the team was very helpful and accommodating. Our entire family loved the entire trip, even my wife who is not the outdoorsy type. I would not hesitate to book another trip in the future with ROW. Thank you again to Tom, Liz, Mike, and Jake for making this an incredible family adventure.
