The doctor was very thorough and was referencing books to compare my previous gummy smile treatment (which was not done correctly). This review is based on my experience with Dr Ardilla doing my lip filler. First, he is very friendly and makes you at ease when he does the lip filler. The problem is that I developed lumps in my lips despite only getting half a syringe. I did express my concerns, and stated to them that I wanted to dissolve the filler. They asked me to come in and Dr. Ardilla massaged the area. Massaging my lips did not dissolve the lumps. When he was doing the massage to try to get rid of the lumps he stated there's no way there won't be any lumps when getting lip filler. The lumps I have; look gross and unattractive. I have seen others get lip filler and it looks flawless on them. I was lured by the wonderful reviews. I paid $600 just to get lumps on my lips. I should have gone to another business in Riverside where they charge $300 for half a syringe. I know Jessica from the other business would have done a better job on my lips. In conclusion, I would not recommend this business for lip filler. read more

First of all, let me say the doctor is friendly & warm, and so is the staff. I went in and asked about Bellafill, a "supposedly" 5 year last filler. I had asked the doctor if 3 syringes of Bellafill would be able to lift my jowls I had going, and he said yes. So I got the 3 syringes, and was bruised & swollen for quite a while, which is normal for this filler. After about 3 months, I noticed that most of the filler was gone, and I still had my jowls. The doc told me it was normal & collagen would start forming,,,,,, which it didn't, even after my 6 month checkup. He then told me I would need more of the Bellafill filler. I was upset, because he previously told me that 3 syringes would be enough to lift my jowls, right before I had the filler injections. I declined it, it was expensive enough,,,, about $800.00 per syringe, which I had 3, and I couldn't afford anymore. So he offered me some free microdermabrasion, along with a laser treatment to lift my slight double chin. First, the laser treatment didn't work, and second, right after I had the microdermabrasion treatment, he told me that the Bellafill worked, because my jowls look lifted. I told him that right after microdermabrasion your skin will look firmer, because of the increased blood flow to that area. He just shook his head no, it wouldn't do that. I was really surprised that the doctor DID NOT know that fact,,,,,, either that or he was just bull shitting me. Needless to say, my jowls came back a few hours after the microdermabrasion treatment, which was normal. Plus,,,,,,, what was left of the Bellafill in me only lasted 3 years total. The office should have told me right from the beginning,,, that Bellafill can last UP TO 5 YEARS. Instead, they told me it will last 5 years. A big difference! If I knew that in the beginning, I wouldn't have got it. So beware if you do chose to have Bellafill,,,,, plus, it can leave permanent lumps, as it did on me. The doctor might tell you otherwise. And, as we get older, like in our 60's plus, our collagen doesn't replenish like it does when we're younger. So we might need more filler in a certain areas, as I learned that after all this. I love this place! It's truly the best skincare place I have ever found. I get IPL facials here and have seen great results. I also tried the 1540 laser and it got rid of my scars in one session! One! It helped my self-esteem so much. Sue is always nice and greets you and makes sure that you are comfortable. Jennifer does an amazing job with my facial and dermablading (which is finally a fair price)! Dr. Ardila is the best. He explains everything to you before he does it. He makes sure you are comfortable at all times. He doesn't try to upsell you and tells you what treatments are worth it and which ones aren't. I've tried whitening creams and potions and just fed up with the expense of these foo foo "treatments" that absolutely did not work which lead me to IPL exactly 1 week ago and I can't be more thrilled with the results. Dr. A and his staff are so thorough, patient and sweet as can be. I moved to the area from OC and have been researching IPL for at least 6 months. Based on all of the positive reviews I read, I finally mustered the nerve to make an appointment and the only disappointment comes from not having called sooner!! I was a swimmer in my youth and have TONS of freckles which merged to blobs. During my consult with Dr. A I discovered that not all of my discoloration comes from freckles, but also from melasma. Pump the brakes... what?! It's not what I thought it was, but just a little more difficult to treat. In addition to the freckles and meslasma.. rosacea. Now I'm not going to sugar coat it, the process hurt... well, it stung. About 1 hour after the treatment, my skin was red and had brown spots EVERYWHERE and felt like a bad sunburn. The burning sensation subsided within a couple of hours. The following 2 mornings I woke up with a puffy face. Not desirable, but you're traumatizing the skin and some discomfort is to be expected for gorgeous skin. In about 5 days, the brown spots started flaking and what I discovered underneath those flakes?? Freckleless skin! 7 full days after treatment, I am finally in possession of the porcelain skin I have been yearning for since my teen years. Oh and did I mention, really reasonable pricing.
