If you're like me and your favorite part of a pedicure is the massage, then you've found your new nail salon for a pedi! All the techs are amazing when it comes to pedicures, however, I always schedule with Debbie. The techs really take their time, you never feel rushed. The salon is always booked but some how they always seem to fit me in for my on the whim pedicures. The salon is very clean and they still have up the dividers from early covid times. They are located in a mini plaza and there is plenty of parking. They use new files for each customer. The massages are the best part and they really take their time to massage your feet and calves. First the tech will massage you with a scrub, then they rinse that off and apply oil and lotion and give a second massage with the oil and the lotion. Lastly they use hot stones and hot towels and massage you with the stones. Pedicures are 10/10 and always last me a long time. They have plenty or colors- gel and regular polish. I have looked long and hard for a nail salon that met my pedicure needs and I have found the spot! read more

Just had the best pedi I've ever had here at Riviera! She spent an hour on a regular pedi and gave me an excellent foot and leg massage. The pedi also looks beautiful and was very meticulously done. All for $30 plus tip!! It's not the fanciest salon but what a great value and a thorough, excellent job. This is going to become my new regular nail salon on Staten Island. read more

I'm not sure how this place has four stars. I am new to this part of Staten Island and went here based on the reviews, and I will never come back. For one, the woman who did my nails cut me four times. The woman who did my mom's nails cut her three times. Once is an accident, seven times in one trip is a PROBLEM. After cutting me, she continued to be rough. In addition, the woman who did my nails messed up the last step of the dip and had to redo it. She again didn't wait long enough for them to dry and I ended up with bumps and dull spots. Four days later, the top layer of the dip is peeling off and looks ridiculous. I cannot understand how they are rated so highly. The place also does not feel as clean as I would like a nail salon to be. Save yourself a trip and go elsewhere! read more

I felt uncomfortable during my visit here because when I went, I felt like I was being sold for other services. I was pretty clear in what I wanted and how much I wanted to pay for the service, and I was still being asked to get other services which was off putting. They also added on gems to my nails and told me about the increased price after. Not a huge deal to pay a little extra but I would appreciate the transparency instead of having it glued on me, without telling me the price. When I asked whether there was any charge to remove the UV nails, they simply said no charge and to come right back to them. Two weeks later I went and guess what, they tried to charge me. I really wish someone had written this review for me to read before I went here. It probably would have saved 2 yrs of my life that died while I inhaled the horrible fumes in here. Besides what seemed like the total lack of ventilation and headache inducing chemical smog, my manicure kinda wasn't good. I got the gel manicure which is supposed to last at LEAST a week but mine started chipping and peeling up after 2 days. No one told me how to remove it (that it would peel up a layer of your own nails if you didn't soak it off with acetone. yick). When it came time to pay, they asked me for significantly more money than was up on their board of prices for a gel manicure. I pointed this out and someone barely managed to tell me in English that the price on the board was for a "different" gel manicure. Um. Yick. I won't be back. read more

I had the most relaxing and thorough pedicure of my life here! Additionally, I had a great gel manicure. Atmosphere: For Staten Island it's clean, has newish equipment, and sterile. The also have a ton of colors and high end brands. And are pretty organized. Service: The woman I had (didn't catch her name) was very patient, friendly, and warm. She always smiled and made sure I was happy with what she was doing. Procedure: She spent an HOUR just on my pedicure! That's unheard of...especially in NY! She did an entire leg scrub and I mean...SCRUB! She did a hot stone massage on my legs. It was like a spa treatment and pedicure in one. I would even go as far as saying, this was better than an actual pedicure done at the spa! The gel manicure was great. I can't say how much I loved it, until I see how long it will actually last. But the application was great! Overall: I would come back here and I'm so happy I finally found a place on Staten Island that isn't dingy and sub-par! Place has changed drastically here over the past year. Under new management. Pedicures are amazing and usually take 45 mins. My gel manicures always come out great even with a nice shoulder massage. This place gives the best pedicure on Staten Island! I have been coming here for years and continue to do so even after moving to the other side of the Island and living decently far. The workers are very thorough and skilled, and they do more exfoliating than other salons! This is basically a spa pedicure for the price of a regular one. Highly recommend! The only reason I am giving this place 2 stars is because of the amazing pedicures. I would give the pedicures at this place 5 stars, definitely the best. The women are very professional, give really long leg/foot massages, use creams and scrubs, and also put wax on the heels of your feet. On the other hand, the manicures at this place are the worst! I tried different women just to see if it was me, or if it was them.. and it is definitely them. They are too busy chatting it up with each other, rather than focusing on the task at hand. Every time I have gotten a manicure they have managed to cut me and also caused an infection. After that experience I have never gotten a manicure from them again. They have a poor selection of nail polish and it chips within a day or 2. If you come to this place come for the amazing pedicures because it is so worth it..skip out on the manicures. read more

This is my go to nail salon in SI for pedicures. Definitely the best pedicure in town and much better in terms of service and value than the standard nail salons I frequent in Manhattan. I've been coming here for quite sometime. I loved it initially because of an amazing pedicurist named Bella. She didn't talk a lot but she was kind, professional and a perfectionist. I go off hours, mon am, or a wed am but they always accommodate and when they are busy, never tell you 5 min and ends up being 20. Honest, they will tell you to come back if need be. First and foremost it should be known that this nail salon is under new ownership as of October or Nov of 2014 - so really disregard any old less than stellar reviews. Since the new ownership - they renovated and bought all new equipment/pedicure chairs etc. Very clean - they use liners for the pedicure tubs which are a dream for a germaphobe and give a mean massage for pedis too. I go to Chris for my nails and she is the best. Her husband James is there too and he's good as well but Chris is awesome. I get light concept nails and have gone many places prior to coming here and will never go anywhere else. She does really cute designs too! Highly recommend this nail salon. read more

I have gone to several different nail salons on Staten Island, but I think I have finally found my home LoL! They are so nice and patient. The owner Kris did my nails. Such a sweet woman. Where i normally look so foward to my pedicures here and trust every person that works there. I was given the a young lady that was rude. (Put her cell phine ear piece in just before) rough, ( had to tell her to stop literally stabbing me with the intruments she had in her hand as she was granbing ay my feet and hurting me with, completely unaware and quite frankly just rude. . She does not represent the reat of the staff here thats why i am so appalled by her behavior... its sad. I hope someone speaks to her because with employees like this. What a rip off when I got there I was told one amount then while she is doing my nails I was told another amount in the end I paid $80 for a pedicure and gel fill in and because i used my credit card they charged me an additional three dollars The pedicure was great but the gel fill-in was a rip off I will never go back there again read more
